The hotel exceeded all the expectations! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Yamagata.
The personnel is very polite, very helpful, and tries to make sure you have a pleasant stay.
The hotel is a new building I would say, very close to the station. There is a 7/11 store on the 1st floor which is very convenient.
The room is very spacious, has everything you might need. Also you can take all the necessary items such as face creams, toners, lotions, hair oils, toothbrushes, hair ties, teas, coffees etc. at the front desk.
Absolutely wonderful experience!
Such a WONDERFUL hotel I never stayed before. This is a new, eco, comfortable & beautiful place that I don’t want to leave. It is very suitable for any tourists especially for family, I will highly recommended & must visit again next time.
Located on the top of a business building linking to the Yamagata station.
You won’t have to be worried even if it’s snowing or raining.
A side note to travellers from the hotter climate, the hotel doesn’t supply air conditioning during winter. Instead it has a small webbed facility that allows outside air to flow into the room. This slight chills the room. However during the day, the room will be super hot.
Initially we had a room facing the sun and when we checked in, the room is super hot. Called the customer service only to find out they didn’t have air conditioning during winter and we have to rent a fan from them.
After a slight communication, the customer service is kind enough to upgrade us to a bigger room which is slightly cooler. Big props to the customer service lady! 5 stars service !
The room is spacious comparing to Japanese standard. The location is behind the yamagata station. There is 7-11 and open 24-hr supermarket right behind the hotel.
I love how you can choose the need of cleaning on the television. You can also see the status of the laundry on the television.
There is free drink, free ice cream and free noodle. The noodle is quite good. I like it.
Staff is very nice and helpful.
Ps. Please clean the trouser pressing, it’s so dirty.
The free breakfast was delicious and had plenty of healthy options. The space was efficiently utilized, with no unnecessary clutter. The location is incredibly convenient; it's about a 10-minute walk to Kasumigajo Park, and the JR station, Mitsukoshi, and Montbell are all within a 5-minute walk. There's also a Family Mart right downstairs. Excellent value for money!
The room was excellent, very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. When I went to the public bath in the morning, it wasn't crowded at all; I was the only one there. The private onsen in the room was spacious, but there was too much steam, which obscured the view. Overall, I was very satisfied.
I was very impressed with my stay at this hotel. The service was good, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was varied. If I come back here again, I will definitely stay here again. Most importantly, there is a window with a view and the room is spacious and comfortable.
The hotel's location couldn't be more convenient. It's connected to JR, and just a 2-minute walk to the left of the exit is the bus stop for Zao Onsen. There are also supermarkets and pharmacies nearby, and plenty of small restaurants across the street. The rooms in the South Wing are very new, and the Japanese breakfast is highly recommended.
The room was a good size and had no problem opening two large suitcases. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows were too thin.
Breakfast starts at 6:30, which is good for a business hotel, especially the variety of breads is quite attractive.
There are only about 10 parking spaces outside the hotel. Once they are full, you can park in another large parking lot about 60 meters away.

GGuest UserWhat a gem of a place! The special thing about this place is that there are 5 private outdoor onsens as well as a gender-segregated public bath and one mixed gender outdoor bath (for this one, you need to wear a bathing suit). If you are shy of exposing yourself or like taking photos, then those 5 private outdoor onsens are just perfect. I went in the autumn, which is cooling already and I can imagine what a treat it will be in winter with all the snow.
The hotel is located almost to the top of the hill. Either drive or call them ahead and they will pick you up and drop you off in the vicinity.
My room is quaint and Japanese-styled. I didn't pay for the meal package as I knew I'd would be busy trying out all the onsens available. They are all open 24hrs. By the way, private onsen number 1 and 5 are the best and most picturesque!!!
I'm doing all a favor and posting all the pictures of the private onsens.

WWenlianggongziVery satisfied, the bed is very comfortable, we stayed in a Japanese-style house, the dinner is worth recommending, it is very rich and tastes very good, the chef is very skilled. The outdoor onsen was also nice.
ZZoeAbsolutely lovely place. At first I thought I'd be uncomfortable with how spaceous the room was (I'm a very jumpy solo traveller), but the room was just so comfy with an excellent view. The heater was a bit hot, but there was an electric fan too, so all was great.
The hotel allows you to have a free 50 minute private bath each night, and the private baths are amazing, able to accommodate up to five persons and with windows to let in the light and stuff. Excellent onsen water -- very acidic and very hot. Takes some time getting used to the heat, but once you do it's a heavenly experience. There are also public baths (free of charge) that you could enjoy throughout the night and into early morning (they're closed for cleaning only during 9-12 in the morning), one indoor and one outdoor, both connected to one another. The outdoor one is a bit small, but it's so refreshing to be able to flee from the stifling indoor onsen to enjoy the crisp winter air while soaking up in the heat.

SshawndaikiExcellent location short walk from Yamagata station.
A better location might be located on the east side of Yamagata station as there are more food and beverage and convenience stores available.
Dated property but cozy and functional. A man made onsen within the property doesn’t hurt. We also had a rental car and overnight parking was ¥600.
Complimentary breakfast however you must account for time and occupancy, we did not have time to enjoy it due to the lines.
Service was top notch. Hotel was helpful with directions and translation.
A senior lady went the extra mile to assist with contacting next hotel and even considered train timings as well as advising us to stay in Yamagata and not go early as there was nothing available in the next onsen town.
AAnonymous UserI stayed here on a trip from Kyushu.
I was able to spend a comfortable time.
The staff were also greeted calmly and hospitality was full.
The rooms are also neatly arranged, and I am very satisfied with the fact that there was a cold towel in the refrigerator and that I could choose a yukata.
The bath is bright and the large communal bath has not fallen one hair, it is very clean, the hot water is comfortable, and I usually don't take a bath in the morning, but I just entered!
And the meal is very satisfying with dinner and breakfast! It was just right with a gentle taste and not much, not much.
I was able to spend a relaxing time in the lounge. The grapefruit juice was very delicious!
I felt that the whole hotel was worried about detail.
I want to stay again. It was a good memory. Thank you very much.
GGuest UserI made a last-minute reservation the day before and stayed overnight without meals. The hot spring is small, but the water is good and comes directly from the source. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day and we were given the only available room on the first floor, so the location was average. However, the service was good and they accommodated our requests, which I'm very grateful for. The room has a retro feel. The yukata robes they lent us for the kids were cute.
