Perfect hotel for exploring the Tianmen mountain, the cableway station is literally just crossing the street. Also perfect for going to the Zhangjiajie park, either south or east gate. The only thing they should improve is the quality of the western breakfast options, for a hotel like this one would expect better quality, but the overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

An absolutely delightful stay at InterContinental! Location: The hotel is perfectly situated at the confluence of the Liuyang and Xiang Rivers, right next to Beichenhui Joy City. There's a direct walkway from the hotel lobby into the mall, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also a comfortable 5-7 minute walk to Beichen Delta Metro Station, passing other malls like Fenghuanghai along the way. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with plenty of local eateries on the ground floor shops. Room: As a member celebrating a birthday, I was upgraded to a balcony room directly overlooking the Xiang River. The view was expansive and unobstructed. The 270° balcony essentially offered panoramic views. Unfortunately, it rained heavily in Changsha over the weekend, so visibility was poor due to heavy mist during the day, though it improved slightly in the afternoon and evening. From the lounge, you can enjoy views of the Changsha Library area, or step out onto the outdoor balcony for a different perspective. Ambiance: The facilities are still very new. The lobby bar is spacious, and the first-floor breakfast restaurant had far more seating than I anticipated. The overall decor is very stylish. It's also very comfortable to just sit and relax in the first-floor lobby. Food: I experienced the lounge's happy hour, breakfast, and the main lobby breakfast. They offered local specialties like liangfen (cold noodles) and rice noodles. There was a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. The Western selection had a good number of delicious baked goods. The bar was quite busy in the mornings with many people getting coffee and tea. Service: The service was incredibly warm, meticulous, and professional. During check-in, the front desk staff introduced us to all the hotel's functional areas and features. A special thank you to Cathy for her outstanding contribution to our stay. Since we were celebrating my partner's birthday, Cathy thoughtfully arranged decorations and a welcome dessert for us. Throughout our stay, she responded to our inquiries quickly and professionally and actively addressed my previous requests. My partner described the entire stay as comfortable, surprising, and heartwarming. Once again, thank you to Cathy for her professionalism and dedication. And thanks to all the staff for their service, which made us feel right at home. I'm very much looking forward to returning to InterContinental Beichen when the mountains are ablaze with autumn colors!

The hotel is good. Can’t say it excellent because it could be cleaner in the room. But the staff is really nice and helpful! They picked up and dropped us off at the railway station which was very nice of them. The breakfast was tasty. The second day we left early and they packed the food for us. I washed my clothes there, a worker helped me with the washing machine. I may stay there the next time I visit

Five-star rating | Sheraton Changde Stay Experience Beyond satisfied! The front desk service was warm and efficient, making for a seamless check-in. The room was spacious and tidy, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering lake views, and the Sweet Sleeper bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was extensive, and the Changde rice noodles were absolutely amazing. The 24-hour gym and pool facilities were complete, offering a fantastic experience. The location is close to Wanda Plaza, making travel and dining super convenient. I'll definitely come again!

Great hotel very close to Tianmen Mountain. The room was super clean and had plenty of amenities. They even upgraded my room, which was a nice surprise. They also offer free transport to Tianmen Mountain and a free airport pickup service, which made everything much easier. Highly recommended!

What truly stood out during this stay was the thoughtful care from our service manager. Before we even arrived, she sent detailed directions and location info, even marking landmarks because she was worried we might get lost. She patiently answered all our questions during our communication, never once being perfunctory. The hotel facilities are very new, the room was spotless, the bathroom had no odors, and the public areas were clean and bright. For this price, the environment and service offer incredible value for money. When checking out, I happened to catch her on duty. She smiled, said goodbye, and even reminded me to watch my luggage, which instantly gave me a feeling of warmth, like family. I've stayed in many hotels, and such meticulous and considerate service is truly rare. I highly recommend it; I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Staying here is like staying at a friends house. It might not be superclean, and the breakfast might not be superexciting, but you are só welcome. The staff is the most wonderful you'll ever meet on your travels, they help you set routes in the parc (listen to them, they know all the tricks) and try to make your exploring perfect. The hotel has more of a ”hostel” vibe, then a ”hotel” vibe, but for us, that was a big plus. You can wash your clothes after a long day exploring the mountaintrails, your bed is supercomfy, the shower is hot and you get a clean towel everyday. The pool is just nice to see, in the winter.. probably nobody swims in it. But yes, beautiful. There is a terrifying glass rooftop terrace, might (for some) also be terrific, but i stayed on my own level, which was cozy and perfect. Would recommend this place if you like hostels, but also the benefits of a private room, want to explore the national forest and caves, and be able to wash and dry your clothes for your next day adventure.

This hotel was wonderful. Room was fantastic and mostly the staff was amazing! I raise my hat to Wu and Gu who assisted me during all my stay providing me connections to my tours and all surrounding communities. Since the weather was at the greatest for sightseeing; I’ll definitely have to comeback to visit again and this hotel would be again one of my first choice.🥰🙏 thank you again for this great experience.

This is a very good hotel, and I recommend it. The service is top-notch, and the rooms are very pleasant and spacious. I really enjoyed the breakfast. The staff is very polite. I would like to express my gratitude to the administrator, Kelly. After staying at this hotel, we booked two more hotels in other cities during the same trip.

Received very good service from the hotel’s butler Lily. She helped us book the attraction tickets and explained the routes to us in detail. As we were not used to the local food. She went out of the way to help us arrange for MacDonald food delivery. I booked the executive queen room and got room 1501 on the highest floor. Room was of good size with nice view. Bed is comfortable. Only issue is the water heater needs to be fix. It was ok on my first day but it wasn’t as strong on the 2nd. I have informed the hotel to look into it. Breakfast is good
