Our family of three, along with two nannies, booked a three-bedroom apartment, and it was excellent value for money! The New Year's Eve countdown stage and fireworks were right downstairs! The only minor drawback was having just one bathroom for everyone to share, but since it was a short two-day stay and we had different schedules, it worked out fine! Check-in was very smooth, and each unit even had a dedicated customer service agent. Our agent, Yuki, was fantastic! She was very responsive and quick to reply! It was a pleasant and convenient stay! Next time we come to Johor Bahru, we're definitely booking here again! 🤙🤙🤙😀

Smell strong cigarettes smoking upon open the door. Mixed with the fragrant of the room was super overwhelming and cause nauseous. Thought could be really the smell of the fragrant they use but when i entered the toliet. Smell of ppl smoking inside before… with my 2 kids, I request for change of room which was given. But the hassle of expecting to rest when checking but then end up with need to make a trip down to reception to change room not pleasant for me.
Troublesome.. hotel all are good but RM200 to fine smokers who smoke inside the room is too small as most SG and MY can afford. Should increase the fine to $3000…. Don’t worry.. smokers are rich people since they are afford to buy cigarettes to smoke their life away..

Advantage :
+ The location is very very near to KSL.
+ There is a short cut through the hotel side to the KSL.
+ The room is well reasonable decorated.
+ New Apartment in 2025.
+ Good customer services with staff to guide you to the apartment.
+ Convenient parking.
+ Good view of the city from the 12 level.
+ Nice swimming pool.
Drawback:
- 1 key card provided for 2BR Apartment. Should provide more keys to suit the number of in-staying guest
- Very new building with some ongoing defect work and renovation work at level 2 and inside the apartment.
- Will be expecting higher price next round of stay once defect and renovation ends.
The unit at level 10 was clean. I think the House keeping Rahim did a great job. Rahim was really helpful and friendly. This is the kind of hospitality service that brings us wanna go back again.
Suggestion:
* The downside is rooms all have a little weird smell. May want to consider ioniser machines to get rid of those smell. I cannot tell what that was.
* beds were on a little hard side. Maybe can add a layer of topper to make it easier to sleep on
* Location was great but they won't let us bring trolley up to the apt makes it quite a turn off as we were not able to bring up the water 6L and a few other things we bought without the trolley.
* Swimming pool has a lot of small pebbles inside, i think it needs some clean up. My son hurt his feet in the regular pool.

Our family's main focus was to shop at the malls. Maybe the weather was so hot, but the walk from CIQ to the hotel was longer than expected together with lugging our luggage. The hotel room was clean and neat. Aircon is strong, furniture is mostly new, which is a plus. Walking to and from the hotel at night does not feel very safe when you have young kids with u.
For Muslim families, it’s reassuring to know that St. Giles provides bidets in the toilets. I stayed in the Urban King Room, and this is honestly a hotel I keep coming back to—I’ve stayed here three times now. Whenever I’m in JB, especially with babies, this is my go-to hotel because it’s extremely convenient and the facilities are excellent. The modern design is another big plus.
For breakfast, I’d strongly recommend going early at 7am. The place fills up very quickly, and by 8am there’s already a queue forming. That said, the staff at Causeway Café are very efficient at managing the crowd kudos to them.
We also tried the dinner buffet at Causeway Café, and at RM118, it definitely did not disappoint. I’m not sure when in-room dining was introduced, but we ordered the Hokkien mee and nasi goreng, and both were really good. We hope they continue with this in room dining!!
I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Woke up to a beautiful city view 🌆 and ended the day with live music, football on the big screen, and chill night vibes 🎶⚽
Honestly love how this hotel gives both relaxing views and lively evenings.
Good stay, good vibes, and definitely a night to remember 💙

Service and breakfast is consistently good. The amenities in the hotel are the same as per usual. However, the shops around have mostly closed down. The Starbucks & massage parlour as well as the eatery just below are all gone. Most of the staff have changed. Quite a bit of new people.
Third floor had a puddle of water that was not noticeable as it was raining heavily & kinda dark, my son ended up slipping and falling. Just grateful that nothing serious happened other than a light injury. Called the front desk immediately upon reaching the room. But after some time , there seemed to be a new puddle at the same area. No sign was put up for wet floor.
The location is a bit far from the border crossing, but there's a bridge directly connected, so you can just follow the signs. We stayed in R&F Phase 2. Phase 1's plaza area is more lively, while Phase 2 mainly offers basic residential facilities like a swimming pool, playground, billiards room, yoga studio, and gym. The room balcony offers an open sea view. Since it was a holiday evening, we saw fireworks displays all around from a distance, which was quite beautiful. Overall, it's quite convenient. For dining and shopping, it's best to go to Phase 1, which is about an 8-minute walk. For transportation, it's also best to go to Phase 1 to catch a ride; there's a free shuttle bus to the border crossing that seems to run hourly. The customer service was excellent; the Malaysian lady spoke fluent Chinese and even walked us all the way to our room door after noticing we had seniors and children with us. Check-out was also very convenient. It was a great stay, and if we come to visit again, we'd definitely consider staying here.

GGuest UserWe had a very memorable stay at the Double Tree over the past few days. Everything was smooth and the hotel lobby was grander than we had expected. It is also very nicely in theme for Christmas.
I must commend staffs from the Makan Kitchen for being so generous and friendly. Special mention goes to chef Zul and also especially Ain. Her warmth and thoughtfulness really made our evening memorable and pleasant.
From the dining hall too was the manager Fizah. She had gone out of her way to entertain us and made sure we were well taken care of. Wonderful team. Thank you.

TteeheeheeIt's about a 20-30min car ride away from checkpoint. When I stepped into the place to check-in at night, it looked really big and grand.
Very peaceful location with nothing much around - good to chill and relax. Feels like the equivalent of sentosa cove area in SG.
Room is big and generally well maintained. There's a few ants in the kitchenette so that part needs improvement. Bed is super comfy.
Bfast buffet included. There's a variety of food but tastewise it's decent, some hit and misses.
Gym is well-equipped, pool is partially sheltered and clean - so rain or shine it's all good.
Our package comes with one time free lounge usage from 10am to 5pm but there was nothing much. I will not pay extra for it. There was no one manning the place. The small lounge area comes with coffee machine, a few snacks that went stale, and bottled fruit juice that tasted very artificial.
Apart from above, all staffs we encountered were great and polite. Overall, great place to stay in, value-for-money.

GGuest UserThe Hotel Ramada is an excellent choice, particularly for visitors focused on Legoland, due to its prime location and notably spacious, comfortable rooms. However, prospective guests should be aware that the main area for improvement is the breakfast service, as the options provided are quite limited in variety and selection.
NNHTDSgoeswhereWe had a total of 9 pax (4 adults, 5kids) and we took the 4 bedroom apartment. 4 rooms, 3 bathrooms. We got the one on 45th floor. If ur afraid of heights like i am, the room we got is facing the causeway. So it wasnt that bad. The apartment is clean and feels very homey. The only downside as usual is the internet connection bcos its very near sg so ur internet will be back and forth with sg connection. TV has youtube and netflix. But no local channels. Below has mamak shop, minimart and laundry. We had a wonderful stay the kids didnt want to go home.
LLee Eng HuaThe front desk staff are friendly and helpful for the check in. Breakfast is fantastically great with wide varieties and taste awesome. Pool is quite standard in terms of design. Location is great in that it’s near to the fruit farm and firefly attractions. There are varieties of shops and cafes just outside the hotel. A small mall and supermarket is just next door and stalls with lots of durians nearby.
AAnonymous UserThe place was nice. Suitable for family with kids. Location wise is very near to Singapore.
After long hours on the bridge to cross back to Malaysia, it’s good that the apartment was near so that we can reach home early and rest early.
The check in and out was smooth. But the quest to finding the parking lot was quite adventurous 😅
RRenny RahmanWe travelled as a family and required connecting rooms. The front desk staff, Kestari, and manager, Lawrence, tried their best to put all 3 rooms we booked on the same floor as well as 2 out of 3 as connecting rooms. We are so thankful that they managed to get all of us on the same floor by upgrading our rooms, got us connecting rooms and even gave us complementary breakfast for all! What a wonderful and sweet thought as we checked in for my son's 4th birthday! Their breakfast spread is so, so good! Must get breakfast as part of your stay. The swimming pool is the highlight of our trip. All our kids aged 10 to 2 years old, enjoyed themselves! The gym and sauna look good! Thank you to the team especially the two who helped us.
