It was great to be able to enter without having to wait in line in the hot sun. I was able to enjoy every corner of the gardens and the Petit Trianon beyond. It gets crowded, so if you're going in the summer, I think you should take care of your health. The gardens are especially large, so you might want to take the mini-train when heading to the Petit Trianon. You can enjoy the ride with its thrilling swaying motion! 😊★

A decent option if the official Versailles website is out of time-slot tickets. Pros: + It's not a scam; the tickets were genuine and included all the listed palaces. + Bus transfer from the city center to Versailles, followed by quick pickup and access to the timed ticket line. This was great; we didn't have to stand outside for long or get cold in line. - The return transfer was too late for us; we were tired by then and left early.
