Hotel is located right at the back door of Bochumer main railway station. Unfortunately not the best area with many homeless. The hotel itself has come in the years rather, but clean. The staff are very friendly.

Hygien, room, bed, quietness everything was great except that I got this problem with the receptionists. So I did explain to all the receptionist (that I saw-because I understand they work in shifts) that I lost 2 luggages due to the airline's mistake and airline will send them to this hostel where I would be staying (for 1 night only). I explained that if someone sent luggages here, please tell me asap because I needed to catch a train to Amsterdam the nextday noon. Imagine 35kg of personal belongs just dissapeared, I didnt have toothbrush, clean clothings.... I reminded them everything 3-4 hours when I saw a receptionist. After almost 27 hours of waiting in worry (which made me cannot enjoy the city), I talked to one receptionist to please check 1 more time becauze the airlines mailed me that they did send to the hostel at 4:30pm in the day I checked-in hostel, (only 4-5 hours after my flight time), she let me go it the luggage room and my luggages were there the whole time! So I waited in pain for 22 hours for nothing. I think it would be a bit obvious when 1 guy in delivery company uniform went in with 2 luggages and said ”this is from one of your customer.” But the receptionist just forgot it quickly and didnt tell me. I had to change a lot of my plan and I was feeling terible and stressful with the waiting and fear of lost luggages. Beside that, the condition of rooms, facilities, warm water, sound proof windows were great.

It's very large and has plenty of facilities such as a dining area, ATM, and coin laundry. The room was fairly clean and the toilet seemed new. The problem is that there are no food restaurants around.

I didn't want to change it for the weekend because I had to take the train here on Monday, so I stayed one more night. It is very convenient to the train station. There is a big square in front, with many blacks or Turks. I was a little worried about the danger, but the front desk said it was safe. No problem

Clean hotel with reception and self-checking. The hotel is located just outside the city centre, but can be reached on foot. The two bed rooms with windows and toilet/douche were located on the railway line, but still very quiet at closed windows. Breakfast had not been booked.

One of the most unique accomodation’s I’ve ever stayed at. I did not know what to expect but had been eyeing the BaseCamp on previous trips to Bonn. This time I tried it and will come back for sure! Everything is very clean, the old train wagon and trailers in good shape and the breakfast a good buffet selection (including vegan and vegetarian options).

 Friends who plan to stay at this hotel, please have to take a look at my message This hotel is similar to the design of a youth hostel, and the door on each floor is opened with a key.  but............ At night, someone will block the door with a towel to facilitate other people's access, so strangers will not stop on the floor. They probably booked a bed, took the key, and then blocked the door with a towel to let other parties come in for a shower and food! We live on the first floor, 10 points scary! First of all, he is a public toilet. There is a large window in the toilet that is open. The probe is a platform. The size of that window can allow someone to climb in, so we found that there is a sleeper eating instant noodles and coughing in the toilet.  Then found that the door was blocked by a towel, and there were suspected sleepers or ** people entering and leaving your floor. When you walked to the back of the floor, you found an escape exit, but the door of that exit was also long open! Really do not recommend you to try, especially female friends! Feeling 10 points dangerous. But I have to say that the boss is 10 points friendly and the location is 10 points convenient.

Great youth hostel! The facilities are very new and very clean! There are many places to read and rest in the lobby, and the front desk service is very good! The bed is semi-closed and will not be disturbed. Convenient transportation, there is McDonald's next to it. Thank you!

Use as transitional accommodation before the semester & lease commence. Serves its functions based on my standard. Close to Aachen main train station, not very noisy if windows are closed. Elevators are the most traditional one, but just like other a&o's settings.
