I had an excellent stay at Island Bliss. I was there for only one night, during a 19-hour layover in Ponta Delgada. The dorm room I stayed in was super comfortable, each bed having a lamp, 2 outlets, and a towel free of charge (which most places don't offer without a fee). The bathrooms were very clean and comfortable, with a nice shower and plenty of room. Everything was very smooth. Self check-in is excellent and very convenient, especially since I was arriving late at night. I didn't end up using the kitchen, but it seemed well-organized and clean as I passed through it. After checking out, I was able to stay in the main seating area and download some shows for the plane, which was very nice of the owner. I should clarify that I stayed here in the off-season, which might be why I was allowed to stay after my check-out. I didn't have much time to explore Ponta Delgada, but it seemed to be a good spot, near several restaurants and botanical gardens. I would easily recommend this place to travelers, one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at!

A little bit far from the sea but near shopping mall with big supermarket. Room and toilet are nice and clean. Free breakfast is a plus with basic bread, ham, cheese, cereal, milk, coffee, hot chocolate and sometimes fruit. Very nice and spacious common room. No kitchen facilities is the only downside provided the expensive food options in Ponta Delgada.

Excelente experiencia en Ponta Delgada. Pedro, Susana y las chicas que preparan el desayuno te tratan de manera excepcional. El hotel es muy limpio, las camas super comodas y todos las instalaciones modernas. Recomendamos fuertemente este lugar. Volveremos sin dudas! Esta ubicado en el lugar mas céntrico de todos y no deja de ser silencioso.
