I was in a room that was not renovated. And it was very bad. I payed extra to move to a renovated.Room, it was very nice. But need some work.It was a lot nicer than the old rooms,
They hotel needs a little bit more work to be up to Standards of a 4 stars.
The only main problem that really bothered me that there is no hot water What so ever only warm water/cold
the stuff was very friendly and helpful
The location is amazing
I do recommend this hotel if you're only going to use it for sleeping
Good value hotel with decent breakfast and reasonably priced food available in the evenings. Location is good for walking to plenty of decent bars and cheap restaurants, as well as local shops. Traffic in the area can get very bad so taxi journeys can take a while.
Staff were all friendly. The fitness room has just about enough equipment to make it worthwhile. The rooftop pool is no more than a plunge pool, you certainly can’t swim in it, but I’m sure it’s nice in summer.
Be aware that some rooms have adjoining doors so you could be subject to some noise as a door does not keep much noise out.
A kettle is provided and a couple of teabags and coffee sachets, but these weren’t replaced when used. Similarly, drinking water is provided on arrival but not replenished. Decor is fine, bed was comfy and everything in the room worked, so overall very good value.
We stayed there for one night. It's a apartment/hotel. The room was a decent size without the kitchenette area. Super clean, friendly and helpful staff as a usual Lebanese hospitality.
It's located right in front of Falamanki and Bay Rock restaurant. The location is perfect and close to a lot of place, it takes 12 minutes walk to Hamra Street.
Polite and helpful staff, good restaurant, & very centra location.
No acoustic insulation whatsoever, therefore, neighbors & weekend parties can keep you up late.
Adding a few more points to my previous review.
On the morning of my departure, after breakfast, a lady from the restaurant asked me to fill out a survey. I rated the food variety a 7, indicating I wasn't fully satisfied. She then prompted me to specify what I'd like to eat, so I wrote down fried rice and fried noodles. She mentioned that they could actually inform the kitchen to prepare it fresh for me. This genuinely impressed me; the service here is truly exceptional. What a shame it would have to be for a future visit!
One more tip: In Lebanon, there's generally no need to exchange for Lebanese Pounds. Almost all establishments accept US dollars, and often at a more favorable exchange rate than dedicated currency exchange booths.
One peculiar observation: when using Uber in Lebanon, drivers frequently demand an additional fee on top of the app's quoted price. I've sometimes refused and opted to re-book or find another ride, but there are instances when finding a taxi is difficult, and I've had to reluctantly agree to the surcharge.
Centrally located in Hamra District, supermarkets and restaurants around. The service is average adequate , the place is clean and the Wi-Fi work. Normally for the price I would recommend a short stay. There are many hotels in the hamlet this trip with different standard. I will say this one is above average.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was perfect, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
The hotel is nice, located near the sea, with its own excellent beach area, several pools, a restaurant, and a bar. Standard room with breakfast. The downside was the room was very smoky, and there was always smoke coming from the next room.
Didn't expect much from the hotel. Very modest, no bathroom amenities (shampoo, etc.), only shower gel in a dispenser. I had to ask for an iron, as it seems to be the only one for the whole hotel. Very high humidity, the bed always felt damp. I asked for a non-smoking room, yes, it was written on the floor that the floor was non-smoking. But when I just went into the room, the feeling was that a company of 10 people had just smoked there. There was also an ashtray - accordingly, it is assumed that you can smoke ..
Bed linen was changed the day before departure.
Once I bought breakfast, also very modestly, there is no choice ...
The hotel itself is right in Hamra, close to many shops, restaurants, close (walking 15 minutes) to Zaituna Bay.
The staff is very friendly, they always tried to fulfill the wishes quickly.
In general, if you are only going to sleep, then it’s fine.

AAyaoxyThe hotel I stayed in several years ago, because the economic situation is depressed, the service is slightly worse than before... But the room is still very clean, and the location of the hotel is OK. Breakfast is not good.

GGee88The hotel is beautiful, clean and the location is very central. However the indoor pool in the spa was being emptied in the middle of the day when we tried to use it. Service around the outdoor pool was bit slack for the prices you are paying. However the biggest problem was parking. Felt like we were being taken on a ride, we were told that a full day parking was $25 which we paid, despite the fact that is a really extortinate price for the area, however at the end of our stay we were told that the $25 covers 8 hours only so we were charged twice and extra $9 for an additional three hours stay. So in total we paid $59 for around 20hours of parking which sounds extreme, not to mention the rude way we’re asked to pay. It was the experience I was hoping for, I am unlikely to go back, which is a shame because it is such a historical and beautiful hotel.

SSpringfieldThe first time I stayed, I felt very good, especially the bathroom, the facilities are complete, there is hot water up, this is rare in hotels of the same level in Lebanon, wooden floor, big bed, socket internationalization, very convenient next time I will choose 👍
OOla_SalPolite and helpful staff, good restaurant, & very centra location.

AAl Loubnani (اللبناني)Very good hotel near the mall, but no parking if you have a car you have to pay extra 7$ for your car, that's already wroten but i didnt notice.
