Room is clean and spacious. The view is also very nice. However, amenities are lacking. They don’t even have one single wine opener in the hotel. The wifi is also very slow, I was not able to watch any videos.

The location is nice. There’s a supermarket nearby and it’s pretty close to the place you take the free ferry to the station. There’s a big common area on ground floor for you to chill and there’s also a bar. The staff is quite nice. I was living in female dorm room, it’s good that they have seperate bathroom and toilet en-suite and also outside of room so that I don’t have to pee myself. The individual bed light is so strong that I feel like I would wake someone up if I keep that light up but I’m gonna be blind soon if I look at my phone in complete dark. I slept well with the bed, except for the first night that a girl packed her stuff whole midnight crazy. (Which is not the hostel’s responsibility) travellers plz keep quiet in midnight, if you wanna make noise, go outside of the room.

Trust me you will not be disappointed. The hotel is clean and modern. The hospitality is beyond amazing. The friendliest front desk that is available 24/7. Location is spot on. Train station, including busses, metro etc across the road and no more than a 5 minute walk. Was 1 stop to get into the centre of Amsterdam and very easy to navigate the public transport to venture into different neighborhoods as well. Hands down I will recommend hotel2stay to everyone heading to Amsterdam ! Thank you so much to all the staff that made our stay so pleasurable.

We loved our stay at Zaan Hotel. Fantastic location. It is just opposite to the train station, from where you can access trains to the airport, Amsterdam and various other destinations. The train to Amsterdam is only about 12 minutes ride. The train to the airport is only 3 stops away and about 18 mins ride. There is a fairly large supermarket opposite the hotel. It being in the heart of Zaandam, has several cafes, restaurants and beautiful shops as well as high street stores extremely nearby. We had a great time walking around the shopping street and also got to enjoy local Dutch food at the cafes. The hotel location is EXCELLENT in one word. Fairytale place is how we would describe Zaandam. We were very happy with the service at the hotel too. Our comfort family room was spacious. The fridge in the room is very useful. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and toiletries replenished. The staff were very helpful. All areas of the hotel are very well maintained, clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was lovely too and so was the dinner. We would strongly recommend this hotel to everyone planning a trip in the Netherlands.

Although it is not in the city central of amsterdam but it is very convenient to travel to anywhere. The hotel is just next to train and metro station. You also can take bus and tram it is just few step away. Flixbus station is just 5 minutes by walk. You can take any public transport to city central within 10-20 minutes and 10 minutes to airport.

Staff at the front desk are willing to help with a smile on their face. Very nice overall. The only bad thing is that the soundproof wasn’t so good. Can hear the neighbours easily.

We came to this hotel because it looked quirky & to having a few relaxing days away with a couple of hectic Amsterdam days thrown in. The hotel was very good with decent sized rooms. We were on floor 11 with decent views of the surrounding area. There was a free safe in the room which is always a bonus which was straight forward to use. The hotel is situated in a great area for getting around with a bus & train station within 5 minutes walk. There is a shopping street pretty much straight outside which is decent if you need to buy anything. I forgot my toothbrush which fortunately I could pick up at the shop basically next door. Our room had a bath & shower which were easy to use. Although we never saw the housemaids our bed was made daily to a high standard. The hotel bar served breakfast which was continental but was perfectly adequate. The bar itself was ok with a decent variety of drinks & also serving food. The prices were what you would expect of a hotel of this standard. The staff were probably the hotels strongest point very friendly, very prompt & very helpful. I would like to give a shout out to 2 in particular. Benji & Daphne very polite & they couldn't do enough to make our stay impeccable. I would definitely go again if the opportunity arose. It's a first class hotel.

Everything is great for ibis hotel, however, electricity supply shut down for almost 30 minutes at night. It is quite speechless that the shuttle bus service is not on time in the morning. Both situation are without a explanation. But anyway, the hotel is great except for these 2 surprising issues.

Very lovely hotel, great location to museums and trams. Friendly staff. But noisy but that didn’t bother us at all. Room was small but my daughter and I enjoyed the coziness after a long day exploring. We had a great view too! Room tidied, bins emptied etc. Good shower with plenty of hot water.

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean friendly helpful members of staff who are very knowlegable about the area which made all the diffrence as you think your quite far away from center of amsterdam but with there help it was a short walk to tram stop and no2 tram to central amsterdam so all in all 10/10 would absolutly recomend and stay again! Even has a ice despenser on the floor we were staying on which was excellent for a cool drink before exploring! Theres a spar across the road which is resonably priced, and theres a restrant in the hotel

The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to many of the tourist attractions, such as the red-light street and China Town. A convenience store is only a one-minute walk away with lots of shops and little coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The customer service is friendly, efficient and helpful. The hotel room is spacious with all amenities provided. There is a gym on the 5/F and an Italian restaurant. Breakfast is cozy with adequate choices of food. The coffee served is nice. Highly recommend this hotel!

Very nice location, rooms are quite big, bed comfy. One thing I dislike however is that I was waken up at 9:00 Am by a cleaning lady entering the room, then again after I have confirmed the extra charge to stay in the room until 3pm (20eur/hour), they call me at 2pm and again knocked the door at 2:40 pm to remind me to check out, is there any communication issue in the hotel?

Generator is next to a Beautiful Park with may kind of tree, fresh and cool air.From the hotel to the Van Gogh museum is about 2 km. You can walk to see the city, it's also great. The hotel staff is friendly and the service is good. The breakfast is delicious. If i come here again, I sill choose it.😊😊😊😊😊

Very nice hotel, convenient located directly at the airport within a short walking distance. Easy access to all the stores and restaurants at the airport. Rooms cost with perfect view on the airport, really enjoyed my stay! And super friendly and helpful staff which go the extra mile to help and support any requests

We were really pleased with our stay at Corendon. We stayed at the plaza, when arrived se received a nice friendly welcome which is always nice. The shuttle service to and from the airport is a big selling point. It made travelling into Amsterdam super easy. A train came pretty much every 10 minutes from schipol airport to the centre so it was so handy. The hotel itself is very lovely, clean and well designed. Our rooms were a decent size and the view of the plane was great. We had breakfast on one day which was great. Some small negatives were - our room was only cleaned on one of the days and it seemed it has be rushed with the bed not properly made. Also there was a horrible horrible smell coming from the drains in the bathroom - you could only smell it in the bathroom and it was like that for 2 days solid - not sure if any other rooms had the same problem? Overall a really good stay and would use this hotel again.

Modern hotel very close to the airport.Ideal for overnight transit. The is no need to get a taxi or shuttle.Exit the terminal and follow the covered walkway for 500 metres. The hotel exit is on the left after Sheraton Hotel exit. Check in and out was fast. Room was big and clean. Very well insulated. No noise from aircrafts. Highly recommended.

A private room in Central Amsterdam is expensive and hence people end up staying in hostels with shared rooms/toilets/bathrooms at exorbitant rates. Maxhotel, near the Schiphol Airport is an excellent place to stay if you want a private room with a private bathroom/toilet in Amsterdam. The rooms are small but it is an absolute no non sense place. The staff is very helpful and there’s a Mc Donald’s right next door. The public transport network in Amsterdam is so good that you’re there in the centre of the city in no time from the hotel. There’s a bus stop which is really close to the hotel, about 3-5 minutes walk and it has a great frequency of bus 397 running to the center and back. I never felt that I was staying so far from the centre of the city. They also kept my luggage for few days in their lockers and only charged me 4 Euros for 3 days as I travelled to Paris during the weekend. I was really satisfied with my stay in this hotel and I had a really pleasant experience. I would love to be back here.

My worst hotel experience in a long time, the front desk officers looked and acted ĺĺĺke. they were not conversant with the situations . Hotel is so unkept and most features are broken. Wc doesn't stop running when flushed ... bathroom had molds in the shower. It was an awful experience for me. Even if the receptionist had little or no control over the situation that are management issue. No shower caps

Room was clean as housekeeper cleans and replenished the consumables every day. Location wise is too far from the city and trains. I would like to suggest to add more foods on breakfast and to consider foods that suits other nationalities like asian. They also provide cycle but too pricey.

Modernized and comfortable facilities made our stay a pleasant one, as well as the friendly staff and the efficient shuttle service that we could rely on. The hotel is a bit apart, but with the shuttle we were able to move anywhere we wanted from the Schiphol airport.

Poor experience. We were traveling with two little children and we requested if possible to have the room ready as we arrived quite early (11 am) but the answer was no or you can wait 30 mins and pay a supplement. Reception team is very junior and they need more training, never a smile or a friendly approach, and the senior staff just hiding in the back office. We had a family room and they were not enough towels bath soap and there was any hairdryer, we had to come downstairs every time as no one was picking up the phone. The only special mention is for the food and beverage manager(Romina and another pregnant lady-sorry I didn’t get your name) super helpful and smiling, thanks. Location wise is very convenient if you have an early flight but there is so little around the hotel, you’ve to get the bus to find a restaurant Breakfast was ok but If you’re a coffee only breakfast person I would suggest the caffè macchiato in front of the hotel, great croissant So I would go back? Definitely not as I wasn’t feeling welcome

I hadn't planned to stay here, but after arriving into Schipol from the Middle East to find my onwards connection to the UK cancelled, and with 35 other flights from AMS cancelled and lots of missed connections, needed to make a quick booking (through Expedia) and beat the rush for local hotel rooms. Being familiar with the Hampton brand, and in the knowledge that KLM would only recompense a 'mid-range' hotel, booked here. Firstly, I cannot understand previous comments about the hotel being difficult to get to or expensive by taxi. My booking confirmation had great directions, so I simply caught the sprinter train from Schipol to Hoofdorp, 4 minute ride, €3.50! From there, less than a five minute walk. The shuttle bus is currently not running, but to be honest my transit from the airport to the hotel was probably quicker. Check in was easy, up two floors by lift, and into my room. Now if you know the Hampton room, you know what to expect. The room was kind of basic, as if designed for the airline passenger market in mind. But it was comfortable, clean, decent sized bathroom and a superb shower. The bed was super-comfy. Basic tea / coffee making facilities, and a TV. But a few things to be aware of. Although really close to the station, it's kind of remote. Hoofdorp centre is a 15 minute walk away. And as there is no dinner at weekends, this can be a problem. However, the staff are on point to offer recommendations of places to eat if you fancy the walk into town, or if not, assist with delivery services. I guess I lucked in though, as the barman seemed to have guidance that if it was quiet, he could make pizzas for the guests, so 20 minutes later a brilliant stove-cooked meat feast pizza was in front of me. Although I didn't catch his name, many thanks, great customer service and much appreciated. As I had an early start the next morning, left before breakfast to get the first (05:35) sprinter train to Schipol, so can't comment. So in my situation, it really worked out for me, and happy to recommend if you're caught in a similar situation to me.

Frontdesk female at check in 19:45 seemed a bit annoyed by something and very busy. Got two room cards, but apparently non of them were working. Got two new cards again and at least one was working. Elevator needed card access and also a door before the corridor before room needed access card, first time seen this. Safety ++ Room was Okey more or less. Mirror in room was badly broken. Sliding window not possible to lock, push pin broken. Room AC fan had a very annoying sound, but that I can easily live with. Bathroom was very good and large. TV, very good international selection to choose from. WIFI was 30-40 Mbit so easy to stream all possible media. Due to early check-out 05:30 then hotel was able to provide a early morning breakfast pickup bag @ 05:00. That was a very nice breakfast option to provide, does require a frontdesk request before 24:00. Generally a good average hotel for business travellers. Also free frequent shuttle transport from/to airport.

The hotel has convenient transportation to and from the airport. The hotel environment is quiet and comfortable, very suitable for business trips and family trips. The hotel restaurant is also of good quality, good price and large portions. I will stay here again next time I go to Amsterdam.

NHHotel Schiphol Airport, this was my first time staying there for 1 week. I was kindly upgraded to a better room as I was celebrating my birthday. The staff were friendly. The hotel inside and out looks amazing. I enjoyed eating breakfast every day in the Green room restaurant as it looked like a botanical garden. The food choices were plenty. I loved the hotel shuttle bus service as it was a comfortable 7 minute ride to the airport. A good way to start exploring Amsterdam. The pool and jacuzzi area looked lovely and welcoming but unfortunately it was very busy with other guests and I never got to experience it. Well maybe next time.

Transportation 🚴: Good location, one minute walk from the bus station, 397 road directly to the Van Gogh Museum, remember to have three public transportation airports. Go to hoofddorp town for 20 minutes, bus is OK, you can go to jumbo supermarket to buy, and Oriental Bank Asia Chao Environment 🍂: The room has a kitchenette, which is perfect for a long business trip! ! Save Asian stomach! Tableware pots, bowls, refrigerators and microwave ovens are available. In addition, there is a free laundry room, washing machine ➕ dryer, you need to bring your own laundry detergent. Service 🙋: I went out in the morning and put the tableware in the sink and didn't wash it. The cleaning staff helped me wash it...🫡 In short, the price is good, business trips can be considered.
