Hotels With Breakfast in Aragon, Spain

I have given this hotel an average rating because I did not get to stay here in the end and I don't want to affect their ratings badly. I am just writing to alert pet owners that this establishment only qualifies as pet-friendly if you have just one pet. I messaged to say we were travelling with two cats and had my booking accepted. Then they sent a form message saying their pet policy was only one per room. I queried it and they said there were no exceptions even if the pets concerned were two small cats. So someone with a giant Newfoundland or Great Dane can stay. But my one cat and one kitten (combined weight about 8kg) can't. It looks like a nice hotel, but apparently can't see how illogical their pet policy is. Owners of multiple pets, beware.

An excellent boutique hotel with a modernistic and trendy atmosphere, centrally located. The fit out of the bar/dining area and the rooms is modern and very comfortable, as well as being well above average for a reasonably priced hotel. The centrally located position ( close to rail station) is excellent for walking into the city centre ( Alphonus 1 Ave). A lot of major tourist attractions are within walking distance and the city itself is busy and interesting at night , with numerous sights to see, including a magnificent cathedral, galleries and Gothic and Roman ruins. The numerous tapas bars and other eateries, positioned throughout the numerous old streetscapes are truly superb, though not inexpensive are worth the money. Zaragoza and the hotel are worthy of favouritism as some of the best in Spain.

But, the place hasn’t been refurbished for years, everything seems worn out and dated. - from the black mould in the bathroom, the rotten wood on doorways, ceilings marked with water stains, etc. The basement breakfast room is reached through a dingy room, seemingly used to store old settees. You feel the place should be closed down for a thorough rebuild. The hotel no longer has its own carpark. During our whole stay, the restaurant was ‘unavailable’ - a strange room accessed from outside. How it keeps four stars I don’t know. We did use the tapas bar and found it very reasonable. The hotel reception is set to one side as you enter the hotel, and so makes little impact; we were offered no information about the hotel or the area, or any kind of welcome. We have another NH hotel already booked on this trip. Unless it is substantially better, that will be our last stay with this group.

We stayed at this hotel as a stop-off on our journey through Spain - it exceeded our expectations without a doubt. We arrived around 9pm and found free parking right outside the door (parking meters but free between 6pm and 9am) - to be honest, I think we were probably lucky but there were several parking spots close by. The young man who checked us in was welcoming and super helpful. The room was outstanding value for money, very spacious, well decorated and equipped, lovely little balcony overlooking the park and the bathroom was superb. Huge walk-in shower. It was all immaculately clean - and I’m fussy! We went down to the bar, great staff again and very reasonable. Bed was really comfortable and room was quiet. We slept soundly. We paid €77 for a 1-night stay. If I’d have paid €175 I would have thought it a bargain. Definitely one to recommend.

Except...it's very difficult to get in and out of the parking lot, and friends who don't have 8 or 10 years of driving experience will probably have a headache! Room is warm, clean and comfortable. All we need for one night and an early start in the morning. There’s noise from the road outside but this doesn’t bother us too much. Only downside is that we were unable to use the garage overnight as our car is too big and heavy for the lift to take it underground. We were able to leave it immediately in front outside the hotel for a few minutes whilst we unloaded a couple of bags but then had to drive to another underground car park three minutes away.

Good central location with on street parking (if you’re lucky) otherwise pay extra for the hotel secure car park. We found the hotel and room to be spotless and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. And all of this for a very reasonable price. Don’t expect everything to be 5-star… you’d need to pay a LOT more. Instead, accept the fact that the pricing for a city hotel is very competitive and enjoy your stay. My only gripe (and it’s purely a personal one), the bed was a bit too firm for me.

We stayed at this hotel for one night on 22nd September. I am disabled and have considerable mobility problems. The hotel advertises a car park but it is virtually impossible to find. There are only limited direction signs and access to the car park is difficult. Having gone round the one way system a number of times we finally found the car park entrance. An unhelpful member of staff told us that the car park was full and we would have to park elsewhere. Street parking around the hotel is impossible and the nearest public car park is some distance away from the hotel. After yet more circuits of the one way system we found somewhere to park. I then had considerable difficulty getting back to the hotel. I had previously requested an accessible room but apparently the are situated a long walk from the lift, which is very odd.We had to settle for a standard room near to the lift. Having finally checked in after a lot of stress and pain we looked forward to a relaxing meal.No Chance! The hotel doesn't offer any meaningful evening food option. My wife ended up going to the local supermarket to get food to bring back to the room as I wasn't capable of trawling round the city to find a restaurant. Luckily, my wife was with me to help and support me.Had I been alone this would have been a complete nightmare. We have stayed at many Ibis hotels in he past and have never had this sort of experience. Needless to say,we won't be repeating this.

Nice, the shower room is so beautiful, the room looks on a lake, amazing. Good price, they offer tea bags, and coffee. I highly recommend it.

The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. It is rated as 5 stars - but do not expect it is like those 5 stars hotels in Barcelona. Staff were nice! Bed was very comfy! Room was spacious! Not near the tourist attractions. Will take ard 35mins walk to the Old town. However, the hotel is well located next to a shopping mall. I personally like the quietness of the hotel and the nearby environment. The hotel was full of 60's / 70's vibes ~ the only one that we do not quite like is - too many mirrors in the room... Would be better if tea / coffee also available in the room.

The numerous tapas bars and other eateries, positioned throughout the numerous old streetscapes are truly superb, though not inexpensive are worth the money. The bath in the suite was the size of a paddling pool, although you had to be careful with the angle of the shower otherwise the water just spilled all over the floor. The rooms had a total of three TVs and three mini fridges. The rooms were very comfortable. Everything worked and was clean. The hotel was very well located, most areas were within walking distance. We ate in the hotel restaurant both evenings and were very impressed with the food and value for money. The menu is limited, but we don't mind that and the food was delicious. The breakfast however was quite basic and not that great. The hotel has parking, which is an extra cost. It's probably worth paying since parking in the city would be a nightmare. The staff were attentive and organised a breakfast picnic for us because we had to leave to catch an early flight. The decor is quite dated, which lets it down a bit, and has a feel of a luxury 80's hotel about it. Overall, we found it perfectly acceptable, comfortable and clean.
