I love this hotel and have been there many times throughout the years. It still have the same charm despite the fact that is getting old, however a lot of updates and improvements have been done to keep it up to date.
On personal note I will suggest to open the interior pool early. As the opening time it's 10 am. I personally love to swim first thing in the morning, before breakfast and since there is no one from staff in there , they just need to open the door. I ask at the reception but was told it was impossible to do that. So I live the suggestion for the future!
Thank you.
Impeccable hotel with fantastic rooms. The only thing is that it should have a dental kit because I forgot mine and asked at reception but it was sold out.
Otherwise impeccable
It's an Ibis! The room was well maintained, and the swimming pool was a good way to relax. The pool has deeper options as well, perfect was a long swimming session.
I liked it, but honestly it fell short of expectations! The room was huge, the bathroom was good, the view was fantastic, but one detail that bothered me was that when I went to bed, the smell of the bed linen and pillow wasn't freshly laundered, as I've found even in 2-star hotels; it smelled like someone else's body, not mine! That wasn't supposed to be the case in a hotel of this category. I believe the pillow and duvet hadn't been washed after the previous guest's use.
As for the breakfast, fantastic, with a wide choice.
The spa was also good, although the Turkish bath wasn't available.
The location of the hotel is easy to find. There are lots of free parking space outside the hotel. If you would like to park at the hotel, it is 5 euro per day.
The rooftop bar is closed on Mondays to Thursdays. When it is closed, the guests have no access to the rooftop. I think such arrangement should be improved by granting access to the rooftop even when the bar is closed.
Apartment as described, however we were located in a part of the hotel with no view of anywhere. Lots of sounds in the hotel. Indoor pool with lots of children (maybe restricting the hours would be a good idea) Impossible to relax. Good breakfast, fresh products and always replenished, but small area for the number of people.
Drove 600kms from Malaga to stay here whilst doing some business in the locale, which was very quiet, like an ex-workers community... so wasn't anticipating or expecting anything 5*
I'm sure they did their best but being told no soap is available, although toiletries are listed as free, and to use the pump dispensers, even when the bidet is too far to operate a pump in situ, and to have suggested to fill a cup with liquid soap first....really?? Both the bidet and bath plug leaked, the extractor fan wasn't operating and also the fridge was missing the door shelf retainers, not helpful!!
I realise my off-season stay was in February, but I asked if there was room service but was told no, and yet they advertise it??
therefore it would be very welcoming if the coffea/hot drink machine was available for a reasonable time during the day and evening, not just at breakfast and evening meal
If that wasn't possible, then for £70 per night I would have appreciated a small travel kettle in my room, as I was happy to supply milk, tea and coffee, but hey ho
Probably wouldn't recommend this place or stay here again, staff looked bored during meal service and honestly couldn't blame them, maybe some music, ever?
Regarding this hotel, I loved the experience not only because of its location, but also because of the friendliness and kindness of the staff, explaining all the questions and services to us, a huge hug, this hotel is ideal for spending a weekend with the family , couple or friends, in relation to the excellent room it was spacious, friendly, I booked it with a balcony which was an extra for us, I recommend you visit one day. The buffet breakfast was very good to start the day off right.

Just got back from a fantastic stay at the Aroeira Lisbon Hotel - Sea & Golf, and honestly, we had a blast! 😊 What really made our stay special was the people. The staff here are seriously amazing; genuinely friendly, warm, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and looked after. I need to give a massive thank you to everyone: Front Desk Crew: You guys were superstars, always helpful and smiling. Seriously, everyone we met was lovely. The Drivers: So helpful getting us to the beach and shops. Thank you for the restaurant recommendations and happy conversations. My son and daughter really loved you guys. Kitchen and Restaurant Team:The food was great, and the hospitality was top-notch. It felt like everyone, no matter their role, was happy to help with anything we needed. Need info? Done. Extra towels? Here you are. Special kid meal delivered in the night? No problem. Just a friendly chat? Absolutely! Plus, the amenities are awesome! We tried to take advantage of as much as we could (that pool! the grounds! the beach nearby!), and it was all super easy to access. Honestly, it was just a really smooth, fun, and welcoming experience from start to finish. Big thumbs up from the whole family, especially the kids! We'll definitely be back when we're next near Lisbon. Highly recommend!👍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We are very satisfied with the hotel, from the room to the friendliness. Since our arrival, we have always been very well treated. When the lady at reception found out it was our anniversary, she gave us a gift (fruit and chocolate) prepared by the chef, taken directly to the room. We will definitely be back one day!
Christmas time makes us search Fort comfort and warmness. Sobreiras brings that human touch where smiles embrace you. Its location, in the middle of nature, brings fresh air, open views, where birds and true nature life surround you. Very good breakfast, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds, a thousand reasons to come back. Even though it is a countryside hotel, it is a quick car travel away from some picturesque places like Grândola, Lousal mines and a huge beach coast.
Forget all the naysayers, this place is great! The rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly and the setting is lovely. The only thing I didn't exactly like was the location. It's great if you're planning to drive everywhere but less fun if you want to walk - you're going to end up on one of two national highways. But apart from that, zero complaints. It's a charming country estate with its little quirks and I really wouldn't change a thing :)
Rooms are very spacious including the bathrooms. Breakfast is great too although the thermostat does not have numbers on it in the room I was in. I checked in with my other family members of their rooms and they have numbers on it. Despite this it’s great and definitely recommend this!
