3-Star Hotels in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan

It was one of the best views I ever had from a hotel room. Cleanliness was superb and good sound insulation. Located near the theme park and had free carpark for guests.

Our 2nd time staying here! Great location which is very near to Lawson and halal eatery nearby. Free shuttle provided from hotel to train station & vice versa. Bonus this time, got the room with Mt Fuji view! Definitely will be coming back here in near future! Keep up the good service 🤗

We used the payphone at the train station to call the resort and they arranged a pick up service for us. It arrived within 15 minutes of the call so we didn’t have to wait too long in the cold. It would be better if they could let us know about this arrangement in the booking confirmation. Driver who picked us up was a delight to meet! He was cheerful, coupled with his humorous mannerism, brightened up the otherwise gloomy journey amidst the cold. Location of the resort is quite far away. Although there was a 7-11 within 10 minutes of walking, the nearest shopping cluster was 20 minutes away, although this shopping cluster is quite a complete one with a full pharmacy, supermarket and plenty of food options, ranging from cheap to exquisite. The resort is 30 minutes walk (15 minutes drive) away from Kawaguchiko station. The location will be more convenient for travelers who drive. We woke up with a direct view of Fuji-San! Absolutely breath taking. Breakfast, served buffet-style was sumptuous with Japanese food. It filled us up and got us ready for the day. Upon check out, we realized we had to book the shuttle bus to the train station. We thought it would be readily available. This was not the case as the bus at the previous timings were full. This could have been made known to us upon check in. Also, the shuttle bus is actually a 7-seater car and not a bus. Maybe right-naming the vehicle is better as it will give travelers a better understanding the capacity of the transport.

Resort is very near to mt Fuji, the view from villa is stunning although not view from the room however backyard from the room is good enough. We had 2 nights stay and breakfast experience is awesome, dining with mt Fuji with all self cook experience. Dinner bbq prepared by glamping is good just pricey, we had dinner outside second night, there are Aeon mall and sport depo 1 km away maybe less, we walked over and return not very hassle for us. But without car you can’t be easy at mt Fuji. Overall I love this quality glamping. 1 more sharing my friends stayed PAO, it is wonderful, exactly camping experience but high end camping facilities. Activities area is natural, We all love it.

Easily accessible with fantastic view and onsen. Room and furniture is old. Suggest to renovate the rooms.

Location: Minutes away from Gem museum if you are taking the red line bus. It's located right beside the kawaguchi lake. Room: Very very big room enough to lay 5 futon if require. Furniture looks dated but functional and the room is kept very clean and tidy. Needs a physical key to access the room though. Has view of Kawaguchi lake and Mount Fuji by the window. That itself is already worth the money paid for. Food: Booked the room with Dinner and breakfast included and I would recommend anyone that books the place to do so as well, very sumptuous spread and delicious too. There is onsen within the hotel too with indoor and outdoor pool. Highly recommended for anyone considering a hotel in kawaguchi.

This is a hotel I will definitely recommend to everyone, and I want to bring my family to stay here! ! I haven't been so happy for a long time. The boss and the staff are super nice. They will drive to buy food for everyone and cook for everyone, and take everyone to see the sunrise. The hotel environment is also very good. You can see Mount Fuji when you look up, and there is a place to take a bath. Singing my favorite Teresa Teng and a bunch of Japanese songs from the Showa era with a group of strangers in the dining room is a memory I will never forget in my life😭 I really recommend everyone to come here, and it is very clean, and it is also good to sleep in a kimono! Just because the boss and the staff are so great and enthusiastic, I didn't plan to charter a car with my friends, but I couldn't help but charter a car for two days. It's really great. I have stayed in various hotels, including many five-star hotels. This is the first time I have stayed in a hotel and written a long review... In short, it is highly recommended

Catching up with the three consecutive holidays in Japan, the price of accommodation in Kawaguchiko has skyrocketed. After being recommended by netizens, I stayed in Otsuki, which is very cost-effective. First of all, Otsuki is located in the geographical location. It is an hour's drive from Kawaguchiko. You can buy a 3,000 yen pass for two days to take Fujikyu Railway to and from Kawaguchiko. Toyoko Inn is a few hundred meters away from the station, and there are many convenience stores near the station. Secondly, the hotel's services and facilities. Although you can only check in at 16:00, free lockers are provided, and checkin/out are self-service, so you don't have to worry about being too late. Then there is a large parking lot, coin-operated washing machines and dryers (although I didn't use these), and a buffet breakfast. Although it is not very delicious, it is at least free. The hotel is very clean, the room is spacious, and the scenery outside the window is also beautiful.

Conveniently located right behind Fujisan Station just under 5 minutes walk! Easy checkin and staff were very friendly. There’s a common kitchen and dining area with free tea and water. Snacks, canned drinks & instant noodles also available for purchase at a low cost! There’s also a piano in the dining area which is fun. Booked the room with the Mt Fuji view and it did not disappoint! It was also spacious for an average hotel in Japan. There are a lot of free amenities in the lobby area too like free pajamas, toothbrush, etc. not near any convenience store but the hotel’s purchasable snacks are handy. Sometimes there’s a food truck parked outside as well. Local eateries are around the area too so not a worry. Best part of the hotel was their rooftop terrace where you can get a picturesque view of Mount Fuji and even Fuji-Q Highland theme park!

My stay at Hotel Mifujien in Japan was absolutely delightful. The highlight was the stunning view of Mount Fuji from my room, which created a serene and unforgettable experience. The traditional Japanese-style room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and cultural authenticity. The onsen facilities were exceptional, providing a relaxing soak with breathtaking scenery. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. I highly recommend Hotel Mifujien for anyone seeking a peaceful and memorable getaway.

The hotel can’t see Mount Fuji but the view of Kawaguchiko lake is just so good. The breakfast provided is damm yummy, and a lot of choices. There is a traditional room of tatami style, is super comfortable. Just the only bad is the hotel location I felt like quite far from the station, and hard to get taxi during night time. The nearest restaurant from the hotel have some distance, I suggest to having dinner in the hotel will be more convenient.

This is by far the best hotel I've stayed in Japan. Hospitality, cleanliness and food were perfect. Best value for a all-inclusive onsen resort by the lake. Staff were friendly and attentive. From the time we arrived to the time we left, we felt welcomed and well taken care of during our stay. They received us from the carpark and got our baggage for us. When we left, they made sure to carry our luggage to the car. Rooms and the guest onsen were clean, big and spacious, with propery air-conditioning and heating. It also has a good view of mount Fuji from the room balcony (though unfortunately it was raining for the 2 days which I was there) The food was amazing as well, there were so many choices and we were left stuffed after both dinner and breakfast. Would highly recommend anyone this all inclusive hotel if you have the chance.

Another nice hotel we stayed in is here Hotel Route Inn. Everything was great. View frm our room is magnificient. And the best thing is they have a private onsen that u can use with a fee. And very affirdable too!! Every staff is so helpful and polite. 🥰

Had a really pleasant stay at Haostay. The first day we were unlucky, it was raining and didn’t get to see Fuji. 2nd day we were able to see it so clear from the top roof of the hotel!!

I really enjoy the stay at Lakeland Hotel ! The room is perfectly clean and the service is excellent. But we were kinda unlucky cus the weather was awful, couldn’t see Fuji at all. Pls book with meals, it’s totally worth it !

The room is large and the environment is beautiful. You can see Mount Fuji when you look up. It is close to Kawaguchiko Station and the bus station. The disadvantage is that it is difficult to get a taxi. It would be perfect if the hotel provided a pick-up service

We stayed one night and hired a driver for the trip. The view around there is beautiful, waking our just a few meters away there is a donki donki, where u can buy some things. And Walking along the street there are a few restaurants. Good point is we booked a family villa. There are two floor and two toilets. The bathroom is relatively small but ok for most Asian size. Hotel breakfast is just simple bread and cereal. So i would suggest to eat breakfast not in hotel. You can grab some food in hotel, but probably you will need to plan for another meal soon . But that’s totally not a problem at all as if you are travelling around the attractive places , you will easily find good food to fill your stomach . Overall this is a very great place to stay if you have own transport

The old building was renovated and ､ inside was beautiful and ､ clean room. There was a mistake and I couldn't confirm the reservation, but ､ I was able to stay somehow with a quick response. I think it is a good inn with human taste.

A fun glamping experience. I really think the cabins could benefit from management staying in them overnight from time to time - things like no hooks to hang things, dark and smoky vestibules outside the cabins, pots that don't work on induction heat etc. could be resolved. But overall a well-managed place in a nice location.
