⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-star review! This trip to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park exceeded my expectations. A huge thank you to our tour guide for his attentive companionship throughout the entire trip. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the scenic routes, the geological formations of the peaks and forests, and the local customs and stories. His explanations were lively and engaging, not just reading from a script, allowing us to not only see the scenery but also understand the stories behind Zhangjiajie's landscape. The itinerary was well-paced, avoiding crowds, and he proactively recommended photo spots while repeatedly reminding us of safety precautions on the mountain steps. He was sincere and patient, promptly helping with any issues, and there was absolutely no hard selling. Traveling with a guide is worry-free and effortless; highly recommended!

A Yuan was able to cater to the needs of the team members. A guided tour helped them understand the wonders of nature better than simply seeing it on their own. Unfortunately, it was incredibly crowded during the holidays, with queues far exceeding the time spent on the guided tour and sightseeing. The itinerary was already quite tight, making it difficult to achieve perfection. The First Bridge Under Heaven, the "Avatar"-like peaks, the Imperial Brush Peak, the Heavenly Maiden Scattering Flowers, and other formations are remarkably lifelike, and there's even a mischievous ghost face in the "Cloud Green Rock." Zhangjiajie National Park is definitely worth a second visit.

We arrived at Tianmen Mountain today but it was so foggy that we missed many of the beautiful views. I highly recommend checking the weather forecast before you go. However, I must give a huge thumbs up to our tour guide who led our day trip to Tianmen Mountain! The entire itinerary was perfectly planned, saving us the trouble of researching, buying tickets, and waiting in long lines. He explained the route up the mountain, the best viewing spots, and how to avoid common tourist traps. He even planned out the best photo opportunities and recommended restaurants. There were absolutely no forced purchases, making for a very relaxing and enjoyable day. Choosing him for your Zhangjiajie trip is definitely a safe bet!

Overall, the trip met expectations. The tour guide was very responsible, the itinerary was well-planned, and we visited the key attractions. Queues during the National Day holiday were not as long as in the forest park. The VIP package was only useful for the cable car ride on Route A in the city center; other areas required normal queuing. The package basically included everything, though some items were not, which was explained in the description. However, the tour guide could help purchase additional items on-site; it was optional.

This tour that we did with our tour guide Cai was one of my highlights during my China trip! He was communicative from the very start and he made sure we had all our documents. The day we went to Tianmen Mountain was raining but Cai made the experience worth it because he was patient, friendly and acommodating to my family’s needs. We went with my 1 yr old and the transfer to furong town was very easy because the tour had a spacious vehicle that is also clean. We learned so much about the history because of Cai being so knowledgable about the whole place. He also took beautiful pictures of my family. We had such a great time! Thank you Cai!

We visited on a rainy day & foggy day, but you can have a great time and good views either way. Our guide Doris was amazing and navigated us in a way were we could avoid most big groups. She new alot about the park and her english was good, with her energetic personality you will have a great and fun time.
