GGuest User: The location couldn't be better. It's right across the street from the train station, and thanks to that, the convenience store access was also great. All subway lines are connected to the central station, so whether it was the exhibition hall, the airport, or deep into the old town, getting around was very convenient. The bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure and drainage were both fine. The air conditioning was a little bit of a letdown, but it wasn't a problem for use. Breakfast might get a bit tiresome if you stay for a long time, but there's a good variety, making it suitable for choosing what you like. The only minor drawback is that outside noise isn't completely blocked out.

GGuest User: The Hotel has exceptional connectivity provided by the tram line running directly next to the property. This proximity to the tram and S-Bahn station makes accessing major tourist attractions easy. The check-in process was easy and prompt, and the room was both clean and modern. The accommodation has a good balance between modern design and comfort. The shower was flawlessly clean and boasted an excellent water pressure. The bed was comfortable, well made and perfectly clean. Combined with the friendly service at the reception, and the daily housekeeping - the hotel delivered a solid experience for a competitive pricing, making it an ideal choice for staying in Nuremberg.

GGuest User: Not much to say. It can all be summarized to a very clean room, a decent location (walking distance from the old town) and as one of the nosiest hotels I've experienced in my life, you simply can't get any sleep. 100 euros/night for non stop noise are too much in my opinion.

AAnastasiia Kireeva: I stayed during the festival. Excellent hotel with breakfast. I would like to separately mention the receptionist who checks in at night, this is probably the only hotel with a 24-hour reception desk. A very friendly man, it is even interesting to just talk to him. After the festival, there was a small incident (after checkout), but he understood our situation, allowed us to sit in the lobby, poured tea, just chatted 🤗 the only thing was that there were not enough slippers in the hotel, otherwise there are no issues. The room is good, two bottles of water and two beers are free 😁 tea, coffee in the room, there is a balcony

芬芬芬的旅行日記: The hotel is large and the parking location is very convenient. However, the parking fee has increased to 12 euros, which is not the price written on the platform's website. The breakfast options are also very rich. It is a very German-style breakfast. There are many kinds of bread and sausages to choose from. It is worth staying. , the price is also very reasonable.

HHONGYAN: The breakfast was not bad. There was heating in the house in October. The equipment was very comfortable and very comfortable. We arrived at 9 o'clock in the evening. There was no parking on the roadside. The owner told us to park next to his car. There was no charge for moving the car in the morning. The side is not very neat, and the next day I drove out to know that the scenery was good.

GGuest User: I chose this hotel because it is close to the exhibition hall and convenient for travel. When we went there, it happened to be snowing in January, and the snow scene in the small park nearby was very beautiful. But the biggest problem with the youth hostel is that it is a public bathroom. The room does not have a separate toilet. It is very unaccustomed to go to the public bathroom on each floor. Boys may be convenient. Girls feel a bit inconvenient. But because other hotels are too expensive at the exhibition time, of course, his hotel is actually very expensive (two or three times more expensive than usual), but there is no other choice. Traveling is also convenient, walking to Messe subway station is only a few minutes. It is completely self-service. There are people at the front desk during the day. There is no receptionist at night, but there are guidelines to teach you how to do it. There is also no elevator in the hotel, so you have to carry your luggage! A total of about three to four floors high. Then you will not enter the room to help you do sanitation for a few days in the middle of your stay (if you want someone to go in to do sanitation, you will have to charge separately), don't think about the hotel you live in in peace, this is a youth hotel, many are self-service.

There is a supermarket nearby, about 200 meters, and it is very convenient to buy some essential supplies.

Weniger schaukeln beim Umdrehen :-) Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut. 1A Empfehlung, um die Innenstadt fußläufig zu besichtigen.

When it comes to the time of year that makes Europe especially enchanting, it is undoubtedly the Christmas season. The entire continent comes alive with twinkling lights, towering Christmas trees, beautifully decorated homes, and open-air markets filled with the aroma of freshly baked treats and warm drinks. The atmosphere feels like stepping into a fairy tale, making Christmas markets a "must-try" experience for every travel lover. 🇦🇹 Vienna and Salzburg, Austria — Austria’s Christmas markets are renowned for their classic architectural backdrops and incredibly romantic vibes. The market in front of Vienna's City Hall (Rathausplatz) is a major highlight. Meanwhile, Salzburg offers a unique charm with its Old Town surrounded by mountains and fortresses—perfect for wandering through the market with a warm drink in hand during the chilly weather. 🇫🇷 Strasbourg and Colmar, France — These two towns in the Alsace region are famous for their colorful half-timbered houses, cobblestone streets, and spectacular light displays. Strasbourg hosts one of the largest and most vibrant markets, while Colmar feels like a storybook village—ideal for strolling, photography, and sampling local treats like "bredele." 🇩🇪 Nuremberg, Germany — Home to one of Germany’s most traditional and famous Christmas markets. It is filled with wooden stalls selling ornaments, gifts, and seasonal delicacies. Must-tries include the "Nürnberger Rostbratwurst" (local grilled sausages) and "Lebkuchen," the city’s signature gingerbread. 🇨🇿 Prague, Czechia — The Christmas market at Old Town Square is surrounded by historic architecture and stunning Gothic churches. In the evening, the lights transform the city into something truly magical. Beyond the market, you can easily visit Charles Bridge and Prague Castle in a single trip. 🇭🇺 Budapest, Hungary — The market in front of St. Stephen’s Basilica stands out with its festive lights and central atmosphere. Be sure to try "Kürtőskalács" (Chimney Cake)—a cylinder-shaped pastry coated in sugar—before taking a night walk to see the beautiful Danube River and the Parliament building. 🇪🇪 Tallinn, Estonia — A destination with a charm all its own. The Christmas market in the Old Town Square is surrounded by medieval buildings and stone streets. The Northern European winter vibe makes it perfect for those wanting to experience Christmas in a city that feels frozen in time. 🇩🇪 Dresden, Germany — Striezelmarkt 🎄 One of Germany’s oldest and most famous markets, known for its traditional wooden stalls, artisanal crafts, and the iconic "Dresdner Christstollen"—a dried fruit bread dusted with powdered sugar. It’s perfect for those seeking a truly traditional German Christmas experience. 🇧🇪 Brussels, Belgium — Winter Wonders ✨ A winter festival in the heart of Brussels featuring Christmas markets, light displays, performances, and numerous food stalls. The highlight is the atmosphere around the Grand Place, which is exceptionally beautiful at night. Don’t miss the Belgian waffles, chocolates, and local fries—a perfect way to end a festive European trip. 💶 How to Plan Your Budget and Route for the Best Value? For food and drinks at the markets, budget around €10–€25 per person per visit. Actual costs depend on the city and vendor, and this doesn't include flights, hotels, or intercity travel. For multi-city trips, consider routes like Vienna → Salzburg → Prague → Nuremberg or Strasbourg → Colmar for easier logistics. Always check train schedules and market opening dates before booking; some close on Christmas Eve, while others stay open until early January. 🎅🏻 Christmas Markets are more than just shopping destinations; they are a cultural experience blending food and the magic of a European winter. If you're planning a trip for late 2026, choose a city that fits your travel style and experience the magic for yourself. If you could pick just one, which Christmas market would you visit most—Vienna, Strasbourg, Prague, or Tallinn? 🎄✨

#AutumnTravel Visiting Nuremberg, Germany during the fall semester was a truly wonderful experience. The historic city captivates with its ancient architecture and the warm colors of the surrounding trees add a special charm. I enjoyed wandering around the old town with its cobblestone streets and historic buildings. Visiting the Nuremberg Castle was a special moment that offered a great view of the city. I tried local cuisine at a traditional restaurant, and the 'Nuremberg sausage' dish was delicious, reflecting the local flavor. The atmosphere of the café was warm and friendly, which made me feel comfortable. Nuremberg in the fall is a fascinating combination of history and natural beauty, making it an ideal travel destination to discover and enjoy. 🏰🌳
![[Karl August, Nuremberg] Karl August Modern Boutique Hotel. — traveler post in Nuremberg](https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/1mi4012000fym0yxs15B3_C_480_270_R5.jpg_.webp?proc=source/trip)
The boutique hotel "Karl August" in the old city of Nuremberg, Germany, is officially known as Karl August - a neighborhood hotel. It opened three years ago and, together with the adjacent art gallery, forms a community-integrated neighborhood by the river. The public area and even the small desserts in the rooms all emphasize social attributes. The hotel is designed in a minimalist industrial style with black and cement colors, which is my favorite style. In addition, the contrast between the old cadre style of Sheraton and Karl August is obvious. The public area is developed around two purposes. The spacious lobby has a large sofa area, and a restaurant and a café connected to it form a warm and open public area, taking care of different groups of people who like socializing or quietness. I will write another note about the restaurant. There is a gym, swimming pool, and sauna on the 4th floor. Although the hotel is small, it is fully equipped. The skylight on the roof creates not only a light atmosphere but also a good view. The hotel has two popular check-in points. One is next to the window by the gym, overlooking the entire neighborhood, and the other is on the sun lounger by the pool, looking up at the castle on the mountain. Room selection tips: I stayed in two different room types this time, including a superior double room and a deluxe suite with a terrace. Neither of them has a bathtub. The suite has a kitchen, coffee machine, and tea bags. The suite has a terrace by the river, and the view is good. The room area is not much different, and the price difference is not big, so it is recommended to choose the suite first. For environmental protection reasons, toothbrushes and slippers are not provided in the room, but they can be obtained at the front desk. However, body lotion needs to be purchased separately. It is the same brand of skincare products as the aromatherapy shop downstairs.

Nuremberg was our next stop after Berlin! In fact, in the Middle Ages, the city was the unofficial capital of the Roman Empire, and later, party rallies were held here (Hitler's favorite city, apparently...) Now it's the second largest city in Bavaria, after Munich. It's home to numerous universities, a well-developed IT industry, and people from all over the world move here or to neighboring cities! And for us tourists, this is a legitimate trip back to the Middle Ages! What's a must-see here? 🏰 Sebalder Altstadt - the medieval center ✏️Kaiserburg The main viewpoint, the imperial castle and views of the entire city ✏️Dürer House Museum Artist's House ✏️Weißgerbergasse, a pedestrian street with gingerbread houses ✏️Churches: Sebalduskirche, Pfarramt St. Lorenz, Frauenkirche ✏️And of course, the medieval bridges: Museumsbrücke, Henkersteg, and Kettensteg ✏️Another less popular museum worth visiting, if only for the building itself, half-destroyed during World War II 🏰 Lorenzer Altstadt - the city's shopping center ✏️Lorenzkirche A huge Gothic church ✏️Handwerkerhof Craftsmen's Quarter ✏️The main street, Königstraße ✏️Some incredible fountain, the Seven Sins ✏️And several museums: Germanisches Nationalmuseum, Neues Museum 🏰 The former industrial quarter of Gostenhof with vintage shops, small galleries, and cafes 🏰 The quiet and green Nuremberg St. Johannis And another interesting thing, something I didn't find when planning my trip: 🏰 Red Light District Yeah, guess what, it's here too; a friend who lives here showed us! And what can I say? In Amsterdam, the Red Light District is already a tourist attraction. A billion people flock to these canals, and there are signs prohibiting photography. There are very few girls, and many windows simply have "rent" signs. And then, the atmosphere is completely different... the street is completely empty, only strange people wandering around, peering in the windows, and no tourists. But almost every window is lit up, and there are girls standing in it, meaning all the red windows are open! (Maybe girls from Amsterdam moved here...?) It was also scary to walk down the street, let alone take photos, even though there were no fine signs... *More locations in Nuremberg can be found on TGC Sasha, where are you 🌍 #germany #europe #locations

Scarlett isThe Nuremberg Trials were dozens of military trials conducted by the victorious powers of World War II against the military, political and economic leaders of the European Axis Powers from November 21, 1945 to October 1, 1946. There were also a series of subsequent Nuremberg trials from 1946 to 1949. In the Nuremberg trial hall, there is a tunnel directly connected to the prison. Today, the trial hall of that year is preserved here, and there are also related exhibitions introducing the historical details of the trial.
rainNuremberg is also a very important historical monument of Nazi Germany. This gathering place has a strong World War II atmosphere. It is also a very memorable thing in Germany during World War II. The buildings still retain very ancient architecture.
