This is a historically significant place. The scenic area isn't large; you can see everything in a little over an hour. The murals inside the main hall are quite beautiful and worth appreciating. If you're traveling from Baotou to Hohhot, it's worth a visit if it's on your way. It's very close to the highway exit, making it convenient to get there by car.

Jiufeng Mountain has a rich variety of natural landscapes, including towering peaks, deep canyons, spectacular waterfalls and streams. There are large and small peaks such as East Jiufeng, West Jiufeng, Daxiliang, Ganlinbei, Yangbei Mountain, as well as gullies such as Meidaigou, Shuijiangou, and Xiangguipugou in the scenic area. The main peak is 2,338 meters above sea level and is known as the "Little Taishan". In addition, the waterfalls of Jiufeng Mountain are also unique. They are small but numerous. In summer, the waterfalls form streams, which are even more spectacular in the rainy season.

This is Wudangzhao Temple (often simply called Wudangzhao by locals), a Tibetan Buddhist temple in Baotou, known as the "Little Potala Palace of the Northwest." Here's a travel review: Built against the mountainside, Wudangzhao Temple features white-walled halls scattered among the hills, creating a tranquil and solemn atmosphere. It is one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist temples in Inner Mongolia. The murals and statues inside are exquisite. The temple is not overly commercialized, and there are no noisy crowds. Walking on the stone steps and listening to the wind brings inner peace. It's a perfect place to calmly experience Tibetan Buddhist culture. It's worth a special trip when visiting Baotou.

There are so many activities in the desert: sandboarding, desert train rides, Bigfoot rides, camel riding, and it's best to travel off-peak. It's freezing cold! Remember to wear warm clothes. Emerging in the desert to escape the rain in late autumn—fewer people, great for taking photos, so refreshing!

It's pretty good, very close to the highway exit. Charging is very convenient. There are fruit picking gardens nearby, which is nice. There's also a village nearby.

We finally arrived at the famous Yungang Grottoes, and the first thing we did was hire a guided tour to learn more about the history. Despite the severe weathering, the craftsmanship of the ancient artisans is still amazing.

This is really an unexpected gain. I didn't expect that in the small Tuyou Banner, there is such a thoughtful museum. The museum has multiple exhibition halls, and the permanent exhibition halls have rich exhibits and wonderful content. I really recommend everyone to come and have a look.

There is nothing more thrilling and exciting than seeing the Yellow River.

This was my second visit to the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda. My first visit left a deep impression; the thousand-year-old pagoda, standing strong and unyielding, is truly magnificent. This time, I was driving back from northern Shanxi, taking the expressway from Shuozhou towards Datong, Hunyuan, and Yingxian. Since I had some time, I decided to stop by and not miss it, especially since none of my companions had been there before. However, the distance from the parking lot to the entrance was quite far, so we took an electric cart.

It's worth visiting. I went there when I was younger, but I lacked knowledge then. Now, the more I see, the more I appreciate it. The silver Buddha, dragon carvings, and murals are known as the "Three Wonders." The architecture blends Han and Tibetan styles, and the incense and ancient charm coexist. It's worth a thorough visit.
