Adikou fliegt nach Lomé, Togo – dem Herkunftsort ihres Vaters, den sie nicht kennt. Sie weiß nicht, wonach sie sucht, es sind die anderen, die Fragen stellen, Pässe kontrollieren, in den Snacks von Lomé, in Unterkünften, überall. Juli Gilde hat ein neues Lied geschrieben, zusammen mit Songwriter und ehemaligem Wir sind Helden-Mitglied Jean-Michel Tourette. Ein Lied übers Verliebt-sein, im eigenen Gehirn verlaufen, übers U-Bahnfahren und haselbraune Augen. Übers durchdrehen, weil man den ganzen Tag nur an diesen einen, ganz bestimmten Menschen denken kann. Und genauso klingt der Song auch: Schnell, abgedreht, mit der richtigen Prise 2000er-Feeling, glitzernden Synthies und schmetternden E-Gitarren. Die Drums eingespielt von Jan Rentschler, produziert von Chris Trumpf (Jupyter, Eala) hat der Track eine wunderbare Leichtigkeit, die Beine zum Tanzen und Köpfe zum Mitnicken bringt. Irgendwo zwischen Nena, Wir sind Helden und ihrem ganz eigenen Universum findet Juli einen nostalgisch schönen Sound, dem man sommerlang zuhören möchte. Und ganz ehrlich: Wieso eigentlich auch nicht? Juli Gilde über „Wieso Eigentlich?“: „Der Song, auf den wir alle gewartet haben! Ne, Scherz, aber ich mags schon wahnsinnig gern. Diese Priese 2000er Nostalgie, die Jean-Michel Tourette da reingezaubert hat, als wir den Song letztes Jahr in seinem Studio in Hannover geschrieben haben, ist echt fantastisch. Das wirft mich immer zurück in ne Zeit, in der ich mit meinen Eltern und Geschwistern abends mit dem Auto zum See gefahren bin, Fü.e baumeln lassen und im Radio läuft irgendein Wir Sind Helden- Song. Duftbäumchen am Rückspiegel, Badekrokodil im Kofferraum. Sommer halt. In meinem Lied gehts auch ein bisschen um Sommer, aber hauptsächlich um diese Situation, wenn man sich verliebt hat und der andere Mensch einfach nicht aus dem eigenen Kopf verschwinden will. Nervig. Und ein bisschen schön auch.“ Über Juli Gilde: Juli Gilde ist Jahrgang 2002 und vor gut drei Jahren auf der Berliner Bildfläche aufgetaucht. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit haben sich dutzende gestandene Musiker*innen in ihre Stimme und ihr unglaubliches Songwriting-Talent verknallt, so dass Juli mittlerweile mit Künstlern wie Jeremias, Paula Carolina, Moritz Krämer und Francesco Wilking, oder Writern wie David Jürgens an gemeinsamen Songs geschrieben oder für Jeremias oder Element of Crime Support gespielt hat. Julis Texte sind wortgewandt, poetisch und werfen dabei Bilder in die Welt, die man noch nie gehört aber schon tausendmal gefühlt hat. 2022 veröffentlichte Juli ihre erste, eher folkige EP “French Bookwood”, eine Hommage an die Kindheit und Jugend in der Berliner Vorstadt. 2023 folgten mit der EP „Euphorie und Panik!“ und der Single „Rosarot“ schimmernde Indie-Pop-Songs, die an Phoebe Bridgers, 2raumwohnung oder Judith Holofernes erinnern. Juli Gilde hat ein neues Lied geschrieben, zusammen mit Songwriter und ehemaligem Wir sind Helden-Mitglied Jean-Michel Tourette. Ein Lied übers Verliebt-sein, im eigenen Gehirn verlaufen, übers U-Bahnfahren und haselbraune Augen. Übers durchdrehen, weil man den ganzen Tag nur an diesen einen, ganz bestimmten Menschen denken kann. Und genauso klingt der Song auch: Schnell, abgedreht, mit der richtigen Prise 2000er-Feeling, glitzernden Synthies und schmetternden E-Gitarren. Die Drums eingespielt von Jan Rentschler, produziert von Chris Trumpf (Jupyter, Eala) hat der Track eine wunderbare Leichtigkeit, die Beine zum Tanzen und Köpfe zum Mitnicken bringt. Irgendwo zwischen Nena, Wir sind Helden und ihrem ganz eigenen Universum findet Juli einen nostalgisch schönen Sound, dem man sommerlang zuhören möchte. Und ganz ehrlich: Wieso eigentlich auch nicht? Juli Gilde über „Wieso Eigentlich?“: „Der Song, auf den wir alle gewartet haben! Ne, Scherz, aber ich mags schon wahnsinnig gern. Diese Priese 2000er Nostalgie, die Jean-Michel Tourette da reingezaubert hat, als wir den Song letztes Jahr in seinem Studio in Hannover geschrieben haben, ist echt fantastisch. Das wirft mich immer zurück in ne Zeit, in der ich mit meinen Eltern und Geschwistern abends mit dem Auto zum See gefahren bin, Fü.e baumeln lassen und im Radio läuft irgendein Wir Sind Helden- Song. Duftbäumchen am Rückspiegel, Badekrokodil im Kofferraum. Sommer halt. In meinem Lied gehts auch ein bisschen um Sommer, aber hauptsächlich um diese Situation, wenn man sich verliebt hat und der andere Mensch einfach nicht aus dem eigenen Kopf verschwinden will. Nervig. Und ein bisschen schön auch.“ Über Juli Gilde: Juli Gilde ist Jahrgang 2002 und vor gut drei Jahren auf der Berliner Bildfläche aufgetaucht. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit haben sich dutzende gestandene Musiker*innen in ihre Stimme und ihr unglaubliches Songwriting-Talent verknallt, so dass Juli mittlerweile mit Künstlern wie Jeremias, Paula Carolina, Moritz Krämer und Francesco Wilking, oder Writern wie David Jürgens an gemeinsamen Songs geschrieben oder für Jeremias oder Element of Crime Support gespielt hat. Julis Texte sind wortgewandt, poetisch und werfen dabei Bilder in die Welt, die man noch nie gehört aber schon tausendmal gefühlt hat. 2022 veröffentlichte Juli ihre erste, eher folkige EP “French Bookwood”, eine Hommage an die Kindheit und Jugend in der Berliner Vorstadt. 2023 folgten mit der EP „Euphorie und Panik!“ und der Single „Rosarot“ schimmernde Indie-Pop-Songs, die an Phoebe Bridgers, 2raumwohnung oder Judith Holofernes erinnern. Als Mädchen träumten wir alle von der großen Liebe. Schon vor dem Eintritt in die Grundschule begannen wir, unsere Traumhochzeit zu malen; immer und immer wieder. Die Überzeugung, dass wir die Liebe unseres Lebens finden und damit unser Glück erreichen würden, prägte unsere Vorstellung von Beziehungen. Doch wovon träumten wir, bevor wir unser Glück an einem uns damals noch unbekannten Gefühl festmachten? Können wir wahre Erfüllung finden in einer angelernten Eigenschaft? VERLIEBT ist keine Liebesgeschichte, in welcher das Narrativ der Lebens erfüllenden Liebe bestätigt oder zerstört wird. Vielmehr ist es eine tiefgehende Auseinandersetzung mit dem Gefühl selbst. Die Performance ist ein Wiederentdecken der kindlichen Unbefangenheit gegenüber Kitsch und Emotionen, fernab von Zynismus und lädt das Publikum ein, durch die Tagebucheinträge und Gedanken der AutorInnen, sich mit den eigenen Erinnerungen und Emotionen auseinanderzusetzen, Erwartungen zu hinterfragen und die Unschuld und Intensität der kindlichen Sehnsüchte neu zu erleben. Join in a group collage session, focusing on our creativity, emotions, and sharing moments of flow with each other. We will have plenty of time (and materials) to create multiple collages. The focus here is on just DOING, without thinking a lot about the images or shapes we are choosing and creating. I will show a couple different ways that you can approach the materials - ways of cutting, combining, picking. After creating our collages we will do short rounds of sharing about our choices. Sharing, talking and creating together can help us to understand the subtle messages from our subconscious and give us hints on next steps in life. It is often in this moment of talking out loud about our creation that we may realize more definitively why we gravitated towards certain ways of working or certain images. This is also always a great moment to realize how - beautifully -differently we think and create! Sometimes we will also notice life themes that are coming up for multiple people in the group. Also, this evening is meant to be both relaxing and enlivening - so don't worry about previous skills, or performing well, etc. Come as you are. Ein innerer Impuls findet Ausdruck in einer äußeren Bewegung, wird sichtbar im Tanz. Spüre die Freude und das Wohlgefühl, tanzend alles loszulassen und deinen eigenen Ausdruck in der Bewegung zu finden. Es ist keine spezifische Tanzerfahrung erforderlich - lass dich leiten von deinem inneren Empfinden, deiner Resonanz auf die Musik und dem Rhythmus der Trommeln. Was dich erwartet: Wir beginnen mit einer angeleiteten Körperarbeit am Boden und finden von hier aus einen Übergang in die persönliche kreative Bewegungsentfaltung und tänzerische Improvisation im Raum. OIL PAINTING WORKSHOP Have you ever wanted to give oil painting a go but didn’t know where to begin? I have you covered with my oil painting classes for beginners! The winter is dragging on, everywhere and everything is grey and the seasonal affective disorder is really starting to set in. I feel you - I’m originally from Australia. What’s the art class all about? Held in the cozy and creative space ‘Studio 4’, located in Friedrichshain, my oil painting workshop aims to cultivate a creative, stress free afternoon where we will explore light art theory and indulge in a practical art lesson. In this three hour lesson we will explore complementary colour combinations vital to making our work pop, mixing desired colors from scratch, illustration and useful blending techniques. This month's theme centres around organic shapes and therefore we will be focusing on plant life and fruit and vegetables. If there is something different and special you’d like to paint, bring it along! I love and encourage spontaneous creativity. By the end of the class you will have a tangible, handmade A4 original painting to take home. Important to note: While it is not totally necessary, as we are working with oil paint I suggest leaving it at the workspace for 3 - 5 days to allow sufficient dry time. PROVIDED BY THE WORKSHOP: All you need to bring is yourself! All materials are supplied.
