Просторный, чистый номер, внимание в мелочах к постояльцам. Территорию отеля вечером обрабатывают от насекомых. Очень вежливый гостеприимный персонал. Есть обмен валюты. Свободный доступ к бассейну, разнообразное меню на завтрак. За всё пребывание в Индии в 4-х городах из 4-х отелей этот самый лучший. Однозначно рекомендую этот отель.
The stay was pleasant . The receptionist Sundar , Sidharth , Ravi and Seena really made the check in and check out process easier . The breakfast was nice as well .
Amazing service in all senses. The food is amazing there. Do try if you visit salem. Highly recommended. The room-service and in-room dining is a hasslefree thing and we can just relax without any tension.
Good amenities, good breakfast and buffet dinners. I booked the hotel car for a day trip to Sadhguru’s Isha yoga foundation. I am impressed by the driver. He is a steady driver, knowledgeable and forthcoming in sharing his knowledge. The Chinese restaurant is great too! Overall, I find the staffs friendly and have a strong interest in fulfilling guests needs.
The stay was comfortable and peaceful overall. The room was quiet, which I appreciated, and I slept well during my stay. The room itself was spacious and adequate for a restful stay.
However, I felt that the service could be improved, as it did not feel particularly warm or welcoming. Another disappointment was during my stay extension. As an existing guest, I would have appreciated a better rate offered directly by the hotel, instead of having to go through the full online booking process again.
Breakfast is another area for improvement, both in terms of food quality and offering more local dishes rather than a largely Western spread.
The Taj Cormandel was a fantastic hotel and stay for us on our recent trip to Chennai. We were made welcome from the minute we stepped out of the cab. All staff are very helpful and friendly but Amit from the Chipstead deserves a special mention for his outstanding customer service and welcoming manner.
Rooms were large and very comfortable. Housekeeping and services were top notch, plentiful large towels and hot water, plus some housekeeping surprises we enjoyed on our stay.
Breakfasts were buffet style with lots of choice and culinary types, service was very well organised and any special breakfast requests delivered to your table.
Choice of restaurants for having dinner and a lounge for drinks and cocktails.
Swimming pool with outside loungers and fitness room are on the lower ground area of the hotel. Towels provided.

Loved the stay. Staff and service are excellent and reliably great. The location is right in the middle of the town in a main thorough fare, in close proximity to the Temples for those who visit on a pilgrimage to Kanchipuram. The access to the location though, as also visibility from the road leaves room for improvement. Food was delicious and great, and the free breakfast had an elaborate big spread. The courtesy of the staff who are always checking up on you and asking you how's your stay and dining experience deserves a special mention. All in all, a great facility to have in Kanchipuram that makes staying there comfortable and worry free.
Excellent Stay at GRT Grand Chennai
I had a wonderful stay at GRT Grand Chennai. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well maintained, making the stay extremely comfortable.
The staff Sabri,Muthu Anna Sharin and Aishek were courteous, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile, which truly enhanced the overall experience. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options catering to different tastes.The hotel’s location is very convenient, providing easy access to major areas in Chennai. Overall, GRT Grand Chennai exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city for business or leisure. I look forward to staying here again.

I have been staying in this hotel every time I visit Chennai! The location so ideal that you could just walk, take an auto or drive to pondy bazaar & T Nagar! I loved the smart room concept that it become my benchmark whenever I stay in any hotel!😜 Their variety of breakfast simply not to be missed!!!! The sky roof restaurant view is so thing not to be missed!🤩 Will I come back again? You bet 👍
My initial stay at this newly launched hotel was excellent. The modern facilities were in perfect working order, and the room was impeccably clean and comfortable. It was a promising start that convinced me to return. Unfortunately, my second stay was profoundly disappointing and raised several concerns. The first room I was assigned had a strong, unpleasant odor. While I appreciate the staff promptly moving me to a second room, it only partially resolved the issue, as a faint strange smell persisted. The second room had multiple functional problems: * Non-Functional Power:** The USB ports and power sockets on the wall faulty. * Inconsistent Hot Water:** The water heater took an excessively long time to heat up, disrupting my routine. * Purify water contamination:** There's particles and oil from the purify water. It seems contamination from central filter. Most alarmingly, at approximately 6 AM one morning, a **very loud alarm sounded from the door area.** This was highly disruptive and concerning, as it was unclear whether it was a security breach alarm or a triggered fire alarm. The lack of any immediate information or follow-up from the hotel staff regarding this incident left me feeling unsettled and concerned about the emergency protocols. While the front desk staff were helpful in changing my room, the combination of maintenance failures and a confusing safety alarm indicates a significant lapse in operational standards. For a new hotel, this is troubling. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure the safety and comfort of all future guests.
Staff at the reception are nice and friendly, crews and bellboys helps with your stuff. However, got harassed by one staff at the bar. We were being forced to leave where we are seated to a sofa near the bar and embarrassed my friends while we are waiting for the coffee we ordered at the bar. Tirelessly, even to the point of heated argument he never stopped until I made myself clear that I am going to report him. I had been a guest for this hotel since 2019 and unfortunately treated like this. This staff must be removed for inappropriate action.
We stayed at this resort last weekend, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. Based on my stay, I have highlighted several positive aspects and a few areas for improvement. Positive Points • The resort has an excellent atmosphere, spread over nearly 1 km with lush greenery throughout. The internal roads are well-connected and well-maintained. • More than 10 shuttle services operate within the resort, making it very convenient to travel between different areas. Shuttle service is available right at your doorstep at any time, which is a major advantage. • The swimming pools for both children and adults are spacious and well-maintained. My kids thoroughly enjoyed their time there. • The children’s indoor play area is clean and well-organized — ideal for kids under 5 years old. • The rain dance and bullock cart ride experiences were fantastic. • The spa service was very good and relaxing. • The restaurants served delicious food, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of tasty options. Areas for Improvement • The rooms are slightly dated. When we first entered, there was a mild odor, but housekeeping responded promptly and freshened up the room. The bathroom tap was loose, but maintenance staff attended to it immediately and resolved the issue efficiently. • The spa reception could be a bit more responsive. Overall, we had a great experience, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed our two-day stay. I would definitely recommend this resort to others
The overall stay was good only thing I felt was the staff is sometimes too busy as the guests are many in the hotel one of the best hotels available in this town .

A budget version of other Taj hotels. The first thing that strikes you is the reception desk is high, so you're forced to stand while checking in, whereas in other 5* hotels, there are seats on either side of a desk. Then there's no porter service, so you're meant to carry your own luggage to your room. The room itself is serviceable, and not up to the Taj mark. One of the closet doors had a loose hinge whose pin fell off. The part of the toilet bowl under water had a permanent yellow film. The hair dryer was a compact one that only had the heat option without cold air drying. That said, the service was quick, efficient and with a smile. The food was good, both breakfast and room service. If you know to expect a marked down experience at a lower cost than its more famous siblings in Chennai, then it's a good bet.
TT@H.I spent a night in this Hotel while in a business trip in Chennai. Honestly speaking, i was positively surprised. The staff was professional and helpful. The room was top notch, well maintained with plenty of options and amenities. The food choice was also great; i tried the Kebab factory restaurant and it was one of the best meal i had in my trip. The hotel is also conveniently located near the airport and they provide a complimentary shuttle to the airport. Great Price / Quality ratio. Highly Recommended

The room given was on the first floor, which was impeccably clean, spacious, with a stunning view of the city.The bathroom was freshly cleaned and well stocked with tissue paper and toiletries . The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.The Manager , Chef, and Waiter presents a professional and polished image that contributes to the overall dining experience. Manager Selvakumar was always seen talking to guests getting feedbacks and reassuring to our needs. Exclusively the restaurant has a big wooden cart with a young boy serving boiling coffee and tea. Overall the hotel's attention to commitment to guest satisfaction were evident throughout my stay. This hotel is in the city and convenient location to all local amenities I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable experience.”
Loved my stay here. It was one of the best ever in Chennai. Will definitely recommend people to try staying in Leela Palace. Food was awesome. Room amenities were tip top. There was also pillow menu. I was also lucky to get a free upgrade to the royal palace room. Appreciate it and feel grateful.
