Excellent! It would be even better if they didn't constantly push for good reviews. I really dread being asked to leave a good review; it totally spoils my mood. Honestly, not leaving a comment *is* a good review. Guests are usually in a great mood, but if you badger them on the spot for a review, their mood just tanks. If you do a good job, guests won't give you a bad review anyway.

This hotel was awesome! Great location and the view from the room did not disappoint. The fitout was super cute and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the automatic curtains were a great feature. In the lobby they also offered free tea and coffee which was a lifesaver in the mornings!

The Harmony Oasis Hotel Jiefangbei Branch is a fantastic place to stay - a home away from home. The location is excellent and walking distance to the Jiefangbei area with umpteen restaurants and shops. The service from the hotel staff is 5 stars with helpful tips and lots of smiles. I stayed at the 1 bedroom with a separate living room apartment. The room is very well maintained, fully equipped with a mini kitchen, large refrigerator, microwave oven and washer dryer combo. If ever I return to Chongqing this hotel will be my first choice.

The service attitude was excellent. We booked a stay for May 7th and arrived at the hotel in the early hours of May 7th. Although check-in wasn't until the afternoon, they offered us tea and allowed us to rest on the sofas in the lounge area. They even processed our check-in early, which was incredibly thoughtful for someone returning home on a late-night flight. The environment was also very clean and elegant.

The hotel's location is super convenient! You can access Hongyadong right from the first floor, and Kui Xing Lou is just a quick elevator ride up to the 22nd floor. Jiefangbei and Shibati are all within walking distance, and there are tons of great food options nearby. The only minor drawback is that the elevators can take a little while, probably because so many businesses share the building. Overall, the hotel is pretty good. I really liked that the room had a voice-controlled smart assistant. My only small complaint is that the glass partition in the bathroom is a bit short, making it easy to splash water on the toilet area. The front desk service was also excellent.

I absolutely love this hotel! It's the second time that I stayed here. The staff is extremely helpful. Staff member number 3 was very nice. She answered all of my questions quickly, and when there was a small issue in the room, she sent someone to fix it right away. The food was delicious. The room was very clean and modern. Even with my room facing the street, with the windows closed, it was very quiet. The laundry was handy as well. And the location of the hotel is fantastic, near many fun spots that are easy to walk to. It's honestly my favorite hotel ever, and I've traveled quite a bit.

This stay truly exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we walked in, every staff member greeted us with a warm smile, making us feel incredibly welcome. A special shoutout to the front desk lady who, noticing I had a child with me, proactively upgraded our room and even gave us some toys. It's those little details that show they genuinely care. The room was clean and cozy, and the bedding was super comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. Next time I'm in this city, this hotel will definitely be my top choice!

Chongqing is definitely worth a longer stay, and this hotel's location is superb. Situated at the intersection of Xinhua Road and Zhonghua Road, it's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with convenient transportation. It's within walking distance of popular attractions like Jiefangbei, Shibati Old Street, and the Yangtze River Cableway. Even at 5:30 AM, you can find breakfast along Xinhua Road; my kids loved the steamed buns with savory meat from a small mom-and-pop shop so much, they insisted on having them again before we left. The room facilities were comprehensive, and the view upon entering was simply stunning. The WFC Tower, with its high-altitude observation deck, was right there, along with Qiansimen Bridge and Dongshuimen Bridge. The cross-river cableway and Longmenhao on the South Bank were all visible. At least half of Chongqing's panoramic views were right outside our window! The room itself was well-equipped, spacious, and bright, making us feel right at home. The room service was incredibly attentive and responsive. We joined their group chat upon check-in, and all our requests were met promptly, and any issues were resolved quickly. We had initially planned to stay for two days before heading to Chengdu, but we weren't ready to leave, so we extended our stay for another two days. Since we were leaving early, we packed up our belongings, and the staff arranged for our luggage to be transferred to our new room once it was ready, allowing us to go out worry-free. Thumbs up! 👍 Honestly, choosing this hotel made our entire trip so much more enjoyable; my family all praised my choice for its convenience. Even upon check-out, we received eye masks and local specialty souvenirs. Chongqing truly is a warm and welcoming city! Next time I visit Chongqing, I'll definitely stay here again!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to attractions like Hongyadong, within walking distance. The front desk service is very thoughtful; you can reach out to them anytime if you need anything, and they offer free luggage storage, which is incredibly convenient. PpogbackMy stay in an executive room during this Chongqing trip was absolutely flawless from start to finish. It offered an unparalleled experience, making it an excellent choice for a holiday or extended stay in Chongqing. Everything far exceeded my expectations, providing comfort and a sense of calm throughout. What truly impressed and won me over was the Regent Hotel's meticulous and thoughtful service, easily making it the benchmark for high-end hotel service in Chongqing. From the moment I arrived for check-in, the staff were professional, gentle, and impeccably polite. The doorman warmly greeted me, assisted with parking and luggage, and handled everything with gracious humility. The front desk check-in process was efficient and quick, with staff patiently explaining hotel facilities, guest benefits, and local sightseeing tips. The communication felt natural and comfortable. Throughout my stay, the entire team maintained a high standard of service, responding promptly and thoroughly. Room cleaning was meticulous and attentive, with amenities, mini-bar drinks, and local snacks replenished daily. The room was spotless, tidy, and pleasantly fragrant. All requests were handled quickly and appropriately, with attentive service that wasn't intrusive, perfectly embodying the quality of a top-tier luxury hotel. I felt completely at ease and comfortable the entire time. My executive room had an exceptional overall feel, with an open and airy layout and a spacious ambiance. The decor blended elegant Chinese aesthetics with modern minimalist luxury design, creating a sophisticated yet warm atmosphere. The layout was well-designed, and the soft furnishings were exquisite. The warm lighting created a soothing ambiance. The room's soundproofing was excellent, ensuring quiet and privacy, leading to superb rest. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered unrivaled views of the confluence of the two rivers and the Yuzhong Peninsula cityscape. Whether relaxing or soaking in the tub, I could enjoy the riverside view, immersing myself in the mountainous city's scenery. The bedding was soft, skin-friendly, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, and premium toiletries were well-stocked. The executive room's exclusive mini-bar was refreshed daily with complimentary drinks and snacks. Various thoughtful daily essentials were perfectly provided, with attention to every detail, making for a luxurious and pleasant living experience. The dining experience was equally outstanding, with dishes that excelled in color, aroma, and taste, balancing both quality and flavor. The hotel offered a rich selection of meals, catering to both local Chongqing flavors and exquisite Western cuisine. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of fresh ingredients, including regular Western pastries, hot dishes, congee, and fresh fruit drinks, as well as authentic Chongqing noodles and pea and meat sauce noodles, full of local character. Executive room guests also enjoyed exclusive executive lounge benefits, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. The food was exquisitely prepared and diverse, in a quiet, less crowded setting, offering greater privacy and a full sense of exclusive treatment. Additionally, the hotel's main dining options, specialty hotpot, and the Two Rivers Bar on the 7th floor are all worth experiencing. The ingredients are premium, and the cooking is done with care. The Two Rivers Bar boasts a prime view of the river at night, offering a double delight for both sight and taste with the evening breeze and delicious food. The hotel's public facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained. The high-altitude heated swimming pool was quiet and uncrowded, allowing me to swim while enjoying river views. The gym had professional and well-equipped machinery to meet daily workout needs. The spa and relaxation areas were well-appointed, perfect for unwinding after a tiring journey. The public areas exuded elegant style, with a sophisticated fragrance, creating a tranquil and refined environment where every snapshot looked like a professional photograph. Overall, my impression of the stay was that Regent Chongqing enjoys a prime location with unparalleled views of the two rivers, complemented by impeccable, thoughtful service, excellent dining, a high-quality executive room environment, and comprehensive facilities. Everything was executed to perfection. With the added executive privileges, the overall value for money and comfort were significantly enhanced, creating a tranquil and luxurious sanctuary in the bustling mountain city. Next time I visit Chongqing, Regent Chongqing will still be my top choice, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends traveling or vacationing in Chongqing. It's truly worth revisiting.

JJonaswqThe hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Jiefangbei, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Chongqing’s top attractions. Popular spots like Shibati (18 Steps), Raffles City, Luohan Temple, Kuixing Tower, and Shancheng Alley are all within easy walking distance, while Hongyadong is just a quick 5-minute stroll away. The service was excellent, and the room was well-equipped and comfortable, making for a very pleasant stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

WWonder JoThe overall the experience was decent with some notable pros and cons. On the positive side, the room is of a proper size for two people, with a spacious shower area, design is thoughtful, including space to hang clothes conveniently. The bed is comfortable, and soundproofing is generally tolerable. The location is right in the heart of the tourist area, within walking distance to plenty of food and souvenir shops just downstairs. However, it can get very crowded due to this. Breakfast is acceptable, though not particularly outstanding. One key downside is accessibility. Even when requesting a taxi to drop off at B2 level for easier lift access with luggage, drivers may refuse with various reasons. The alternative route requires carrying luggage up a flight of stairs, and the slope is quite steep, which is not convenient when handling heavier bags (around 20kg). Overall, a comfortable stay in terms of room and location, but accessibility could be challenging for travelers with large luggage.

Ffenghai20As a frequent traveler, my recent stay at Le Méridien Chongqing, Nan'an, truly felt like a home away from home. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I simply have to praise it! First off, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's close to the subway and surrounded by easily accessible transportation, making it a breeze to get to various attractions. For anyone traveling with luggage, this is a huge relief. Despite being in the heart of a bustling commercial area, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat. My room was surprisingly quiet, completely undisturbed by outside noise, which was perfect for a restful sleep. Stepping into the guest room, my immediate impression was how clean and comfortable it was. The decor was cozy yet elegant, and all the bedding and towels were spotless and odorless. Even the corners were meticulously cleaned, showing just how much effort the hotel puts into its housekeeping. The room was fully equipped with everything I needed: the air conditioning, TV, and water heater all worked perfectly. Charging outlets were conveniently placed, and thoughtful additions like shelves and bedside tables showed great attention to detail, meeting all a traveler's needs. Each day after returning from sightseeing, my room was neatly tidied, and drinking water and toiletries were replenished – this level of care truly made me feel valued. The hotel's service was impeccable. From the front desk to the concierge, and from room service to the restaurant staff, everyone was warm and patient. Daisy spoke gently, Nancy was incredibly efficient, and Suki at the guest services center handled requests promptly. Coincidentally, it was my anniversary during my stay, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared welcome fruits and a handwritten blessing card. These small surprises instantly added an extra touch of warmth to my trip. When I accidentally left a small item behind during an outing, I contacted the hotel, and the staff immediately located and safely stored it, patiently explaining how to retrieve it. They were truly dependable. Breakfast was also a fantastic experience. The restaurant environment was clean and bright, with spacious seating. The variety of food was extensive, with hot dishes, cold dishes, main courses, desserts, fruits, and drinks – everything was fresh and delicious. The freshly made Chongqing noodles, in particular, were spicy, savory, and incredibly flavorful – I instantly fell in love and started my day feeling energized. The hotel's public areas were also meticulously maintained. The elevators operated smoothly, and the lobby's resting area was comfortable and spacious. It was a thoughtful touch to be able to sit down and rest my feet or grab a hot cup of water when I was tired. My stay at Le Méridien Chongqing, Nan'an, truly showed me how dedicated the hotel is to each guest. The facilities are excellent, the service is incredibly detailed, and it offers great value for money. Here, I not only had a comfortable stay but also felt a tremendous sense of warmth – it was truly an exceptional travel experience. I've already recommended this hotel to friends planning a trip to Chongqing, and I will definitely choose it again on my next visit!

AAnonymous UserPros: The hotel's location is absolutely top-notch, truly diamond-tier, right in the heart of Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. You step out and you're immediately on Bayi Delicious Street, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Hongyadong and the subway station. As a mid-to-high-end chain hotel under Huazhu Group, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms are guaranteed, and the service is consistently good. It’s an excellent choice for those seeking convenience and peace of mind. The room was cozy and tidy, giving a very comfortable overall impression. Cons: None In short, this was our family's favorite hotel on this trip. We were very satisfied and left with many wonderful memories. The staff and service attitude were, needless to say, exceptionally warm, polite, and efficient, definitely earning more than five stars. Bonus tip: There's a fantastic BBQ joint on the Delicious Street, just across the crosswalk from the hotel (worth checking out if you love BBQ!). Chongqing, I think I'll be back many, many times!

11390581****Booked two rooms with no high expectations, just wanted to bring my family for a hot spring dip. Checked in on a rainy day, and the hotel's overall architectural style, ancient and elegant, exceeded what I'd imagined. The hotel is nestled on a walkway along the Jialing River, offering views of the Zhang Fei Trail on the cliffs across the bank. The Jialing River flows gently amidst lush greenery, a stark contrast to the terrain of the Jiangnan hills, showcasing a resilient and rich landscape. If you want to experience the geomorphology and vegetation of the Sichuan-Chongqing region, this place is truly unique. Now, about the hotel's service. We had a dedicated butler who was responsive and attentive. The staff at the Chinese restaurant, in particular, were exceptional, making us feel right at home and relaxed. You can enjoy the hot springs directly in your room, listening to the rain patter on the banana leaves. Even in winter, there's no need to fly to Kyoto to experience quality hot springs. The short video perfectly captured the vibrant energy of the people from Sichuan and Chongqing.

GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We specifically chose this hotel because of the large windows and the view shown in the photos. However, the room we initially received did not match the pictures at all. The windows were much smaller, and the view from the bed – which was clearly shown in the photos – was not possible in our room. The main issue is that the photos used for this room category are misleading in two ways. First, some of the main photos show floor-to-ceiling glass walls without any frames. We were later told by the staff that such windows do not even exist in the building due to structural reasons. Second, the other photos do show real rooms, but all of them have full glass walls across one side of the room. This was also not the case in the room we received. So overall, the images do not accurately represent what guests actually get when booking this category. We raised this issue and were asked to move rooms the next day, which meant packing everything again during our trip. The new room, however, had almost the same window size and the living area was even smaller, so it felt like a downgrade rather than a solution. After further discussions, we were told that our room corresponds to the booked category. This is exactly the problem: if this is the correct category, then the photos used for advertising are clearly misleading. Eventually, we were told we could move again the next day, so only for the last 2 nights received a room that actually matched what we expected. This means that during a 4-night stay, we had to change rooms twice and slept in three different beds. Unfortunately, while this final room finally matched some of the pictures we saw when booking, it had not been properly cleaned. There was visible dust and quite a lot of hair in the room. At that point, we decided not to raise another complaint, as the whole situation had already taken too much time and energy. Communication with the staff regarding these issues was inconsistent and frustrating. The language barrier probably played a part in it, but we really felt misled by the staff several times. We spent several hours discussing this issue and received different explanations at different times, which made the situation even more confusing. In the end, we were offered a free breakfast on our last morning and compensation of 200 RMB, which we do not consider adequate given the inconvenience of the long discussions, the multiple room changes, and the fact that we spent half of our stay in rooms that did not match what we booked. Overall, the service in handling this issue was poor, and the room presentation on the booking platform does not reliably reflect what guests can expect to receive. While the view itself was undoubtably beautiful because of the high floors the hotel is on, we would recommend other guests to clearly check which room they are booking and to get in touch with the staff before you arrive to confirm you are actually getting a room that matches your expectations.
