Mit diesen Fragen beschäftigt sich an diesem Abend die französische Schriftstellerin Constance Debré. Bekannt wurde Debré 2018 mit Play Boy, einem provokanten und präzise beobachtenden Roman, der internationale Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zog und im April in der deutschen Übersetzung erschien. InLove Me Tender (2020) vertiefte sie ihre Auseinandersetzung mit Themen wie Freiheit und Verlust. Ihr jüngstes Buch Nom(2022) führt ihren konsequenten formalen und minimalistischen Ansatz fort. Kritiker*innen loben ihre Sprache für ihre ungewöhnliche Verbindung aus Strenge und emotionaler Resonanz – mal brutal direkt, dann wieder lyrisch leise. Das Studio PERIS+TORAL ARQUITECTES, mit Sitz in Barcelona und bestehend aus Marta Peris und José Toral, widmet sich der Erforschung neuer Wohn- und Bauformen und konzentriert sich dabei auf die Herausforderungen der Klimakrise und des Wohnens. Ihre Arbeit wurde mit Auszeichnungen wie dem Riba International Prize 2024, dem Premio de Arquitectura Española CSCAE 2022 gewürdigt, und sie waren Finalisten des EU Mies Award 2022. Ihre Werke wurden an bedeutenden Orten ausgestellt, wie der Cité de l’Architecture in Paris (2022), der Biennale von Venedig (2016) und der UIA in Tokio (2011), und ihre Veröffentlichungen wurden in nationalen und internationalen Medien verbreitet. Frank Barkow und Regine Leibinger gründeten 1993 ihr Büro in Berlin, das heute rund 70 Mitarbeiter beschäftigt.
