The room is cozy and have everything needed but small. They have limited parking lot next to the hotel. We have to park at second car park because next to hotel one is full and parking fee JPY500. All the guests except kids have to pay hot spring tax no matter whether use the hot spring facility.

Very clean and helpful staff who helped to keep the luggage for 4 days until I re-check in from another place. Less than 5 mins walk to morning market and bus terminal and train station. Very delicious breakfast too. Free supper after 9pm.Good views from Lounge with free ice cream.Free coffee and tea at level one.

LOVE this place!!! Room is clean and spacious, the beddings ever so soft and comfortable. They fed us very well during our stay too!!! Love those little deco resembling the grass houses. So cute!! Look at the view we had at breakfast!!! All staff speak very good English, all extremely attentive and sweet. They give out free ramen and popsicles for late evening snacks and yogurt drinks around breakfast time too. Very pleasant stay I must say. Would definitely stay there again if I am in the area.

A family of 6 with 4 kids. We stayed in 2 rooms and they granted our request for rooms next to each other. Rooms were ok with working hot shower, towels, toothbrush and toiletries. Coffee and tea were also free. Japanese breakfast was a welcome surprise and we got to enjoy a snowy view of Takayama station while sipping freshly-brewed coffee. The hotel itself is old-ish and so are the facilities. There's a laundromat, massage chairs and a drugstore beside the hotel. There's also a Family Mart convenience store that's walking distance. It is directly across Takayama Station so it's in a very convenient location!

The hotel is ideally located, making it easy to access the stunning village and its famous thatched-roof houses.  What truly impressed me were the many free amenities offered, from the on-site hot springs to complimentary snacks and beverages. The breakfast was a highlight—delicious and plentiful, with a great selection of both local and international dishes. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting Shirakawago, I highly recommend Tabino Hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay!

The apartment is conveniently located near the train station, which provides easy access to public transportation. While the surrounding neighborhood is pleasantly quiet, it is still very convenient, with restaurants and other amenities within walking distance. The spacious balcony offers lovely views and is a wonderful feature, allowing you to enjoy the fresh air and scenery. Overall, this is an excellent value and I would highly recommend it based on the location, amenities, and beautiful balcony view.

Very convenient location located just opposite Nohi bus center. Close to many restaurants too. Stay here only for one night. As i need to catch morning bus, i choose this hotel exactly for its location.

The photo is taken at a wide angle, and the actual space is OK, but the window is next to the building next door, and the room is next to the elevator, so it is noisy. Considering the price, I really can't ask for too much, but if there are any flaws in the special offer room, I still hope it can be stated that it is up to the user to decide.

Everything is over expectation: services, facilities, room, public bath (onsen), food, and all. One drawback would be language barrier between some staff, but they really trying to communicate with us which is impressive. Also, there is a free shuttle bus service between train station and hotel during daytime, very convenient. Tips for me is to book this hotel on weekdays, it is half price cheaper than weekends or holidays.

It's a very beautiful, very comfortable and very new hotel. It's just that the location is too remote and there shouldn't be any restaurants around. Take the Nohi bus to the terminal. Although the journey takes about an hour and a half, it is definitely worth it! The hotel is right next to the cable car, so we went to play the cable car the next day. The top of the mountain was not cold, but the snow was thick. Adults and children had a lot of fun. The hotel is retro, one night and two meals, stayed for three nights, breakfast and dinner are not repeated, and the various methods of Hida Wagyu are really delicious! A small hot spring hotel. I really feel the hotel's care. Compared to more prosperous areas, I prefer this kind of remote small hotel. I feel that the hotel wants to do every place carefully. Although the price is cheap, there are many details. Everything is well done. For example, there is a self-service snack and drink area in the lobby, which is available 24 hours a day. The location is close to the station, the service staff is friendly, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. The room is not too small, the 29-inch suitcase can be opened, and the hot water pressure and temperature are sufficient. I stayed here on a solo trip. The front desk staff were very polite. The facilities are a little old, but I think it's worth the price. However, the noise from the hallway is a bit annoying. The hotel room is older and the bed is a bit hard, but the room is large and we can see Gifu Castle from the room we stayed in. What is worth recommending is that the hot springs are very good.
