During our stay in a standard room, we had modest expectations based on the price point. Unfortunately, the room did not meet even those expectations. Here are some specific issues we encountered: 1. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a restful night's sleep. 2. The bathroom exhaust fan was not functioning correctly. 3. The furniture was uneven, and the TV was mounted in a way that caused it to bend on one side. 4. The air quality in the room felt heavy, and we could only open the window slightly. Overall, these factors contributed to a disappointing experience in the standard room.

Lovely location, (pretty village) lovely grounds and impressive entrance. However, we weren’t in the main hotel. The room was large but old fashioned. The roof sloped at the sides which we banged our heads on several times. The window was small which made it stuffy and it was very dark, no main light in the bedroom only lamps. Bed was king size and comfortable. The room and bathroom was clean. We used the restaurant once for dinner and we had 2 breakfasts and the food was nice and reasonable priced. Breakfast was self service (as ours was included) with a good and plentiful variety. The staff were friendly and helpful but professional. We didn’t use the pool in the end as it meant going outside and back inside, as our room was not connected to a covered route to the pool. Nothing really to complain about but we did expect the room to be a bit more luxurious. Slightly overpriced for the room. I expect the price was based on the available amenities.

I have used this place a few times for groups. This time they really fell short. There is no one in charge. Very difficult to speak to a manager. Issues with the restaurant. Short staffed. Food was too salty. Soya sauce based dishes were not edible. No one asked when sent back unfinished if there was an issue. Only robots delivering food and very inexperience staff. Couldn't order more drinks in good time. Breakfast is buffet and is very basic. Ok. It is clean. However, for £250 a room I think that it is overpriced. Thank goodness for Trip.com much better rate 2 days before the event. Baths do not drain. Taps and fittings are loose or not finished properly. Poor customer service overall, despite having 5 rooms in our group and dinner for 10. Said they would call me back. Which they have not. That was after speaking to a man who said that he was not the manager, had only worked there for 8 weeks, yet told me that I was not familiar with the service industries! Such a shame. Will have to find somewhere else next time. Not a hint of a smile or an apology or anything to say that he would feed back. 🤷

Wasn't actually able to stay at the hotel sdue to an error in their system. The hotel were accommodating to try and get is booked in on 3 extra dates but unsuccessful. Refused a refund on the issue. Can't say alot more other than a shame we were unstable to stay.

Throughly enjoyed our stay here, staff were very friendly, room was clean and the bed was so comfy, had the best nights sleep would highly recommend

The room was a little musty, like someone had smoked in there, I asked for a key to open the window, I had to go down and fetch this myself (it was 1am) and the window still did not open. Nice drinks tray, with nice biscuits and twinnings tea! Heater in the room works well. Definitely in real need of refurbishing!!. Breakfast was like entering a different hotel, attentive and friendly staff, no stale smell, food was fresh and had a good selection. Coffee was nice.

The casa is a very nice hotel to stay in. Check in quick and efficient and courteous staff as always. Plenty of parking spaces on site. Room has air conditioning and a good bath room with power shower. Tea and coffee available with a mini fridge for milk and water included. We had booked breakfast but completely forgot breakfast finished at 9am on a monday. I'm hoping that maybe next time we may be able to use this feature. Though to be fair we should have ordered to the room the night before for a small £5. A enjoyable stay nothing more to add.

The location of the hotel is very easy to find in the center of the town, and the internal environment is also good. Compared with many hotels built in old houses, the interior is very spacious. I chose the smallest loft room for one person, which is equivalent to a single room, but in fact, the loft also has other larger room types, so I don't have to be afraid of the loft. The facilities are new and easy to use, the bathroom water is particularly large and the bed is comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is semi-self-service and the environment is elegant and the food is fresh. Although the rooftop pool is small, it is not wrong. When people are few, the experience is better. The spa area is large underground. There are many rooms with various functions. It is a bit like the domestic bath center. The temperature of the pool is not very high, but it is not cold. The temperature of the spa pool in the room is OK. But not too high. The hot springs and breakfast are very convenient in the room rate, and the spa and pool are also used casually during the stay, which is very comfortable.
