Very disappointed for a no. 3 4 stars hotel. Amenities wise, it was lacking in many areas. The sound proofing was very bad, we could hear cars honking the entire time even though we were on floor 23, made it very difficult to stay asleep. The window blinds were too thin, not able to keep the light from coming in. The sliding doors to the shower and bathroom doesn't slide properly. No fridge in the room. No tissue box by the sink. We could smell the cigarette smell from inside the room because they asked guests to smoke at the stairwell but the door to the stairwell was always open and our room was close to the stairwell. Even tho it's a non smoking room. We could smell everything. They had free laundry provided on our floor but everyone uses it and other guests unloaded our things before the drying process was finished. Ended up losing an article of clothing. The elevators took forever to come. Only positive thing is that it's a very convenient location.

Excellent stay - highly recommend for convenience and great service! We had a fantastic experience here. The hotel has a brilliant sense of style and design, making it feel incredibly chic and modern. The service is top-notch and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, very convenient and just a short walk to both Jiefangbei and Jiaochangkou station. The room size was just right for two people, perfectly clean with daily room service, and they accommodated my request for a strict non-smoking room, which I really appreciated. While it's a busy building, the building management handles the elevator traffic well by splitting the lifts between high and low floors, so the lift speed was never an issue for me. Bonus perks: the hotel offers a dobi (laundry) service and they even provide umbrellas for you to borrow on rainy days. Just make sure to return them when you're done! Would definitely stay here again.

Booked this for a friend, and he was really happy with his stay. He mentioned the cleanliness was excellent, with staff proactively asking if anything was needed. His first impression upon entering was that it felt very fresh and comfortable. The service was warm and attentive; he wasn't sure how to use the washing machine, so the housekeeper even arranged for someone to come and patiently show him. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth staying here!

The hotel is conveniently located near Jiefangbei, making it easy to access food, drinks, and entertainment. The wooden-themed rooms are equipped with a smart assistant (Xiao Du), and the self-service laundry room is well-equipped. The basic amenities are complete, thoughtful, and practical. The place is super nice, comfortable, and the staff are friendly!

Highly recommend! The location is superb, right in the Jiefangbei commercial district and close to Hongyadong. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer excellent high-altitude views, allowing you to enjoy the stunning scenery. The room is clean and comfortable. My stay at the Warin Hotel (Jiefangbei Hongyadong Branch) was very satisfying overall. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's within walking distance of Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, and there are plenty of restaurants, shopping malls, and a subway station nearby, making getting around very easy. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I had a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and they promptly assisted with any issues. This hotel offers excellent value for money, making it suitable for both leisure travelers visiting Chongqing and those on business trips. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Chongqing and highly recommend it to everyone!

Service: The service was great! The reception staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, and the cleaning aunties were all very enthusiastic and helpful with any issues. Facilities: I have to give a special shout-out to the toothbrushes – they were excellent! On the downside: 1. Hot water was slow to come out, and the shower water often turned cold. 2. The air conditioning panel seemed faulty and difficult to adjust, requiring staff assistance. Cleanliness: It was quite clean. Environment: We switched to a room with a window, which had better ventilation. I've noticed that in Chongqing, even a tiny opening might be called a window... and the 'inner window' was minuscule... smaller than a prison cell window, honestly. This doesn't really match common expectations. Without a proper window, the room felt stuffy, and since it was newly renovated, the smell was still quite strong. The hotel is located inside an old building, but once you're inside, the environment is perfectly fine. There's a subway station right at the entrance! Suggestions for the hotel next time they communicate with guests: 1. They should specifically inform guests that the accessible elevator and escalator exits are completely different, even if they're both labeled '4A'. 2. There's a skywalk after exiting the 4A escalator, and it seems to have an escalator going up to it (we discovered this after reaching the other side, but aren't certain).

I had a wonderful stay from 28 May to 2 June and would like to express my appreciation to the entire team for their exceptional hospitality. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was warm, friendly, and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to an Executive Suite, which was incredibly spacious, consisting of two connected bedrooms and two bathrooms. The suite was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is also excellent. It is conveniently situated right next to the street market, making it easy to explore local food and shopping. At night, the area comes alive with beautiful lights and a vibrant atmosphere, creating a lively and enjoyable experience just steps away from the hotel. The front desk team was always helpful and attentive, assisting us with any requests promptly and professionally. Room service was efficient, and everything we needed was delivered quickly. A special thank you to 小田 and 小琴 for going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, even assisting us with ordering ******* deliveries, which made our trip much more convenient. The genuine warmth and excellent service from the staff truly made us feel at home. Thank you for making our stay such an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Excellent location in the heart of the lively (and very touristy) Yuzhong district. Very well served by public transport. Easy access from the train station. A very warm welcome from the reception staff. The room I was given (17th floor) was perfect. Spacious, well-furnished and equipped, bright, clean, and comfortable. A quiet and pleasant place if you're not constantly sightseeing. Beautiful view of the city. Very good quality bedding. Very clean and comfortable sheets, duvets, and pillows. Good-sized bathroom. Very clean as well. Good quality bath towels. The wall-mounted towel/clothes rack is poorly placed above the toilet, which is neither practical nor hygienic. And the electric towel warmer wasn't working. The room is equipped with a hairdryer, electric kettle, small refrigerator, garment steamer, and small safe. Bottled water is provided daily. In addition to coffee (in the morning) and herbal tea (all day) available in the spacious lobby with its river view, there is also a microwave and ice maker. The room's Wi-Fi was excellent. The lighting was good, and the electrical outlets were compatible with European plugs without the need for an adapter. USB ports were also available. The central air conditioning was efficient and quiet. There was a large wall mirror at the entrance to the room. Drawbacks: 1. As a non-smoker, and having specifically requested a non-smoking room in my reservation, I found the lingering smell of smoke in the room upon arrival very unpleasant. 2. There was no dedicated luggage storage, as is common in many hotels in China; therefore, luggage was left open on the floor for the entire stay. 4. It's a shame there wasn't a small armchair and table to furnish the small mezzanine area of the room to better enjoy the view and the room's space. Bonus: Laundry service with four self-service washing machines on the 18th floor. Detergent provided. I really liked the drying area equipped with portable electric dryers, which are less damaging to clothes than regular tumble dryers. Breakfast restaurant: this is the only downside. Located on the 15th floor of the building (which houses several hotels). Buffet breakfast from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. The place is cozy with a lovely view. However, depending on the day and time of day, it can be cramped and noisy, too small to comfortably accommodate all the guests without enough proper high tables. As a result, I ended up having to share my table with noisy people chewing and burping, when all I wanted was to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. The buffet wasn't extraordinary, but it was decent and well-stocked. The gym area is in the same room, separated by a half-wall (I'm not even sure I can call it a gym when there are only four machines crammed together with no space around them, and where the food bin and the restaurant's dirty dish cart are also located. Forget about getting a workout in the morning!). It's a shame they don't offer a better, quieter breakfast area for this crucial moment at the start of the day. Overall, the value for money is still quite good, even if it's significantly more expensive than Chengdu, for example, for a hotel of the same standard.

PpogbackMy stay in an executive room during this Chongqing trip was absolutely flawless from start to finish. It offered an unparalleled experience, making it an excellent choice for a holiday or extended stay in Chongqing. Everything far exceeded my expectations, providing comfort and a sense of calm throughout. What truly impressed and won me over was the Regent Hotel's meticulous and thoughtful service, easily making it the benchmark for high-end hotel service in Chongqing. From the moment I arrived for check-in, the staff were professional, gentle, and impeccably polite. The doorman warmly greeted me, assisted with parking and luggage, and handled everything with gracious humility. The front desk check-in process was efficient and quick, with staff patiently explaining hotel facilities, guest benefits, and local sightseeing tips. The communication felt natural and comfortable. Throughout my stay, the entire team maintained a high standard of service, responding promptly and thoroughly. Room cleaning was meticulous and attentive, with amenities, mini-bar drinks, and local snacks replenished daily. The room was spotless, tidy, and pleasantly fragrant. All requests were handled quickly and appropriately, with attentive service that wasn't intrusive, perfectly embodying the quality of a top-tier luxury hotel. I felt completely at ease and comfortable the entire time. My executive room had an exceptional overall feel, with an open and airy layout and a spacious ambiance. The decor blended elegant Chinese aesthetics with modern minimalist luxury design, creating a sophisticated yet warm atmosphere. The layout was well-designed, and the soft furnishings were exquisite. The warm lighting created a soothing ambiance. The room's soundproofing was excellent, ensuring quiet and privacy, leading to superb rest. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered unrivaled views of the confluence of the two rivers and the Yuzhong Peninsula cityscape. Whether relaxing or soaking in the tub, I could enjoy the riverside view, immersing myself in the mountainous city's scenery. The bedding was soft, skin-friendly, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, and premium toiletries were well-stocked. The executive room's exclusive mini-bar was refreshed daily with complimentary drinks and snacks. Various thoughtful daily essentials were perfectly provided, with attention to every detail, making for a luxurious and pleasant living experience. The dining experience was equally outstanding, with dishes that excelled in color, aroma, and taste, balancing both quality and flavor. The hotel offered a rich selection of meals, catering to both local Chongqing flavors and exquisite Western cuisine. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of fresh ingredients, including regular Western pastries, hot dishes, congee, and fresh fruit drinks, as well as authentic Chongqing noodles and pea and meat sauce noodles, full of local character. Executive room guests also enjoyed exclusive executive lounge benefits, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. The food was exquisitely prepared and diverse, in a quiet, less crowded setting, offering greater privacy and a full sense of exclusive treatment. Additionally, the hotel's main dining options, specialty hotpot, and the Two Rivers Bar on the 7th floor are all worth experiencing. The ingredients are premium, and the cooking is done with care. The Two Rivers Bar boasts a prime view of the river at night, offering a double delight for both sight and taste with the evening breeze and delicious food. The hotel's public facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained. The high-altitude heated swimming pool was quiet and uncrowded, allowing me to swim while enjoying river views. The gym had professional and well-equipped machinery to meet daily workout needs. The spa and relaxation areas were well-appointed, perfect for unwinding after a tiring journey. The public areas exuded elegant style, with a sophisticated fragrance, creating a tranquil and refined environment where every snapshot looked like a professional photograph. Overall, my impression of the stay was that Regent Chongqing enjoys a prime location with unparalleled views of the two rivers, complemented by impeccable, thoughtful service, excellent dining, a high-quality executive room environment, and comprehensive facilities. Everything was executed to perfection. With the added executive privileges, the overall value for money and comfort were significantly enhanced, creating a tranquil and luxurious sanctuary in the bustling mountain city. Next time I visit Chongqing, Regent Chongqing will still be my top choice, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends traveling or vacationing in Chongqing. It's truly worth revisiting.

GGuli*shiqiI saw this place on ** and decided to book it, and it turned out to be great, exactly as described on **. First, the location is a huge plus. Step out the door, and to your left is the famous Hongyadong in Chongqing, a popular photo spot that you can even see from the hotel. It's only a 3-minute walk to Jiefangbei. Although the lobby is on the 25th floor, it doesn't affect check-in. The rooms are newly renovated and even come with pre-prepared coffee capsules, which is excellent for coffee lovers. I especially want to mention the hotel's linens; they are incredibly soft and comfortable to sleep under. After a day of sightseeing, a good night's sleep here is simply wonderful. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserAs a Marriott 'boutique' brand, the Moxy Chongqing truly exceeded my expectations! The overall vibe is relaxed and vibrant. On the 29th floor, there are arcade games and board games, so waiting to check-in was far from boring. The room design is very thoughtful; the folding table and coat hooks are practical and save space, and there are plenty of USB ports, making charging super convenient. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry room are such thoughtful touches – no worries at all about laundry when you're on a business trip or vacation. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, even offering local Chongqing noodles, really showcasing the local flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive to requests, and the late check-out option was a very humane touch!

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Le Méridien Chongqing, Nanchuan! It's located right in the Nanchuan Wanda business district, next to Line 3's Gongmao Station, making it super convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Plus, there's a one-stop shop for food and shopping right downstairs. As expected from a Marriott property, the quality is top-notch. The lobby has high ceilings and a strong artistic vibe, and the spiral staircase is fantastic for photos. The rooms are spacious and bright with separate wet and dry areas, and the amenities are premium. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views and stunning nightscapes. Sara and Daisy provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service – always smiling, enthusiastic, and quick to respond. The breakfast spread was excellent, a rich mix of Western and Chinese options, making for a perfect experience. It's ideal for both business trips and leisure travel. I was extremely satisfied with my stay!

GGuest UserCame to Chongqing for a concert and after doing some research and comparisons, I decided on the Mercure Hotel Jiefangbei. The transportation is indeed convenient, it's very close to the subway station, making it easy to get anywhere, and there's a food street right outside. The room was very clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff were really enthusiastic. My original room was near some equipment platforms and had noise, but after I reported it, they immediately and seamlessly moved me to a higher floor. The soundproofing was also great, and I slept soundly until morning! Afternoon tea, fruit, and a gift bag with local specialties – so thoughtful!

GGuest UserThe Banyan Tree Chongqing Beibei is located right within the Old North Hot Spring Park, a place famous for its 'Ba Mountains Night Rain' and as the 'Homeland of Hot Springs.' It's a must-visit, especially for the ancient North Hot Springs, which is surrounded by lush greenery and a thousand-year-old hot spring temple. It offers a very serene and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and clearing your mind. The private hot spring on the room's balcony is incredibly comfortable and great for alleviating fatigue. Owen provided exceptional service. The hotel's design is very distinctive, with every room offering views of the Jialing River.

BBpflugradVery nice and spacious room. Our room had a bath tub front and center. The bed was very comfortable. Daily housekeeping was great The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff will book tickets for local events and tours, and inform you when your booking is confirmed. Breakfast was very good for the price. We have not been booking with included breakfast but ended up buying it twice during our stay. The hotel is right near the end of transit Line 1 (Red), the Chaotianmen stop, which is extremely convenient. Only caveat is be prepared to use a translation app when communicating with some of the staff. We did not expect English fluency so this was not a problem, but you might be confused by Trip.com saying English speaking staff. The staff was very patient with us and all our needs were met.
