A beautiful resort by the beach… best place to catch the sunrise (that’s main intent of trip there). If you want to just sit down and soak in the sun and sea… this is the place.. You can find local food and snacks next door at Teluk Cempedak if you want to eat local priced food (but still not as cheap as at other places).

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days, from 18 June to 21 June 2026. The hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient with easy access to many nearby attractions, restaurants and amenities. One area for improvement is the parking facilities. The parking instructions could be made clearer as some guests may accidentally park in the residents’ designated parking area. Additional signage or clearer guidance during check-in would be helpful. The breakfast offers a good variety of choices, and the food tastes good. I would recommend including and promoting more local food selections to enhance the dining experience for guests. During peak breakfast hours, there seemed to be a shortage of staff to clear used plates and tables. On a few occasions, my family had to help move the plates ourselves. Increasing manpower during busy periods would improve the overall dining experience. Overall, the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and contributed positively to our experience. Despite the minor areas for improvement, we had a pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future.

This is our first time staying at this hotel and dare I say, it was one of the best 5-star hotels I’ve been in. Will definitely, definitely come again. Everything and everyone were wonderful. The room was so squeaky clean and no speck of dusts anywhere. The bathroom’s design was top notch I love every inch of it. And the room had carpet-floor which made it easier and less painful for my baby to crawl around. The view was to die for. Very secluded and private and calm. Okay now the breakfast, heads off to the chef, the foods were amazing. I think this hotel has been here for quite a while now but they had managed to maintain and made it look like brand new. Two things I wanna suggest a bit, maybe can provide a prayer mat for the muslims or the front desk maybe should ask first whether we need any prayer mats, that would’ve been nice. One other thing, during breakfast, maybe can make sure the utensils are more accessible rather than upon request cause each table was provided with limited number of spoons and forks. But yeah other than that, everything was perfect from the beginning till the end. Huge thanks to Mark as well cause he did a wonderful job assisting us to our room and everything. Kudos to every staffs here, they were so nice and helpful. Oh yeah almost forgot about the welcome drinks, they were absolute perfect thank you so much. Will come again and again. Best hotel here.

TFantastic Family Escape – Kids Loved the Pool & Beach! Rating: 4.5/5 We had an absolute blast at Swiss-Garden Kuantan! If you’re looking for a family getaway that keeps the kids entertained, this is the spot. The Highlights: Kid-Approved: The pool area with the slide was a massive hit—my kids (3, 9, & 11) couldn't get enough of it. Beachside Bliss: The location is perfect, with easy access to a beautiful, clean beach that we really enjoyed. Nightly Entertainment: The fire show for hotel guests was a fantastic surprise and a great way to end the day. Top-Tier Service: A huge shoutout to the staff—they were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. Breakfast Win: The breakfast spread was seriously good! Pro-Tip for Guests: The breakfast buffet gets very busy during peak hours, and you might have to wait for a table. My advice: plan your timing to head down a bit earlier to beat the rush and secure your spot comfortably.

Best impromptu booking ever! I booked the room the second I spotted the jacuzzi on the balcony with a mountain view and that was honestly just the beginning. I had no idea there’d be so many amenities, both for the family and separately for me, my daughter, and my husband. My only regret is only booking for one night. Antara has so much to offer, and it’s just a few minutes from the more commercialized resort and theme park area, close enough to everything but without the crowds. The condo unit was huge and spotless for just the three of us. The carpets and curtains alone give off serious luxury vibes. No breakfast included, but there’s a lovely brunch spot called The Lemon Tree right downstairs. We also caught an early dinner at Tono Izakaya, a Japanese restaurant nearby — highly recommend. We didn’t really need to head out to Skyworld Avenue, but my daughter had her heart set on the theme park, so we squeezed that in before check-in. The staff are super friendly and easy to reach via WhatsApp.  Would 100% book again, and definitely for more than one night next time!

Why is it necessary to hold the deposit payment for nearly two weeks? The apartment is quite nice and the cleanliness is very satisfactory. However, the issue is that the refund for the deposit takes almost two weeks, which should not happen.

The drop off and pick up place was at the side door instead of main lobby which made the GRAB pick up confusing. Room is spacious and relatively clean. But, toilet can be cleaned more thoroughly as there seem to be a faint smell coming from it. And no hooks in the toilet to hang ur clothes. Water from the shower also seeped into the room. Location is quiet, away from the main Genting area. Can either - walk up the link way (about 20 min), - walk down to the chin swee temple cable car stop and take a cable car up (RM10 per pax) or - call a GRAB for RM30. Good thing is that there are a couple of eateries and mini marts.

Antara Hotel is relatively new, and we were genuinely impressed with our stay. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. As both my husband and I are light sleepers, we always hope for a quiet environment when traveling, and the room we booked exceeded our expectations in that regard. One of our favorite features was the balcony with a lovely view. We spent the evening enjoying some beer and snacks while taking in the cool breeze, which was a wonderful way to unwind. The bed was comfortable, and I especially liked the bedroom layout. Having a separate bedroom with a door helped reduce noise and made the stay even more restful. The bathroom was another highlight. It was spacious, clean, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. At a room rate of around RM400+ per night, it would be nice if hand towels or face towels were provided in addition to bath towels. Also, bottled drinking water is not provided. Instead, the hotel uses a water filtration machine that dispenses purified water directly from the tap. The location is connected to Genting via a link bridge, but be prepared for about a 15-minute walk. Younger guests will likely find it manageable, but I would not recommend the walk for elderly visitors. Fortunately, the hotel provides buggy rides to the escalator area, which helps save energy and is probably one of the most convenient services offered. Overall, the rooms are cozy, comfortable, and offer good value for the price. If you prefer being just a few minutes away from your room while exploring Genting, you may want to stay at Genting Grand or First World Hotel instead. However, if you don’t mind a short stroll and prefer a quieter, more relaxing environment, Antara Hotel is definitely a good choice.

I had a very comfortable stay at this incredibly clean hotel. The bathtub was just the right size and really helped me relax after a long day of travel. The shower pressure was also excellent. I appreciated the separation between the toilet and shower. The morning buffet was beautifully presented, and every dish was delicious. All the staff members were very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated.

GGuest UserComing for birthday celebrations and special remarks any special arrangements can be prepare prior arriving however no respond from hotel at all. Staff here are not attentive enough and not quite hospitality orientated. On the day we checking in, lift is under repair and we are with our luggage and our floor is 3rd floor, none of the staff offering help at all. And dint give any alternative just ask us to wait till lift is resume. So giving a very bad impression at the first sign. Not sure how they claim the best service hotel. Location are right the middle of town si this is the plus points. Food wise do not expect much as the breakfast option are kinda limited and chicken also bit overcooked bit hard to chew.

GGuest UserOverall Review: Great Views, But a Noticeable Gap Between Experience and Expectations Overall, this stay had clear pros and cons. The hotel’s location and scenery are undeniably excellent, but there is still considerable room for improvement in areas such as traffic flow planning, facility details, service experience, and privacy management. Given the Ascott brand management and a room rate of RM1,100+ per night, we had expected a more premium accommodation experience. Unfortunately, the actual stay fell short of expectations and did not fully reflect the price point. Pros 1. Excellent Location and Scenic View The hotel is strategically located along a main road and directly opposite a golf course, offering an unobstructed view. Waking up to lush green lawns, blue skies, and white clouds created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. 2. Room Layout Suitable for Families or Groups We stayed in a Premium Two-Bedroom Unit, which was nicely designed with a practical layout. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. Although the bathrooms were relatively small, having two bedrooms and two bathrooms made it convenient and comfortable for a group of four. 3. Thoughtful Amenities The hot and cold water dispenser located at the lift lobby was a thoughtful touch. The room also came with a kettle, which was especially convenient for families and guests who prefer hot drinks. Cons 1. Bed Comfort Could Be Improved The bed was Queen-sized, but the mattress felt rather firm, while the pillows were overly large and thick, making the sleeping experience less comfortable. 2. Lift Access System Was Not Sensitive Enough The lift card scanning sensor was not very responsive. When staying on a lower floor, there were occasions where the access card had not yet been detected before the lift had already passed the intended floor, which affected convenience and user experience. 3. Poor Drop-Off and Parking Layout The luggage unloading area was located at the entrance of the parking area, where the road was narrow and often obstructed traffic flow. In addition, after rainfall, the parking area had significant puddles, making it inconvenient to walk, especially when carrying luggage. 4. Limited Check-In Space The check-in reception area was relatively small and struggled to handle the holiday crowd. During peak periods, the space became congested and chaotic. 5. Narrow Public Areas and Restaurant Queue Management The hotel hallways were generally narrow. While it is understandable that queues are unavoidable during peak travel seasons, the restaurant waiting area was clearly unable to accommodate the volume of guests, resulting in congestion. 6. Inefficient Dining Area Layout The food serving area could be better organized, especially around the coffee machine section. Despite having multiple machines, they were still insufficient to handle the high guest volume, leading to long queues. 7. Privacy Concerns The hotel should consider implementing stricter drone control policies within the property. While staying on the 4th floor, we woke up to find a drone flying past our open balcony/door area, which felt intrusive and raised privacy concerns. 8. Mismatch Between Price and Experience We chose this property largely because of the Ascott brand reputation and the RM1,100+ nightly rate, expecting a more premium level of accommodation and service. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations. From operational details to service quality, the hotel did not reflect the level typically associated with its pricing and branding.

GGuest UserStaff are extremely friendly, the place was a really relaxing and beautiful getaway. Although the beach was not sandy as it was filled with dead corals, snorkeling around the area was quite beautiful. The transport to the resort is also very convenient as they provide rides from the main village.

VVasanth Vignesh M RHad a wonderful stay at Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences, Genting Highlands. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. One of the highlights of my stay was the foot massage at the hotel, which was very relaxing after a long day. The food was also good, with a nice variety of options and great taste. The breakfast area was quite crowded in the morning, but I visited during a long weekend, so that was understandable. Despite the crowd, the staff managed the situation well. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Great service, comfortable facilities, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Genting Highlands and would happily stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

AAnonymous User* Spacious room. * Free and easy parking. * Very close to attractions around Kea Farm such as the sheep sanctuary and Kea Farm market. * I like that you can go straight to your room from the parking area without having to pass through the lobby every time (great for introverts 😆). * My room on Level 12 was very cool and comfortable. No air-conditioning, but I didn’t even need to switch on the fan. Customer Service * Customer service was average and could be improved. * In my experience, most of my requests were not fulfilled (e.g. extra pillows). * However, late check-out until 1pm was approved. * Drinking water was not replenished, but got coway which i love * They do provide a WhatsApp contact, which makes them easy to reach without having to call. Facilities * WiFi was good. * Didn’t get a chance to use the gym or playground. * The pool is small and very basic. The water wasn’t cold, so it’s nice for a swim. Bathroom * Water pressure was excellent. * Unfortunately, my bathroom had a urine smell. * Housekeeping came three times after I reported it, but the smell was still there during my stay. * To be fair, the hotel was very receptive to my complaint. Whether it has been fixed since then, I’m not sure. Other Notes * My requests and emails were generally not entertained. * Despite what people say on *******, I did not experience anything **********. ( hotel, not an apartment ) * The hotel was quite busy with guests, so it never felt empty or creepy.

FFarahbaini MohamadGreat beachfront and pool—my kids absolutely loved it! We’ll definitely be coming back again soon. The only downside was the buffet breakfast, which felt quite basic and not very tasty. Other than that, everything else was excellent. I’d suggest grab-ing food from outside instead, as there are plenty of eateries nearby.

GGuest UserThis is our first stay in ion delemen for 4D3N. The unit is very spacious and clean however we faced some difficulties as below. 1. Broken bedframe: One of the room bed is broken and we have reported to the reception immediately however no action was taken nor any updates was received. There are difficulties every time when we sleep on it as it is unstable. 2. Wifi connection: Throughout our stay, we unable to connect to hotel WiFi and no action was taken to rectify it. 3. Noisy door: There's a very annoying sound every time when we open or close the room door.

GGuest UserThis was our 1st stay in the resort and it turned out to an interesting & awesome experience! We checked-in on 11th of March & checked-out on 13th of March. I booked a 2-single bed room but the hotel given us a king bed room at the upper floor. After talking to the front desk. I was told only king bed room was available. However, my wife didn't have a good night sleep as she was having light sleep, so easily waken-up due to noise & movement. The upper floor somehow was noisy due to the traffic outside the hotel. We have no choice but to feedback to the hotel manager on the 2nd day. The manager Ms Su was kind enough and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor, with 2 single beds & a king bed. That made our 2nd night slept peacefully. Thanks Ms Su of her attentiveness. The morning breakfast was a ala carte menu of Malaysian & western cuisine. Not a fantastic food but the service given by the professional F&B staffs made the experience so pleasant! Sincere thanks to F&B supervisor Santhosh & staff Myint of their attentive service.

AAnonymous UserIt was a pleasant stay for us as the room is clean and spacious too. Really great deal for the price paid. The hotel even extend my check out time to 12noon as well I check in late the day before. One thing I’d comment is the parking lot - they seems to have a centralised carpark & it is quite far from where we stayed.
