Reykjavik East
Although the room is small, it is very convenient to settle in. The password is used to enter and exit. The piggy supermarket is 150 meters away, and shopping is also very close. The breakfast is also good. It is not too far to go to the main street and the Pearl Tower.

Nice hotel. Very stylish exterior. The hotel is very conveniently located on the way from Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik. We stayed the day we arrived in Iceland and the last two days after traveling around the island before returning home. Good breakfast. It is very important that there is a restaurant that is open from 18:00 to 22:00, because in Iceland finding food after 17:00 is another challenge... Free parking. There is a supermarket nearby (500 meters on foot). The Airport-Reykjavik bus stop is also near the hotel (50 meters) for those who do not rent a car. Highly recommend if you are happy with the price of this hotel when booking! On the downside, the tap water smells like sulfur, but this is Iceland - a country of geothermal springs!)) P.S. the hotel has a free swimming pool with geothermal warm water + sauna for visitors. They work until 22:00.

The hotel staffs were very welcoming and hospitality. We feel really good when we arrived at the hotel and even during departure. Breakfast spread was small but great. We had a warm and nice breakkie. The room is very cosy. The bed was very soft and springy! The blanket was just nice, very warm and comfortable. How we wish we could bring home. Haha. The price was also worthwhile. ✌🏻

I can absolutely sympathise with people who struggle to get in and check in to this hotel. When you book through a 3rd party app, you do not receive your room number or entry code. The check-in process is then an adventure of trying to shout into a tablet near the front door, for a call that lasts maximum 2 minutes before it disconnects and you have to try again. The layout is… odd… to say the least, but if you follow the signs you can eventually end up at your room (if you find some of the doors that work, not all do). The maintenance person who broke into our room while we were out forgot to lock the door, so we were at risk of all of our things being stolen, which wasn’t ideal. The room itself was nice, location is good and as long as you don’t need anything, you are getting what you pay for.

It is three kilometers away from the city. Every time I am picked up from the hotel for a day trip, I am the first to get on the bus and the first to get off the bus on the return trip. This shows that the hotel is far away from the city. The equipment in the hotel room is very simple. In addition to the simple microwave oven in the triple room, you have to borrow a hot water kettle from the front desk. Also, as other guests mentioned, Ctrip does not provide any check-in information before check-in (opening the door and room). The same password). Fortunately, when I checked in, before the restaurant staff got off work (0700-2200), the restaurant staff asked me to enter my full name in English pinyin to get my exclusive door opening password. Otherwise, you have to call the phone at the gate and ask the counter staff far away! There are three supermarkets (one open 24 hours), KFC, Subway and the Icelandic version of McDonald's Metro near the hotel, as well as Chinese restaurants, if you don't mind eating a set meal for 15-20 US dollars!
Bus Hostel Reykjavik - Reykjavik Terminal

A good little hostel with the front staff being very friendly. This hostel is not at BSI bus station which is where fly bus airport transfers arrive and depart. It is a 15 minute walk from BSI bus station, but there are many tour buses that stop here. The kitchen and bathrooms were always very clean and you could see someone always mopping or cleaning. The room was very hot so pack light Pyjamas. Also there are no women only dorms!!! I thought I was booking a women only dormitory but men were in there too. One man had booked a man only dorm but obviously they don't have this either. The website and the trip.com descriptions clearly need udpating.

The hotel is very cozy, with sufficient heating and convenient shower room. The cathedral is just opposite, and it is very convenient to turn left and reach Rainbow Street. There is a kitchen on each floor, which is very convenient and solves my Chinese stomach! I will consider staying here next time I come to Iceland.

The experience is very good and very clean. There is a small kitchen with full kitchen utensils and even kitchen paper. There is no breakfast. Although the front desk is off work early, you can self-service key collection. The location is not easy to find. But there is a parking lot in the city center, but only a row at the door many

The front desk staff are very helpful, and the hotel can store luggage for free. The breakfast is also very good! The hot water becomes stable very quickly! The room was clean and quiet! It's also very close to the church! The location is great!

It's a very satisfactory hotel. The only bad thing is that the receptionist is a bit racist. It is said that we arrived at the hotel at 12 noon, and then we asked the front desk if we could enter the room early? She said we have to wait until 3 o'clock, and there is no room for us now. We accepted what she heard, and went out to have lunch. When we came back from lunch, we asked her again. It was already 2 o'clock, and she still said there was no room for us, so we would sit down. While waiting on the sofa there, there was a foreign couple who also came to stay, and she immediately gave them a room. My companion was very angry when she saw us. When she saw us, she was embarrassed and asked us to take the key and enter the room. I think this kind of service attitude really brings down the price of such a good hotel.
