"We visited during Obon Festival, so hotels across Japan were pricier than usual. This hotel was perfectly situated close to Nagashima Spa Land, and getting there was easy with a direct bus from Kuwana. They offer complimentary coffee and snacks, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the entire place is spotlessly clean. A huge bonus, especially since we were traveling with two kids, was the availability of a triple room – something quite rare to find in Japan, especially during peak season."

The rooms were beautifully maintained, combining traditional Japanese elements with contemporary comfort. One of the highlights was definitely the Pearl Aurora Onsen, which was incredibly relaxing and left my skin feeling amazingly smooth. The complimentary welcome tea and cheesecake, along with the evening marshmallow roasting by the lobby, were thoughtful touches that made the stay feel extra special. Both dinner and breakfast exceeded expectations. Every course was beautifully presented, featuring fresh local ingredients and refined flavours that made each meal feel like a special occasion. Dining in a peaceful, private setting made the experience even more memorable. The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle service from Toba Station, making it easy to reach despite its tranquil location. Overall, Shiojitei perfectly balances traditional Japanese hospitality, excellent cuisine, and a relaxing atmosphere. It was one of the most memorable stays of my trip, and I would gladly return on my next visit to the Ise-Shima region."

"A very traditional Japanese-style onsen hotel located in Yunoyama Onsen Town. The entire onsen town is quite deserted, seemingly fallen into disrepair. The hotel itself is very nice, and the food is also excellent. The onsen itself is average. The evening dessert buffet was a pleasant surprise; the variety and taste were all superb. Overall, a very good experience."

"The location is fantastic! The only downsides were that the public bath was crowded and there was no bottled water in the room, requiring us to go to the water dispenser outside. The room was spacious and very comfortable."

"We used this hotel as a family celebration trip. The facilities were beautiful and lovely, but what really impressed us was the warm and wonderful service from the staff. Due to the earthquake in Russia, trains were stopped and we had no means of transportation, but they extended our check-out time and were very accommodating. The food was delicious, and each dish was carefully prepared. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying, with so many options, including Japanese and Western cuisine, that we couldn't finish it all. We signed up for morning yoga, and started the morning off right in the open space surrounded by greenery on the property, listening to the birds chirping and feeling the breeze, which was a wonderful way to start the day. Next time we visit, we'd like to enjoy a cruise or something similar."

"On the mountainside of Tangzhi Mountain, suitable for self-driving people, the hotel is a mix of Japanese and Western style, dinner and breakfast are Japanese, there are also hot springs to use, if you feel bored, you can also use table tennis for free."

"This hotel offers an excellent overall experience. The hot spring facilities were a pleasant surprise; the water quality and environment were both comfortable and incredibly relaxing. The staff were friendly, courteous, and very responsive and attentive, making us feel well taken care of. It's definitely worth another visit."
