There's a distance from the parking lot at the foot of the mountain to the shuttle bus station, passing through a short commercial street. After buying your ticket, it's recommended to take the bus to Hongye Shiyan Ancient Village. Starting your tour from there is best; the ancient village is lively and great for taking photos. After the ancient village, there's a steep flight of stairs to climb; those who aren't physically fit should not continue. At the Cloud Bridge, you can take a magic carpet to the Great Wall at the summit.

The former site of the Donglaisheng Silk and Cloth Shop during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty is a typical layout of a shop in front and a factory in the back. The well-preserved buildings have a history of nearly 200 years. The well-preserved two courtyards now show the prosperity of the dyeing workshop in the late Qing Dynasty.
