First time at a Holiday inn. The staff very welcoming and helpful, and the room was spotless.
2 night stay and the included breakfast was top notch. Help yourself cooked breakfast. Large and very comfy bed, amenities were great. Double shower and toiletries all readily available.
Decent beer as well.
But just remember to take change if you're not paying by card as they don't have any.
Looking forward to going back early next year.
It was very nice the rooms were clean and the beach was very close. The staff was very kind and nice,I would definitely book again i am very pleased with this hotel my kids also loved this hotel more than me. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to others. However I would say if there is a family you book the rooms near each other in advance. Overall my whole family loved this hotel.
In general everything was great.
We suggest to change mattress as both we and our friends had terrible back pain but this is of course just a preference and not everyone wants a hard mattress as we do.
Apart from that we love it all in this hotel.
Thankyou .
Amazing location with a spacious room and balcony, the breakfast is also wonderful with fresh homemade bread and offering a lot of amities introduction from the spa and fork and spoon cafe. We have a good time oh and the car park with overnight special offer
We love our stay here. Just 10 mins to the beach. Hotel is clean and equipped with all you needs. We love the shampoo it smells so good!
Definitely will stay again .
Overall very good, and the sea view rooms are worth the extra cost. Food excellent, and although a little pricey no more expensive than other good restaurants nearby.
One oddity is that the pool bar (the pool is slightly detached from the hotel) has no coffee facility, although the main bar in the hotel serves very good coffee and cake.
Excellent customer service from all members of staff.
Room had all the amenities we needed. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast help yourself to cereals and fruit. The waiting staff took your hot food order at your table. Everything was hot, straight from the kitchen. Extra parking around the back is available if the front car park is full. You are a short walk to the top of the zig zag down to the beach and promenade. Overall a most enjoyable stay at The Grove Hotel. Would we return, yes if we found ourselves back in Bournemouth.
Have always wanted to stay here. Sadly it's very dated in places. The first room I checked into was cold, it appeared that the heating was not working. Was offered blankets or change rooms. Opted to change room. 2nd room was unbearably hot but felt I couldn't complain again. Only one of the two small windows opened and the radiator had no controls to turn it down.
The reception gave me no directions to get to either room location the hotel is a maze.
Door staff on security were good and welcoming when getting back early in the morning and this was reassuring. Reception staff on check out were kind and happy to store our bags in the luggage room while we wandered round Bournemouth. For less than £50 for a Saturday night hotel it was as I expected.
Excellent location right in the centre of Christchurch. Have stayed at the Kings arms hotel several times. The rooms are modern, clean and quiet. Staff are very helpful and go above and beyond to help. Great breakfast and bar. Highly recommend.
Staff were very polite, room was old but clean and functional. We were told the pool was open all day until 9pm but we went and there were swimming lessons on.
Lovely hotel with great facilities. Very friendly polite staff. Room was clean beds comfortable. Tea and coffee in room. Breakfast was good lots of options. Spa facilities good with a nice pool.
Fabulous location, just across from Knoll Beach. Tasty breakfast. Loved the retro, quirky feel of the hotel and its fabulous sea views. It would be nice if the new owners spent money on improving and refurbishing the hotel as is, rather than on trying to turn it into something different.
Lovely experience! I stayed here for one night. The staff were so nice. I got the Patrick Swayze room - very happy with that. The hotel has clearly been upgrading - the stairs were beautiful. My room itself was a bit dated, but I understand that they are in the process of doing them up. The bed though was very comfortable, and the price I paid very reasonable. Would definitely book again! It would be nice to see some British celebrities featured - maybe Gregg Wallace or Judi Dench. Leading to my room it was mostly American actors, and I didn't see any home grown talent. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a 3 day stay at the Harbour Hotel in Christchurch. We ate dinner there twice - once at ”The Upper Deck” and once at ”The Jetty”. Both meals were excellent: we had lovely tables, the food was great and the service made us feel special. The experience at breakfast was the same, with attentive service from all the staff and great food served on the open veranda. Although we were using the hotel as a base for our walks around the area, we also used the spa which was well maintained and had all the facilities you could want. We did have an issue with our assigned room which was not as ordered from Trip.com. Although the reception team reconfirmed they had allocated the room accurately based on what Trip.com had ordered for us, the Cherry the reception manager took it on herself to compensate us for the mismatch. From start to finish the service at The Harbour was outstanding. All the staff that served us in reception, the bar, the restaurants and the spa were helpful, efficient and friendly. Although our room was smaller than we'd ordered, it was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, this was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in, this in no small part due to the professionalism and caring attitude of the staff team. We will return !
Very happy with my stay at the Harrington Hotel. Very comfortable room, excellent service in the reception and restaurant. I was able to park near the hotel entrance which was a bonus!
We got upgraded as soon as we came which was nice However there were hairs in the bathroom floor And a little mark on the bedsheet but it was sorted as I spoke. Over all it was a good place to stay
