My daughter, son, and I stayed in the family room. We were very satisfied; both the exterior and interior were very unique, and the room was spotlessly clean. It had a wonderful charm. There was also a large bathtub, equipped with a bath liner, which was very hygienic. The only drawback was that the shower area wasn't private enough, which is something that could be improved for guests' privacy, even among family. Also, when checking in, it would be helpful to remind guests if they haven't purchased breakfast and ask if they'd like to, just to refine the service a bit more. However, overall, we were very satisfied. They proactively asked if I had a car and if I needed a parking voucher, and they reimbursed my parking fee. Very good indeed, and the tall lady working there had excellent service attitude.

This is the first hotel I've actively reviewed after getting home, because the experience was just fantastic. I stumbled upon this hotel two years ago and finally made it here. It was super clean, and they thoughtfully provided snacks. My child loved sleeping in their little round bed. The bathroom and toilet were separate, which was great. The location is right in the heart of the pedestrian zone. I booked a bit late, so we only got one ground-floor room for May 4th. We specifically chose the Dreamland Treehouse, drawn by the red pandas. The animals in this accommodation area include red pandas, ring-tailed lemurs, capybaras, and one shy animal that hides from the light, which I didn't get to see. You can pet and feed them all freely – the experience was super cool! The complimentary tickets offered unlimited park entry. We went out for dinner and didn't get back until after 11 PM, but the hotel staff were available 24/7 to escort us right to our door. The night view of the park was also beautiful! We spent two days at the zoo. Definitely rent a car first to feed the animals in the vehicle zone. If it's a holiday, make sure to be in the first group to enter, otherwise, the animals at the front will already be full. Luckily, there are large animals like yaks and camels that eat continuously further in. For the Ice and Snow Park, if you plan on using the big slides in the ice zone, it's best to bring snow pants. We were well-prepared and didn't get cold; other areas of the Ice and Snow Park don't require them. Time was a bit tight, and there were a few regrets – we lost an umbrella in the park, my child's hat went missing, we forgot to take the large tote bag provided by the hotel, and we didn't finish the hairpin-for-canvas-bag activity! But our mood was still wonderful! Absolutely loved the photos taken by Badi Travel Photography!

The room is located within the scenic area, right by the river. The owner was super nice, picked us up at the entrance of the scenic area, and even helped with our luggage. The proprietress recommended a great restaurant and a fantastic sightseeing route. We'll definitely stay here again next time. When we left, the proprietress even gave our child some snacks!

This is a great Republic of China-era hotel, tucked away in a quiet spot yet still central. The courtyard is very unique, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's about 800 meters from popular attractions like Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, Dongguan Ancient Ferry, and Xing Street – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of dining options; the famous Erchun Fried Rice is right next door, and old brands like Fuchun Teahouse, Maopailou, and Gonghechun are all nearby. It's incredibly convenient for an after-dinner stroll. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Located at the entrance of a small alley, it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful. If time permits, brewing a pot of tea and sitting in the courtyard to soak in the 'slow Yangzhou' vibe would be truly delightful!

This is my second stay here, and it's absolutely fantastic! The room facilities are excellent, and the bathroom is great with 24-hour hot water. The TV has a streaming service with membership, so you can watch any movie or show you like, and screen mirroring from your phone is super convenient. There's also a mini-fridge in the room, which is a lifesaver for anyone who loves cold drinks or has a small appetite – you can store leftovers! Plus, the front desk has a microwave available, which is a huge bonus. The location is amazing with tons of great food nearby. You have to try Shenyang Chicken Rack (ask for the vinegar-splashed version!) and Tai Ben Niu (literally a few steps away). There's also Cha Yan Yue Se and Yogourt Family (you can order delivery or walk there, it's not far). It's very close to the subway station, making it easy to get anywhere, and taxis are cheap too. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed in during my recent travels. It truly enhanced my Yangzhou trip. The hotel's common areas are very distinctive, and our room had a small courtyard outside. It was incredibly comfortable to sit there, soak up the sun, chat, and have a drink. The service was also excellent. They upgraded our room and even gave us local yogurt from Yangzhou University upon arrival. When we checked out, they gave us an aromatherapy sachet as a souvenir. Special thanks to the front desk lady who helped me bring my takeout to the room late at night. She was so sweet and very nice. The breakfast was delicious too, with a wide variety of options. It was a great way to experience Yangzhou's morning tea culture. I was initially worried about soundproofing, but it turned out to be fine. My husband and I both slept very well. The only regret is that we didn't have time to enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Yangzhou!

Solo traveler's dream! This room is so spacious, you could run laps in it. As a solo guest, I felt incredibly safe and secure. The subway station is so close you can hear the announcements, and downstairs there are so many food stalls it's hard to choose! Plus, the 24-hour convenience store is a lifesaver. Best of all, it's super close to the Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, so getting to appointments is a breeze. The location is absolutely unbeatable!

This homestay left a deep impression on me. The environment is clean and tidy, the room is spotless, and the stay is very safe. There is an elegant teahouse in the public area, and there is a small tea in the afternoon, which has a special flavor. The boss is particularly enthusiastic, not only taking the initiative to help parking, but also enthusiastically introducing the surrounding attractions, so that the journey feels warm. The overall experience far exceeds expectations and is a recommended choice for staying.

Cleaning service should be improved. When you arrive in the room it is clear that they do not deep clean between one client and the other, cause the floors are not clean, there is dust, spider webs and there is heavy dirt in the corners of the room and behind the bathroom. Prp: the bed of the room I got was very comfy and soft. The room had a closet to store my clothes, and a big desk that was very convenient for me. The area around the building is very lively with a lot of restaurants and it's quite near the subway and train station (walking distance around 10-15 min). Cons:They should decide if they want you to provide an apartment or hotel service, they are not very clear what their aim is since they don't provide hotel service for short stays (like daily cleaning, they only take the rubbish but don't cleam bathroom and floors) but not even apartment service for longer stays (such as dish soap or a pot to cook, or things to clean the apartment on your own). They provide kitchen and washing machine with no cleaning products or kitchen appliances, not even soap to wash the mugs they provide (that were dirty). The people who work at the reception are friendly but completely disorganised. The first day I was locked out three times from my room cause they could not provide me with a proper keycode and finally gave me a key which I had to sit on the floor to open each time cause it was the emergency key of the electronic dial thing that there is on the door. One day I came back and the cleaning lady took out my electricity card even if I had food in the fridge that could have gone bad. They said that I should not use electricity and the A/C too much otherwise I should have paid more. They never stated this nor on the website or in person. After not providing me with good service, theh repeatedly asked me to give them good reviews and send them a screenshot of a 5 stars review, instead of asking me how to improve their service. Overall, when I booked the price was worth it but I would not book it again now that the price is more expensive.

I was very satisfied! I traveled to Tongli by myself, and the owner sent a very detailed guide. There was even a video demonstrating how to use the water heater in the room. They also recommended many great places to eat nearby and provided a map of Tongli Ancient Town. The service was incredibly thoughtful. The guesthouse is also located in the heart of Tongli Ancient Town, very close to the Three Bridges scenic area and many restaurants. Since the stone paths inside can be difficult to walk on, the owner even drove to pick me up at the entrance of the ancient town, which was fantastic and very considerate! 👍 Overall, I highly recommend it. Here's a money-saving tip: if you're staying for two days, you can enter the ancient town after 5 PM to get in for free, then explore the scenic area the next day. 🤫

SStanley The Travel ManI arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner.   I didn’t and still don’t  have an eSIM that can make local  call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free.  I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands.  I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.  I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their  blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop  to Suzhou which was my next destination.  This  operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a  lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.  After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge .  If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass.  Do check with the owner for up to date information.  The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.  Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. .  There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from  the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy.  It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances. The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.  This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.  I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in  Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I  couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket.

GGuest UserThe room was very comfortable, and the location is excellent. It's just across the street from the Laomendong scenic area. What's great is that while Laomendong is bustling with people, the inn itself is quiet. You can easily pop back to rest whenever you get tired from walking. The owner is incredibly enthusiastic and gave us great recommendations for Nanjing's food, attractions, and itineraries.

LlschungDuring our recent stay at this wonderful hotel, we were exceptionally satisfied with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff who came out to meet us at the scenic area entrance and assisted with our luggage. This level of service set the tone for our entire visit. The hotel's décor is stunning, creating a serene and visually pleasing environment. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a restful haven where we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. It truly is a fantastic place to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful afternoon tea, particularly the grain snacks which were so delicious that we requested the hotel staff to help purchase and courier some to Shanghai for us to bring home. Their willingness to accommodate our request added a special touch to our experience. Breakfast at the hotel was another standout. The porridge, in particular, was so delectable that the hotel kindly gave us a pack of the rice used to prepare it. This gesture was much appreciated and spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant retreat. If we return to this area, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here again.

YYaoxiaomiParking nearby is very convenient and inexpensive. The room is incredibly well-designed, and from the master bedroom balcony, you have a direct view of Nanjing South Railway Station. The small tea room is thoughtfully equipped with a complete gongfu tea set, tea leaves, and bottled Nongfu Spring water. The common area features a large calligraphy desk with brushes, ink, paper, and inkstones, perfect for scripture copying, enjoying incense, or savoring a cup of tea. You can also relax on the sofa with a book. It truly is a versatile aesthetic experience space. I found myself working at the calligraphy desk in the afternoon, basking in the sun with a cup of tea, and my productivity soared. When I felt tired, I'd just recline on the sofa, and if I was sleepy, I'd take a nap. The surroundings are incredibly quiet, which is a huge plus for a light sleeper like me. I'll definitely choose this place for my future business trips. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, including local specialties like duck blood vermicelli soup and chicken broth dumplings. Lele Street offers a wide array of bubble tea and dessert shops, as well as barbecue stalls and other snacks.
