"The room was very quiet and I didn’t dare to speak loudly. The environment was also very good. The door opened to the sea. It was pet-friendly and the staff were very attentive. The pizza in the pizzeria was authentic Napoli pizza and tasted great (personally I think it is more cost-effective than the buffet). It was the first time I only stayed for two nights, which didn't feel like it was enough. At least two days and three nights would be the starting point. In terms of transportation, it is best to drive, followed by train and taxi. The swimming pool is very clean, the beach is also very clean, and you can even see a lot of fish"

"A very cost-effective hotel with its own underground parking lot (free). Before checking in, park your car at the main entrance of the hotel (only temporary parking). After getting the room card, you can swipe the room card and lift the barrier to enter the underground parking lot (the same entrance for both entry and exit). The hotel has a good restaurant. There is a gas station at the entrance (really at the entrance), and a large supermarket next door. The room is clean, tidy and spacious, with a single bed at the entrance, so it is also suitable for three people to travel and live. The breakfast is rich, delicious and fresh. It is the best choice for next time you come to Modica."

"I was expecting a villa with a pool like the one in the first photo, but it turned out to be in a small village. The room was very basic, but everything worked properly, the bed was fine, and the linens were clean. Dinner was delicious, as was the good breakfast, with lots of pastries, omelets, sausage, and cheese. There weren't enough vegetables for me, as I don't eat pastries; I would have liked an omelet with vegetables. The hotel is for the elderly. We had a lot of old ladies with us! It was a true paradise for them. They even served soaked prunes for breakfast."

"Grand Hotel Baia Verde is a nice resort hotel.  Unfortunately we came in the off season so some amenities like the pool and access to the sea were not available.  Our room was a recently renovated room and was very clean with a balcony.  The views in the morning were fantastic watching the sun rise up over the sea.  It’s about a 20 minute drive into the centre of Catania. Mount Etna is about a 40 minute drive  Would not recommend staying here unless you have a car, there isn’t much in walking distance apart from other hotels.   Staff were pleasant and helpful.  Breakfast buffet was wonderful and the hotel bar was also nice.  Hotel grounds were well kept and very scenic. Parking is onsite in a secure lot."

"Отличный отель, стоит каждого потраченного евро. Хорошее расположение, зелёная территория, разнообразный завтрак, широкий пляж, несколько бассейнов, анимация. Отдельно хочу ответить высокий сервис: нас заселили на два часа раньше тк номер был готов, дали номер с видом на море и самое главное разобрались с ошибкой при бронировании (не был включен завтрак для ребёнка, хотя он бесплатный). Жалею только что не взяла HB, тк цены в ресторанах на сицилии не маленькие. Даже при том что мы с дочкой едим мало, меньше 40 евро за один ужин не выходило."

"A fantastic hotel! 1. Excellent location: Famous attractions like the Quadrilateral Square (crossroads), the Pretoria Fountain, and the Admiral's Abbey are right outside the door. The theater, palace, and cathedral are a 6-7 minute walk away. It's also situated in a bustling commercial area, making shopping and dining very convenient. 2. Excellent service: The staff are patient and welcoming, remembering every guest's needs and requests. The hotel restaurant offers a rich and delicious selection, and you can even make your own cannoli for breakfast! 3. Exquisite décor: Full of European luxury, the separate lobby is elegant and classic, and a tea break area is provided. Multiple elevators are available for easy access, and there is a wheelchair accessible. The rooms are fully equipped, and there's a private balcony for relaxation. Cons: The air conditioning is a bit noisy (but can be turned off), and there are staircases connecting different floors within the building. Overall: Highly recommended! There's no better choice."

"Sono tornato all’Hotel Malavoglia per un “last minute” con la mia famiglia mercoledì 30 agosto 2023. Ci è stata assegnata una quadrupla ampia , luminosa e confortevole. Materassi di adeguato spessore e capaci di offrire una più che buona qualità del sonno. Biancheria pulita, climatizzazione ed insonorizzazione di ottimo livello. Il bagno dotato di ampia finestra (e non del solito impiantino di aerazione), box doccia super spazioso, vasca da bagno e due lavabi, tutto di ultima generazione. Presente un buon kit per l’igiene personale. La piscina, decisamente bella, è un altro punto forte della struttura. Molto comodi e di qualità “premium” i lettini a bordo piscina, idem i maxi ombrelloni. Presente un bel bar a bordo piscina, che ci ha servito un’ottimo Spritz con salatini. Al costo di 10 euro al giorno è inoltre disponibile un comodo servizio di parcheggio coperto nei sotterranei, con accesso diretto dai locali dell’hotel 👍. Prima colazione molto varia ed abbondante, con presenza di dolce, salato e frutta. Ho particolarmente apprezzato le torte e i biscotti, un po’ meno croissant, donuts e altri prodotti da forno. Mi è piaciuta pure l’anguria, non altrettanto il melone bianco. Sul salato non mi esprimo, non avendo assaggiato nulla. Riguardo al cappuccino, è possibile scegliere tra la macchinetta self service ed il bar attiguo alla sala colazione, con il personale che effettua servizio al tavolo. Consiglio quest’ultima soluzione, anche perché non vi è alcun sovrapprezzo..In un’occasione abbiamo pranzato a bordo piscina con quattro portate di pesce. Prezzo medio intorno ai 15 euro a portata e purtroppo, per quanto speso, risultato non adeguato alle aspettative 😕. Procedendo ad un rapido conteggio, posso dire che in questo periodo, all’Hotel Malavoglia di Acitrezza, la tariffa per persona al giorno, prima colazione e tasse incluse, si aggira intorno ai 50 euro a persona, cui va aggiunta la tassa di soggiorno. Quest’ultima incide per 2 euro a persona al giorno, bimbi piccoli ovviamente esclusi. Giudizio finale: sicuramente tariffe non popolari, ma tutto sommato siamo stati bene e quindi ne è valsa la pena😄👍!!"

"A beautiful hotel with a private gate offering direct access to the Valley of the Temples, and tickets are available for purchase directly at the hotel. We were assigned a room with a view of the Temple of Concordia, which offered a stunning and unforgettable panoramic view. The interior space was comfortable and clean. Bottled drinking water was provided free of charge and replenished nightly, showing great attention to detail. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, good food, and excellent live music. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted great. However, it's important to note that getting to and from the city center is inconvenient. There are no shops nearby and no direct public transportation. After getting off the bus, some sections of the road lack sidewalks. Non-drivers are advised to take a taxi; negotiating the fare beforehand is recommended as it can be a quicker and safer option."

"We were there two months ago and now we returned with our daughter especially for the wellness center, the only difference and that compared to before it was unlimited now is 70 minutes and we have to do everything quickly. Clean but small rooms and the third bed was a bed chair, excellent breakfast with wonderful view, recommended."
