It's super big room though this is 12 occupants but still very huge room, I stayed at room 19 , old yet clean and big kitchen and big common area. I love the high chair and best of the best the coffee even without breakfast they provide free coffee with milk, tea clean dishes and utensils. So close to all landmarks and attractions. I love also the staffs they are helpful and very accommodating. There's a storage room as well for your staffs. Highly recommended this hostel and value of money. Higher my expectations. Thank you so much till I will visit Leon.
The installation of the fatal pool: disregarded grass, broken hams, broken summers and unleash, the showers were not working nor gunna of the 4th. The room was not delivered until 18:30 because it was unprepared. 30 minutes waiting for us to have so the doors of the parking at night because the receptionist had to do more functions. Excellent location. The cleaning is good. Kitchen is good. staff care very good. Room is good. The air conditioning was going to rats. A considerable difference from last year to this. As it is now overstairs. It is lacking staff.
Overall very satisfied, the beds are comfortable, the heating is stable, the bathroom is clean and spacious. Exceeding expectations, the service is friendly, and the front desk and bar staff are very warm.
After explicitly asking for a wedding bed, they delivered a room with twin beds. The breakfast was OK, 2.6 it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good or excellent either (something you expect from a 4* hotel) although it had variety. Despite not having eaten at the hotel restaurant, the experience was not the best. After my wife and I sat down at the table (affordably priced and expected to be a hotel restaurant) the waitress took 3 dishes to the other tables. as the 3 dishes returned to the kitchen. After seeing the constant mistakes made by the kitchen, I didn't have the courage or confidence to order anything from the menu.
As for the Spa: a very high price for a 1H:15M tour. Better to include it in the hotel night package. Apart from the price, the conditions and condition of the space were fine, only the Turkish bath must have had some kind of fault, because the temperature was quite lower than it should have been (around 47ºC). Would you come back? Yes, I think it wasn't the best time due to the receptions and graduation events that were at the hotel, imagine that the workers were trying their best to try to please everyone who was staying or spending time with their family. Furthermore, it is in a quiet place and just a few minutes from Salamanca. Next to the Hotel there is a park close to the Tormes River, which unfortunately due to the bad weather we were unable to enjoy.
Amazing historical hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff will make you feel home. Thank you very much to Eva, Nico and the rest of the staff for being helpful during our first stay in Salamanca. Hotel location, breakfast buffet are great. Will be back soon.
Clean hotel, with all necessary in the bathroom: towels, tape, gel/champo, and disposable glasses.
The hotel is very comfortable, and the kitchens are a small pelin, which is already tasteful for each, clean and soft soaps.
The hotel offers a nice and comfortable room for the hotel.
A spacious room and a wide and comfortable box.
I stayed in a room with a wedding bed

A very big problem: ants will enter the hotel room. We lived on the first floor (actually on the second floor). We saw a lot of ants on the table and bed in the early morning. The next day, there were ants on the clothes in the closet. I felt uncomfortable all over.

Very Good
Firstly this hotel is fabulous because of its location on a hill. Potentially you would need transport if you intend on going into Segovia (taxis are few and far between) Segovia centre is definitely worth a trip. The views from the hotel are breathtaking day and night. We walked into Segovia centre it takes about 50 miles and it's about 3.5 miles one way. The Staff are extremely friendly and some speak very good English. It's a hidden gem. The Pool area is well maintained with a life guard. Sun loungers and static parasols readily available. We were on a half board basis and I truly recommend it. The breakfast had ample choice and cooked was available at an additional charge. Even dinner was exceptional I can highly recommend the salmon the hake and the tuna salad as well as the chocolate pud. I didn't find the local spirits / drinks or wine and beer overly expensive. We stayed for 2 nights but I could easily have stayed a few days longer to totally relax. The Weather was extremely hot during our stay 33 degrees and we had the most wonderful downpour of rain whilst sipping wine on the terrace of which there are a few but not all open because it's early in the season. My only issue was dinner at 9pm for us it was a little late. Remember to reserve a table as the check-in desk doesn't seem to tell guests who are checking in. However you could have bought lunch from 1.30pm cafe/bar area or paid for a reservation at the restaurant. The Pool area provide towels but you must have the (towel card) with you to collect these from the pool attendant the card is provided by hotel reception.
This hotel is in a beautiful and quiet area in Valle de Sedano, near a waterfall. The hotel itself is quaint and rustic. The staff are very nice and friendly. The younger staff, the young men, speak English, which is really appreciated as it’s not always the case in Spain, and not all of us speak Spanish. The room we were given was a bit smaller than the photos, but still comfortable. The ceilings are low on the top floors, so watch your head. The only thing I can say negative about this hotel is that there is no parking possible nearby as it it up on a hill with very narrow uphill streets to get there. You have to leave your car at the bottom of the hill outside the village and climb up by foot to the top. Yes, their website stipulates this but not on the Trip.com website. As my husband is a civil handicapped person, we were exceptionally able to arrange to leave our car near the hotel for our short stay, but it was REALLY exceptional. If you are handicapped or mobility reduced, you shouldn’t stay there, unfortunately. Anyway, the drive up to and down from the hotel on those unbelievably narrow maze of streets is really too stressful. I don’t recommend it. But if you are otherwise young and fit, I highly recommend it. It’s peaceful, beautiful, amazing scenery, good food and friendly staff.
Urban hotel, next to the most important pedestrian street in the city, in the center. And close to an area where you can eat the famous pinchos morunos, patatas mixtas and other typical tapas. On the ground floor there is a café and restaurant where breakfast is served for a separate price. Perfect attention from the people at reception, clean and tidy room, comfortable mattress. It includes a smart TV, a small refrigerator, a desk with a kettle, infusions and coffee sachets. Classic bathroom from the 90s, all marble, bathtub and bidet. Only one major complaint, this hotel cannot be four star today, maybe in the 80s/90s. Punched card to enter the room, errors in the flooring and a blind unworthy of a 4-star hotel. Yes, the price is on par with those 4 stars. The fault is not with the workers who were perfect, it is with the business group that runs the hotel, because with two stars it would be a more realistic category
Very fancy hotel. This is a stunning hotel in the heart of Burgos, opposite of the incredible cathedral. The breakfast area looks like it's a former church. Absolutely beautiful! The good: - Spacious room. - Dogs welcome. -Organic (and delicious) coffee and tea in the room (Nespresso capsules). -Breakfast very rich and a lot of choices. -Underground parking at 20€/night. The bad: -35€ for the dogs per night, might be the most expensive I've ever paid for them. -I had an unpleasant experience with the man working at the breakfast area. He came up to my table and spoke fast and a lot. I understand some Spanish but it was too much. He saw that I didn't understand and said “no comprende” and left. Very rude! By observing the other tables I understood that he was asking if I wanted to order something from the kitchenand listed all the different options. It would have been nice to do that!
Very welcoming staff, bedroom was clean and sofa bed was prepared for my son to sleep in. Good location with easy access by car and parking was available.
There is plenty of car parking spaces on the hotel grounds. The staff were friendly, helpful and could speak very good English which was very used as we do not speak Spanish! The hotel is a beautiful old building which had been modernised with consideration. Our room was extremely clean with a comfortable bed. The shower was adequate for our one night stay. The TV only had a news channel availing English, and the TV was an older style so we could not plug in any additional technology. We ate dinner in the restaurant as it would have been too long a walk in the rain. The food was reasonable and the house wine was very good. The cost of the meal though was very over priced. I would stay here again but maybe not have a meal in the restaurant due only to the price. The restaurant staff were lovely.
GGuest UserLocTion is fine. Sadly the hotel was not really up to a 3 star standard. Room was small, beds comfy enough but very noisy with squeaks every time you moved. Room didnt look like picture advertised. Out of window was a large extraction flume that covered any view of reat hotel. Generally the room was noisy from outside passers-by and cleaners in the am. The hotel is part of the nest door hostel so not sure if we were put in that sort of room or they all are like this. I have stayed in better hostel rooms. Laundry service not provided but you can use the hostels machines.
Room was generally tired with fixtures around light switches hanging off and yellow water stains in bath tub.
The Good: · Unbeatable Atmosphere & History: This is the star of the show. Staying in a thoughtfully restored 13th-century convent is an experience you won't find anywhere else. The serene cloister garden, the ancient stone walls, and the overall tranquility are magical. It feels a world away from the bustle, yet you're close to everything. · Friendly & Helpful Staff: The team at reception was wonderful – welcoming, professional, and full of great tips for local restaurants (ask for their hidden gems!). · Good Value: For the unique experience and location, we found the pricing to be very reasonable compared to other central hotels.
The room was lovely, clean, historical looking with a nice large bath tub. But there is no hot water kettle in the room. The facility itself is quite austere. There is a large covered courtyard for the restaurant. Beware following Apple Maps to get there - it will take you to the wrong place, and even Google struggles. Grateful for the underground parking, even if extra cost. The location is perfect, right next to the Cathedral.
