Villas in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan

We experienced a water outage, but the staff were very responsive and even refunded us. You can buy Japanese ingredients to cook at home, and they provide pots and pans, which was awesome.

I suppose this Villa are not for foreign visitors. The check in counter can only be reached by making local calls. Since I have got only a data SIM card. I have to wait until another guess only the door. The check in procedure is not complicated, but took around 30 minutes.

The facilities were new and clean and the children were happy. The fixtures were also color 々. The dining room had the smell of Yakiniku from the one we used before, but the dining room and living room were partitioned so I could spend it without worrying so much. The bed was large, the air conditioner was comfortable and I rested slowly. It was also interesting to be able to try products that are not in my house. I would like to use it again.

The place is huge, able to fit at least 5 pax. It split up the shower into dry and wet area. The toilet bowl is also in a separate room. We cooked at this place as it has all the necessary wares. You could also rent the barbecue set for a price. When we are there it came with 4 ticket to the public onsen just beside the cottage. The only cons in my opinion is you should probably drive to the place.

The hotel is nestled in a more rural part of Kawaguchiko, with Mount Fuji visible right from its doorstep. Lake Kawaguchiko is just a 5-minute walk away. May tends to be a rainy month for Mount Fuji, but we were lucky to arrive at the hotel in the afternoon to good weather, allowing us to enjoy the stunning reflection of Mount Fuji on the lake. The hotel owner speaks fluent English and was very welcoming. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable. The second floor houses the bedrooms, featuring both Western-style beds and traditional tatami areas, while the first floor serves as the main living space. The hotel has several resident cats, which the children absolutely loved. The only drawback was the lack of dinner options nearby once it got late. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we could still book a taxi via DiDi even after 9 PM. For such a remote location, this app is incredibly impressive!

As mentioned in other reviews, the owner is warm and thoughtful. Since the house is not in the first row, you can't see much scenery. Fortunately, this villa is very close to the Kawaguchiko Scenic Area, and it takes only ten minutes to walk there. We also have the owner to pick us up and drop us off at the station. The service attitude is nothing to say, especially the owner's fluent English, which is convenient for communication. There is air conditioning and floor heating at the entrance of the first floor, and the air conditioning on the second floor is also sufficient. Then the owner introduced everything in the villa very carefully, and I like this feeling. There are four single beds on the second floor, and there is a sofa that can be turned into a bed on the first floor, so 6 people can live. The wonderful thing is that we came here to take pictures of Mount Fuji and the spark conference. The weather was good on the day we arrived. The next morning, we found that there was already a thick snow outside. The experience was wonderful. Since we only stayed for one night, we didn't have a deep experience, and we didn't go to the supermarket to buy ingredients for cooking. Dinner was freshly cooked udon noodles on a small food truck nearby, which tasted pretty good. Finally, I would like to mention the bathtub on the second floor, which is very comfortable, and there are changing lights to add to the fun. In general, I am very satisfied. I didn't take any photos of the interior. The last photo of the fireworks at Lake Kawaguchi was really amazing. The fireworks lasted for 20 minutes without stopping, and they were set off at three locations at the same time. It is a good villa worth recommending.

The decoration of the room is light luxury style, very comfortable, four rooms on the second floor, each room has a single bed, a double bed, and tatami on the first floor. The dishes we bought in the supermarket are heated and eaten very affordable and comfortable. The only suggestion to the landlord, can you prepare a few bicycles? Convenient to go around.

Interesting experience. Standard room not so big but great views to my Fuji.

I chose this place in Lake Kawaguchiko area as it was more affordable than hotels and it could fit my family of 5. The house could stay up to 7 though the bedrooms were smaller than expected. There is not much space to open luggages in the bedroom if staying at full capacity. There are 2 bathrooms though only one with sink and toilet. Bedrooms are on level 1 while the kitchen and living area were on level 2. Netflix was a plus since there was not much to do in the area at night. Overall a good stay!
