Adorable animals at Beijing Wildlife Park welcome visitors and add to the fun

Adorable animals at Beijing Wildlife Park welcome visitors and add to the fun

󰺂8.0
As fall deepens at Beijing Wildlife Park, the animals are lazily and comfortably enjoying the autumn days. During this perfect season, the park has welcomed several "new friends." The pig-tailed macaque, with a swirl of hair on its head resembling a "spiral potato," is a master of expressions and a true "comedian of the monkey world." The red-backed bearded saki monkey, with its peculiar appearance, seems to have a divine glow, and its unconventional looks grow more captivating the more you see it. The two-month-old two-toed sloth baby is a super cute "little pendant" clinging to its mother. There are also twin red pandas, a boy and a girl, who just turned 100 days old and are off-the-charts adorable. The baby South American tapir, whose parents are as black as coal, sports a striped coat, creating a cute contrast in appearance. They are waiting for you in the Fun Park on the north route of the walking tour area, the Red Panda Garden, and the South American Tapir Exhibit on the south route. Come and see them

Ancient Trees and Golden-Red Leaves at Fragrant Hills Park

Ancient Trees and Golden-Red Leaves at Fragrant Hills Park

󰺂6.8
Xiangshan Park can be considered the originator of maple viewing in China. Its red leaves are famous both at home and abroad, and it is also one of the four major maple viewing spots in the country. Every fall at Beijing's Xiangshan Park, the smoke tree leaves all over the mountains turn as red as fire, and after the frost, they turn a deep purplish-red. These smoke trees were planted during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. After more than 200 years of growth, they have gradually formed a forest area with 94,000 smoke trees. Looking out, the distant mountains and nearby slopes are a tapestry of bright red, pink, scarlet, and peach, with distinct layers. In the rustling fall wind, it's as if red clouds are surging over, making the whole mountain seem to sway. With pine and cypress trees dotted in between, the mix of red and green creates a magnificent and splendid scene.
