This hotel directly faces Chongqing's stunning 'cyberpunk' nightscape – it's absolutely breathtaking! Located right at Xiaoshizi near Jiefangbei, it's an easy walk to Hongyadong, the Yangtze River Cableway, and Raffles City, making sightseeing and dining incredibly convenient. The view from the hotel window is amazing; you can see the misty mountain city during the day and the entire city illuminated at night. The bathtub is right by the window, facing the river view, so you can relax in a bath while overlooking the spectacular Qiansimen Bridge. The unique cave-like design is super novel, the room is clean and smart, and the soft bedding ensures a great night's sleep. Downstairs, you'll find hot pot restaurants and a snack street, so authentic Chongqing food is right at your doorstep. It's perfect for dates, girls' trips, photo ops, and vacations. When you come to Chongqing, choose this place for a unique and comfortable mountain city experience!

Location is great as it is in the shopping area. Our butler Moon made us feel welcome and attended to all our needs. Highlight was the Storm Spa and the half hour photography session where the photographer communicates with us using gestures as we don't speak Chinese. Overall a good stay for anyone visiting Chongqing on vacation

Booked this high-rise 'magical' hotel through Trip.com. The environment, price, and service were all pretty good. They even offered free food and complimentary luggage delivery to the airport – really paid attention to the details! The best part is: The ground floor is only 200 meters from Hongyadong. You can stroll along the riverside and see countless cruise ships; the river view is absolutely stunning! I thought taking the elevator to the 22nd floor was the highest point, but when you step out, you're suddenly at street level on Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. This is truly the 8D magical hotel everyone talks about online, highly recommended!

This hotel booking was absolutely perfect! ① Location: It's less than 200 meters from Qixinggang Metro Station (Line 1), and within walking distance to Jiefangbei, Shancheng Lane, and Shibati. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby. ② Bedding: The bedding was incredibly comfortable; good quality bedding makes such a difference to sleep. ③ Smart Features: The smart voice control, smart toilet, and even the slippers were excellent. The shower facilities were also top-notch. It's clear the hotel put a lot of thought into their selections. ④ Style: The hotel has a very elegant Song Dynasty-inspired decor. ⑤ Service: The service was incredibly attentive and showed genuine care for guests. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and wish the hotel great success! I'll definitely be recommending it to my friends.

Stayed 4 nights in this hotel which is well located right above Jiefangbei. The hotel is located in Xinhua International building which has several different hotels on different floors. Close proximity within walking distance to Jiaochangkou and Lingjiangmen metro station. Lots of shops, malls, restaurants, street food and night markets around the hotel. Very convenient location and you can walk to Hongya Cave from the hotel. Room is clean and high floor (we were on level 46) with a great view of the Jiefangbei pedestrian street downstairs. There is a projector tv in the room. There is no laundry room but u can pay CNY48 for unlimited laundry service (wash and dry) by the hotel. Just drop off and pick up your clothes from the hotel reception after the laundry is done. Much more convenient than self service laundry. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent location in the heart of the lively (and very touristy) Yuzhong district. Very well served by public transport. Easy access from the train station. A very warm welcome from the reception staff. The room I was given (17th floor) was perfect. Spacious, well-furnished and equipped, bright, clean, and comfortable. A quiet and pleasant place if you're not constantly sightseeing. Beautiful view of the city. Very good quality bedding. Very clean and comfortable sheets, duvets, and pillows. Good-sized bathroom. Very clean as well. Good quality bath towels. The wall-mounted towel/clothes rack is poorly placed above the toilet, which is neither practical nor hygienic. And the electric towel warmer wasn't working. The room is equipped with a hairdryer, electric kettle, small refrigerator, garment steamer, and small safe. Bottled water is provided daily. In addition to coffee (in the morning) and herbal tea (all day) available in the spacious lobby with its river view, there is also a microwave and ice maker. The room's Wi-Fi was excellent. The lighting was good, and the electrical outlets were compatible with European plugs without the need for an adapter. USB ports were also available. The central air conditioning was efficient and quiet. There was a large wall mirror at the entrance to the room. Drawbacks: 1. As a non-smoker, and having specifically requested a non-smoking room in my reservation, I found the lingering smell of smoke in the room upon arrival very unpleasant. 2. There was no dedicated luggage storage, as is common in many hotels in China; therefore, luggage was left open on the floor for the entire stay. 4. It's a shame there wasn't a small armchair and table to furnish the small mezzanine area of the room to better enjoy the view and the room's space. Bonus: Laundry service with four self-service washing machines on the 18th floor. Detergent provided. I really liked the drying area equipped with portable electric dryers, which are less damaging to clothes than regular tumble dryers. Breakfast restaurant: this is the only downside. Located on the 15th floor of the building (which houses several hotels). Buffet breakfast from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. The place is cozy with a lovely view. However, depending on the day and time of day, it can be cramped and noisy, too small to comfortably accommodate all the guests without enough proper high tables. As a result, I ended up having to share my table with noisy people chewing and burping, when all I wanted was to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. The buffet wasn't extraordinary, but it was decent and well-stocked. The gym area is in the same room, separated by a half-wall (I'm not even sure I can call it a gym when there are only four machines crammed together with no space around them, and where the food bin and the restaurant's dirty dish cart are also located. Forget about getting a workout in the morning!). It's a shame they don't offer a better, quieter breakfast area for this crucial moment at the start of the day. Overall, the value for money is still quite good, even if it's significantly more expensive than Chengdu, for example, for a hotel of the same standard.

Seriously, this hotel is amazing! 💛 Honestly, for the price, it's incredibly good value for money. Their service is super attentive; whatever you need, they take it seriously. I forgot my charger, and they brought one right up to me, and everything was always refilled. We were rushing for our flight, and they kindly helped us bring our luggage downstairs and waited for us. I genuinely recommend this place; this positive review comes straight from my own experience and feelings! ☝️

Facilities: Simple yet sophisticated. The overall design is minimalist, but the furniture, lighting, and bedding are all high-end brands, consistent with Ascott's style. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Located above Raffles City, with Chaotianmen Pier right downstairs, offering beautiful night views. It's within walking distance to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Service: Staff are proactive in greeting guests, and check-in at the front desk is very efficient. Overall, the value for money is excellent among Ascott properties in China. While the breakfast selection isn't extensive, the quality is very good. There are also many international guests staying here.

The room was really stylish, spacious, and bright, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – once you lay down, you won't want to get up! It had all the amenities you could need, including a washing machine with a dryer, which was super convenient. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, making for a great stay. I asked the butler for two more hangers, as there weren't enough, and they responded promptly to my request. I recommend booking a higher floor if possible; the floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unbeatable view.

The hotel's location is superb, making it very convenient for getting around. It's right across from Raffles City, a landmark building. The staff are incredibly helpful and provide excellent service. They were super prompt and efficient with handling luggage and delivering items. Overall, I would still highly recommend this hotel. The service was so good it felt like great value for money. The room was also fantastic.

TTaleTellAbsolutely loved my stay at Regent Chongqing during Chinese New Year! It was such an emotional boost. Every morning I’d spend ages in the restaurant, just feasting (so good!). Waiting for the lion dance and various gods to appear, and getting red envelopes from them (the lions and gods would interact with guests at each table in the restaurant). The breakfast pastries had different delightful touches every day, which made me so happy. In the evenings, the two bars had incredible views, giving off a vibe of extravagant decadence. I just loved indulging and chilling out every day. Service was truly responsive to every request, always thorough, patient, gentle, and never annoyed. They were there whenever you needed them, but without being overly enthusiastic or overwhelming. The balance was just perfect – that’s a huge plus! On checkout day, an important document accidentally blew under the car. The security guard and the manager at the entrance got down on the ground, blowing and fishing it out for me. Super impressive! I have to praise the complimentary Chongqing noodles in the room. Regent's noodles really do have a unique texture! They’re something special! I had to slurp down a bowl every morning at breakfast. When I left, I ended up buying three extra boxes… These few days in the bustling city of Chongqing were truly joyful! Everywhere I went, I had this illusion that I was about to become rich (just kidding, but not really). The massive golden tree, the auspicious lions, all sorts of gold ingots, gold coin chocolates, a well-stocked mini-bar with drinks, and various Chongqing snacks provided daily! As someone in advertising, I have to say the ambiance here is masterfully done. The brand positioning is so well maintained. Full of emotional value ✅. PS. The room facilities are new and complete, and cleanliness is excellent, no complaints. If I had to pick something, maybe the central air conditioning was a bit too warm. 🏨 Text and images ✅ Copyright 🚫 No copying, reposting, or derivative works.

JJinghuashuiyue3936I looked at several hotels near Jiefangbei and ultimately chose this one, staying for three nights. It definitely turned out to be the right choice. I was initially worried that staying near Jiefangbei might affect my sleep, but this place was very quiet at night, probably because of the high floor. The room was spacious, and the sheets and duvet covers were super soft; they didn't make any noise when I moved around. The pillow was the most comfortable I've found after staying in many hotels. By the way, could you tell me the brand of the memory foam pillow you provide? I seriously need to buy one. The breakfast selection was relatively rich, and eating breakfast with a view of the river from a window seat was a great start to the day. Most importantly, getting around was incredibly convenient. Popular spots like Hongyadong, Kuixinglou, and Xiahaoli were just a short walk or a single subway stop away. There were so many dining options around the hotel – local specialty snacks, Chayan Yuese, and Li Ruotao were all just a stone's throw away. Plus, there's a supermarket and a large pharmacy just downstairs. All in all, it had everything I needed – a perfect hotel.

CCake TequilaThe hotel's location is fantastic, right by Jiefangbei, and there's a CHAYAN YUESE (tea shop) right next door. The decor has a W-hotel vibe, which is really unique. The service is warm and friendly, and the breakfast is decent, even featuring Chongqing noodles. There's a revolving restaurant on the top floor. A great perk in the room is that the USB ports on the outlets support fast charging, but unfortunately, the TV doesn't support screen mirroring.

HHuifeideniu168The service at Le Méridien Chongqing, Fuli, is top-notch and highly professional. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and all my questions were answered clearly. Room service was prompt and attentive, with thorough cleaning that didn't disrupt my stay. The dining area staff were polite, proactive, yet discreet. Throughout my stay, the service procedures were standardized, and the staff were friendly and patient. They responded quickly to my requests, showing excellent judgment. The facilities were well-maintained and functional, and the cleanliness met high standards, which was reassuring. There was no excessive upselling, making for a fair and comfortable experience. It's suitable for both business travel and casual stays, offering outstanding value for money.

Ddimych1969I give the hotel a solid 10 for its location. You can easily walk to all the famous locations around. Our room was on the 29th floor, which was an added bonus. In the evening, you can enjoy a fantastic view of part of the city, although many buildings turn off their lights at 10 p.m. The cleaning is always different, it seems to depend on the staff change. Sometimes they would remake the bed, change the slippers and towels, and sometimes they would shake our bedspread and put it back on top, crumpled. Once, I asked the receptionist about the TV remotes and the loose-fitting door to our room. They simply replaced the batteries and suggested placing a cloth between the door and the frame to prevent it from swinging. I didn't like this moment. On the website Trip.com in the description of the hotel, it is indicated that there is an assistance service for buying tickets to different locations. When we asked about this, we were simply led to an employee of the travel agency with all the consequences. In many cities of China, in other hotels, the staff really helped us buy tickets through We Chat If it weren't for minor issues, I would rate this hotel as excellent, with a prime location.

GGuest UserWe received a very warm welcome when we checked in at the hotel before 2 pm. on 13 Apr 2026. We were pleasantly surprised that the Concierge gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room at higher floor. We were elderly couple travellingg in China on our own and did not have a China hp nos. Realising our situation, one of the hotel staff , Miss小周 linked her Wechat contact to mine. In case we need help outside the hotel we can contact her for help 24/7. How wonderful! The hotel is centrally located, room was clean and well kept though a little dated. Breakfast has very good spread. Overall, this hotel is value for money. Staff were polite, helpful and efficient. We will definitely choose this hotel during our future trip to Chongqing.

GGuest UserStaying at Bolian Resort truly felt luxurious. This was my first time experiencing a high end resort in China, and I chose Bolian over other options in the area, including Banyan Tree Hot Springs, with very high expectations. While it is not perfect, I’m glad to say that it does meet the standards of a luxury resort. The level of service and attention to detail, even with the language barrier, was comparable to what I’ve experienced at other top tier hotels like Park Hyatt. First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the staff for fulfilling my personal request to have berries and chocolate prepared in my room. What really touched me was the towel art and flower petal decorations on the bed, thoughtfully arranged to mark a very personal occasion, which was celebrating my mental health recovery. Seeing the Mandarin character for “happy” placed on the bed felt very endearing. It was a small gesture, but one that felt genuinely kind and thoughtful. Other aspects of the service were just as impressive. While I was away enjoying the Bolian hot spring spa, the staff prepared my room for the evening by lighting all the mini candles, mopping the floor, and creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere for my return. That level of attention to detail really stood out. That said, I did notice a small oversight. The tea filter I had used for my pu’er tea was still left in the sink, which suggested that housekeeping may have been rushing, possibly knowing I would be returning sooner than expected. It was minor, but noticeable in an otherwise polished experience. The hot spring amenities, both in the room and around the resort, were amazing. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. I also appreciated how attentive the staff were at night, especially when guests were walking along the hot spring paths in the dark. The unexpected room upgrade was a lovely surprise as well, so thank you for that. Overall, I had a very pleasant and restorative stay. However, one thing that really affected my experience was the breakfast. The breakfast was honestly disappointing for a resort of this standard. The options were limited, the presentation was not great, and the overall quality fell short of expectations. I have uploaded photos with this review in the hope that management can improve this area. To be frank, breakfast took away from what was otherwise a wonderful stay. Being served ONE CHICKEN FOOT as part of the spread was highly amusing, but not in a good way. I have had much better Chongqing noodles and dim sum at local eateries for a fraction of the price. For a meal priced at around 200 yuan, it felt hard to justify......This is where people often say not to eat at five star hotels because the better food is usually found on the streets. It was disappointing that Bolian’s breakfast ended up reinforcing this stereotype... In summary, Bolian Resort shines when it comes to service, atmosphere, attentiveness, and hot spring facilities. With a serious improvement to the breakfast, it could easily become a truly excellent luxury experience.

TTones from AustraliaWe stayed at Maiyue Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome, but a special mention must go to Mia, who went above and beyond to help us. She assisted extensively with organising our transport to the airport and took care of our luggage with such efficiency and warmth – it made our departure stress-free. The hotel itself is in a great location, convenient for exploring the area, and perfect for families. Travelling as a family of five from Australia, we often find it challenging to get the right level of service and space, but Maiyue Hotel ticked all the boxes. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff genuinely cared about our stay. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines excellent service, a central location, and a family-friendly vibe – especially for larger families – look no further. Thank you to Mia and the whole team for a memorable stay. We would happily return.
