New roads, buildings being repaired or rebuilt, good quality new businesses even in damaged buildings, lovely juice shop, lovely restaurant. And a lovely hotel. Very safe to walk the streets (only the usual traffic hazards you expect in Iraq!). And the beautifully restored Al Tahera church where I enjoyed the Liturgy on Sunday morning.
