This year, the Rookie Camps will be held as one-day events across four different locations in the country, one in each province. On December 9th, 2023, the Rookie Camp, Day 1 will take place at the Crowne Plaza Belfast. Following that, on January 13th, 2024, the Rookie Camp, Day 2 will be held at Pairc Ui Chaoimh in Cork. On January 19th, 2024, Day 3 of the Rookie Camp will be hosted at the Radisson Blu in Dublin (airport). Lastly, on January 20th, 2024, Day 4 will take place at the Sligo Park Hotel. The Rookie Camps will cover various themes at each event. In Belfast, the focus will be on resilience and optimism, and in Cork, smart money habits will be discussed. His language resonated with the discontented masses, and many weaver poets in Ulster sought to imitate him, including Samuel Thompson, known as 'The Bard of Carngranny.' Thompson even visited Burns and tried to gain his support for the United Irish newspaper, the Northern Star.
