I had a concert at Kyocera Dome, but my night bus was canceled due to snow, so I quickly booked this hotel. It was a direct route on Midosuji Street. From the outside, it looked like a forest! There was a huge tree at the front desk! There were several check-in machines, so I didn't have to queue and could check in right away. It asked for a photo of my driver's license (why?). This might be difficult for foreigners. To get to the room, you first take the elevator at the front desk, get off on the second floor. Once you're in the hallway, there's another elevator that takes you to the guest rooms. The unique exterior, interesting check-in process, and the fun journey to the room really excited me! The room uses a password key for entry. When I checked in, a receipt-like paper came out with the password on it. It's not an auto-lock, so make sure to press the lock button before you go out. Overall, the room lighting is dim. The full-length mirror is also tucked between two walls, so you can't really see yourself. It's hard to do makeup. The bathroom is small, but if you're used to traveling, I think it's acceptable. I had a very comfortable stay. The TV settings were difficult, and I couldn't watch terrestrial digital broadcasting, but I could watch YouTube.

This hotel is conveniently located near both Honmachi and Shinsaibashi. The front desk and breakfast area are both on the 18th floor, and they offer complimentary hot water, coffee, and ice. The room was larger than previous ones I've stayed in, as they've removed the bathtub to make way for a separate shower and toilet room. While there's no vanity mirror, there is a full-length mirror. I was even able to fit my 26-inch suitcase in the room, haha. Breakfast is a set menu, with two options to choose from. The food was good, but I imagine it might get repetitive if you're staying for a while. Overall, it's a good place.

Excellent location, very close to Jusan (Juso) subway station, making it easy to get to Umeda. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, so it's not noisy at night. There are also many restaurants nearby. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Osaka.

This is a chain hotel right by Osaka's Kitahama Station, so it's super convenient for getting around. You can get to Osaka International Airport with just one subway transfer to the Nankai Electric Railway. We stayed for three nights and used the subway for all our sightseeing around Osaka, which was really easy.
We originally booked a standard twin room, but when we got there, we realized there was absolutely no space for luggage. With the help of Ctrip's customer service, we were upgraded to a superior twin room that had enough space for our bags. We really appreciate Ctrip's excellent service!

We spontaneously decided to visit Osaka with my parents, and this hotel, booked at the last minute, had a decent price. It's conveniently located near a subway station and within walking distance of Shinsaibashi, a bustling area of Osaka. The hotel staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and tidy. The size wasn't small either; it didn't feel cramped with three of us staying there. For breakfast, I recommend going early as there's a queue if you go later. The variety was rich, and everything tasted good. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Convenient walking distance to and from the Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station serving the Chuo Line [C] and Sakaisuji Line [K], makes for an easy thoroughfare to all parts of the city, Umeda, and Universal Studios, too. Great amenities are its upper floor Onsen on the 14th floor, along with the swimming pool and gym facilities for an additional (2 700¥) per visit. Room size is fairly spacious for solo travelers, but opt for beds for two persons or couples. The hotel does not have laundry facilities though the nearest laundromat is about 6-blocks away. Very clean and open 24/24.
This hotel has a chapel inside on the second floor for those who are observant travelers (for Christian devotees). There are several other temples and shrines all within distance from the hotel itself. Accommodations are very good from a short stay to a business traveler’s perspective or personal experience within this part of Osaka’s financial districts. Very lovely places for returning visitors.

This is a classic old Japanese hotel. As soon as I entered, someone helped me with my luggage. For this price, having breakfast included is a really good deal. I used the computers in the executive lounge to print some documents for work. Although the interior design is a bit older, the TV can cast, so it was perfectly fine to stay there. The service attitude was also great; as soon as a staff member saw me holding my luggage tag, they immediately came over to assist. The staff at breakfast were very enthusiastic when I went around 7 AM. By 8:50 AM, there was already a queue, so I recommend going early. I only had time to stay one night for this business trip, but I'll definitely come back for a longer stay next time.

Everything else was great, but the soundproofing was really bad. I'm not sure if it's because we were on a lower floor – the hotel has 7 floors and we were on the 4th. Even though we requested a quiet room, and probably also needed two adjacent rooms, we still ended up with a room facing the street. It was incredibly noisy; you could hear cars and motorcycles driving by all night.
This hotel is my go-to whenever I visit Japan. It's just one stop from the airport, which is incredibly convenient. Soaking in a beautiful onsen before leaving Osaka is truly one of life's great pleasures! Plus, there's a shopping complex right next to the hotel with a Nishimatsuya (baby store) and a conveyor belt sushi restaurant.
Overall, it was great! The facilities are complete, the price is good, and the location is excellent, right next to the train station with a convenience store downstairs and directly accessible from the station exit. You can also enjoy the hot springs 24 hours a day. It's very good, though the breakfast was a bit awkward – I went at 9:28 and was told it was no longer available.

EE6734****The hotel is right by the subway, but we ended up taking a long detour following our navigation. The back entrance is really close to the park's main gate, which was super convenient and comfortable for walking back to the hotel when the park closed around 9 PM.
However, check-in at the hotel was quite slow, and they didn't provide any power adapters. Breakfast seating was limited, so we had to queue up and wait a long time to get in. Eating outside in the cold wasn't ideal, but at least we could hear the screams from the roller coasters (ಥ⌣ಥ).
There's a commercial street nearby that also sells Universal merchandise, which was great for picking up last-minute souvenirs before we left.
Overall, I'd definitely stay at this hotel again next time and have already recommended it to friends. The convenience for families with kids is the most important factor.
SSollee- Spa was good, breakfast was good.
- Location was good; we could go shopping or eating outside easily. The area across the station felt a bit unsafe, and there were some homeless people around.
- Very clean floors in the entire building since everyone had to take off shoes at the lobby.
- After check-out, the hotel allows guests to store their luggage if guests stay on the premises to enjoy the spa. However, if guests leave the hotel after checkout and then return later, the hotel does not offer luggage storage. In that case, you have to use the coin lockers in front of the hotel. It was a bit inconvenient because I had to exchange money again to use the locker. That was the only inconvenience.

Very Good
MMT LeeeThe location is excellent ,right in the heart of Shinsaibashi.
There is a FamilyMart directly across the street, which is very convenient.
The hotel is located just behind Fendi, with Lululemon right opposite.
If you go shopping and get tired, it’s very easy to return to the hotel to drop off your bags and head out again.
However, there are a few downsides.
The hotel is quite dark overall, and there is no daily cleaning service.
Towels are not replaced unless you specifically request it.
Overall, this hotel is perfect for shopping and convenience, but if you prefer brighter rooms or daily housekeeping, you may want to consider this before booking.

AAmarFromUKLocation:
Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet.
There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day)
Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage
Hotel Room:
We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes
But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything.
Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay
Hotel features:
Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views.
The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free.
The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day.
Staff:
Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful
Overview:
100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.

Amazing
Llittle crabHave had a great time on 20-21/12. The staff is very nice, willing to talk with you and with smile. Especially the girl in carpark ran to me and help my luggage when I arrived.
Nanami san is also a very nice girl!
Merry Christmas and happy new year 2026❤️
DDangdixiangdaosumetzhaoxmThis five-star hotel, with over 30 years of history, is nestled between Hankyu and Umeda. The doorman's service was excellent, truly making guests feel at home. We booked a quad room with two generously sized beds. The bathroom was quite spacious, and compared to other hotels we stayed at in Japan this trip, despite the slightly older toilet, it was still very good overall. The hotel service was great, and housekeeping was thorough. There are several restaurants to choose from within the hotel, but just across the street, along the subway line, there's a fantastic food street with many small eateries worth trying.
GGuest UserThis hotel exceeded all my expectations. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and very comfortable.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, always ready to help with a warm smile. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and truly great value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return again.
