About this courseThis is a painting workshop with the goal of teaching people how to create paintings using either oil colors or acrylics. The total subject lessons consists of around 27 lessons that last 2.5 hours each. You can join at any time during the course. On each lesson the first part will be about theory and exercise and the second one about canvas time. Each participant will have the chance to work on canvas and start making paintings as artworks. All materials are provided by us. Each lesson has a subject. We do not follow a particular order, and every lesson is actually unique and many times personalized. This means that every time the attendess will have to do something new and different. You do not have to paint on canvas and with the mentioned art materials, you can also choose to use any of your wish. Most of the observations and exercises work well with all art materials. It is suitable for beginners and or even professionals who want to rationalize the canvas painting process. It is being hosted by the visual artist Miltos Despoudis. How much does it cost?First lesson try-out costs 17€. You can do that only once. 4 x Lessons Packet(2.5 hours each) cost 120€. In order to participate you need to prepay 4 lessons. Join in a group collage session, focusing on our creativity, emotions, and sharing moments of flow with each other. We will have plenty of time (and materials) to create multiple collages. The focus here is on just DOING, without thinking a lot about the images or shapes we are choosing and creating. I will show a couple different ways that you can approach the materials - ways of cutting, combining, picking. After creating our collages we will do short rounds of sharing about our choices. Sharing, talking and creating together can help us to understand the subtle messages from our subconscious and give us hints on next steps in life. It is often in this moment of talking out loud about our creation that we may realize more definitively why we gravitated towards certain ways of working or certain images. This is also always a great moment to realize how - beautifully -differently we think and create! Sometimes we will also notice life themes that are coming up for multiple people in the group. Also, this evening is meant to be both relaxing and enlivening - so don't worry about previous skills, or performing well, etc. Come as you are. Yoko Ono, eine der bedeutendsten Konzeptkünstlerinnen unserer Zeit, wird dort mit dieser umfassenden Ausstellung geehrt. Ihre Arbeiten sind revolutionär und provokativ – sie hinterfragen Sehgewohnheiten, brechen Konventionen auf und fordern uns dazu auf, die Welt mit anderen Augen zu sehen. Ono lädt die Besucher ein, aktiv zu partizipieren und selbst Teil des kreativen Prozesses zu werden, indem sie Kunst als Dialog zwischen dem Werk und dem Betrachter versteht. „Yoko Ono: Music of the mind“ beleuchtet Ono's visionäre Arbeiten aus sechs Jahrzehnten. Die Ausstellung zeigt, wie sie Klang, Wort und Performance zu einzigartigen Kunsterlebnissen miteinander verwebt. Besonders bemerkenswert sind ihre Werke, die sich mit zentralen Themen wie Frieden, Freiheit und gesellschaftlicher Veränderung befassen. Die Ausstellung stellt die Frage, wie wir als Individuen zur Veränderung der Gesellschaft beitragen können – und wie Kunst dabei als Katalysator fungiert.
