BRONZE (4 sessions) MEMBERSHIP: $180 | SILVER (10 sessions) MEMBERSHIP: $380.00 | *Share with your family and friends. Where: SPACE 2B, 2B Stanley Street, Singapore 068721 Aura-Soma Color essence with Pomander + Crystal Bowls + Gong Sound healing. In chakra symbolism, the lotus is at the crown of the head. Although it appears to grow from a pond’s surface, in reality, the thousand-petaled, cream with pink tips lotus flower grow in the mud. Metaphorically, we could say that despite the mud within ourselves we are able to grow into a beautiful flower. The Jewel in the lotus is part of the blossoming process, helping us come to terms with the muddy water within us. Initially, we must cultivate acceptance, letting the mud settle so that the water may become clearer. It is difficult, yet possible, to attain. This session is useful when we are holding back sorrow, not tending to our own needs, or not recognizing that anger and resentment cause suffering. We may feel unrecognized, we have denied the love that we know we have and so denied that which lies deep within. It is possible that the limitless power of love can lift our consciousness. The self-acceptance, warmth, caring, kindness of pink energy within us bring the possibility of clarity. When we can accept ourselves and allow that which suffers within us to be, what we have searched for is revealed. When we achieve it, that clarity is like a beautiful shining jewel in a lotus blossom. The jewel in the lotus is even more precious than the lotus blossom itself. It is the clear insight to understand the qualities of love and warmth given to ourselves to others, the experience of true self-acceptance and the ability to observe with compassion. This work is using Aura-Soma Color essence, Pomander , plus Crystal Bowls and Gong sound healing. Aura-Soma Color essence carry the energetic qualities of each color. They form a contact between mental and emotional subtle energies of the upper and lower astral fields and the electromagnetic fields immediately around the physical body. The color essence is centering quality that facilitates our connection to the earth, that helps us to be practical and to ground our full being in our intended creative endeavors. All Aura-Soma products contain Crystal essences. It is a perfect matching with Crystal bowls and Gong sound healing to let go the old energies, heal our timeline, ground ourselves and uplifting our energies. We will use Aura-Soma 14 Color essences throughout the classes (different color essence/ each class): 1) The White essence is strongly cleansing and harmonizing on all levels. Over the past century, the Chamber had witnessed the independence of Singapore and other historical developments. Through the display of various artefacts and interactive multimedia, the SCBCH exhibits the history of the Chamber and illustrates the story of the SCCCI Chinese Entrepreneurial Spirit. Visit our website to learn more. [Ongoing Special Exhibition] Home to the Business Community: SCCCI Building Diamond Jubilee Celebration The SCCCI building has stood at 47 Hill Street for over 60 years, standing as a prominent landmark and serving as a home to the Chinese business community. Over its three transformations— Da Fu Di (1873–1962), Chamber building (1964–2017), and the refurbished Chamber building (2022– present)—the structure embodies the SCCCI's values and spirit, representing the concept of “home.” As we mark the 60th anniversary of SCCCI building in 2024, this special exhibition invites reflection on the Chamber’s historical significance and its role in Singapore’s nation-building journey. Concerts
The Contra Band Project began in 2024 as the creative brainchild of Rachma Lim and Ernest Tan as they explored the unique duo arrangement of piano and guitar. In Sarah-Kei Lauw they found a kindred spirit, and the added dimension of a singing voice. Their driving philosophy is to celebrate the passions that unite jazz musicians: a love for spontaneity and for new discoveries. Join them in their 2025 season as they continue to discover the endlessly exciting world of jazz. The Contra Band Project 2.0 includes Bryan De Rozario on tenor saxophone, Nobu Shiraishi on double bass, and Nathaniel Ng on drums. 2025: Seasons In tropical Singapore we find ourselves without seasonal changes to guide the passage of time. We live without falling auburn leaves and technicolour blooms, fresh powdery snow and icy finger waves. With a touch of wistfulness and a sprinkling of wanderlust, we'd like to bring our audiences on a journey away from the equator, where seasons inspire art, generation after generation. ”I’d say that I have spring fever, but I know it isn't spring” Snow is melting in Norway, cherry blossoms are flowering in Japan and tulips are blooming in Holland. Join us at our Spring Session and let us bring you there with songs of hope and awakening. Come add a little colour to your April and a little spring to your step. Doors open at 7pm. 2 Sets at 7:45pm & 9:15pm. Cover Charge $28 for both sets. Information Source: The Jazz Loft @ Blu Jaz | eventbrite
