Our tour guide was super knowledgeable, managed to get a quick overview of the Zurich city set up, which was helpful for the next couple of days of traveling.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and offered a lot of history about Lucerne and culture of the area, in addition to the wine and cheese tasting. When reading this tour, I found the description about the castle confusing. You will to an area near the edge of town (or away from tourist section), and take a large elevator up the mountain to the castle, which is now a hotel. There you’ll be able to hang out on the veranda and take beautiful photos of Lucerne. We happened to have a gorgeous sunny day. Given this, the activities, and great guide (Luz) we had a great time!

An incredible and truly delightful experience! Everything was thoughtfully curated – from the warm welcome by the crew and their personal introductions to the engaging and theatrical storytelling about Lake Lucerne and its deep ties to Swiss history. The journey far exceeded our expectations. Delicious food was generously served throughout, both in the elegant dining hall and on deck, as we explored the vessel and took in the stunning lakeside scenery.
