I wanted to test the famous mud springs. This hotel reportedly has one of the best spas. Tips: - I decided to stay overnight in the hotel (2 spa entry tickets with a double room + bfast for $2800) instead of using a day ticket to the spa (400$). The village is far from the city, so staying overnight may cost slightly more than a cheap city hotel, but you're not in a rush and looking for buses etc. - Each spa ticket is basically 2x tickets (1 for the normal spa, and 1 for the naked single-sex spa), so if there are 2 of you, you could go to the naked spa one day and the main spa the next. - The spa has about 15 different hot spring pools, of different temperatures + ingredients, some clear and some ”mud”. There's also mud facials and fish-cleaning for your feet. The electric pools send electric shocks through your body too. There's a swimming pool. - They speak English (basic but enough). - You need a swimming hat and a towel. I took mine but the spa front desk also offered them to borrow. - Plan on spending 3 hours. I'm not a spa lover, but even i found myself taking long. - I went in May and the weather is not at all hot at that height. - Most ********* take their instant noodles in, so that they can eat inside and stay all day. - The hotel is quite beautiful, made from wood (on the face of it). It's got lovely seating areas and they put nice fairy lights everywhere at night. - The hotel room is comparatively expensive for Taiwan at $2800 for 3* (minus the 2x spa tickets of $400 each), but the cheapest ”no window” room (it has 2 windows, but no view) is big and has 2 large concrete baths in (1 for hot mud water + 1 for cold water to dip in and out). Therefore, given that it is a beautiful location too, I do think it's very reasonable. - The breakfast is mostly chinese but there's some western bits. It's standard for 3* but the location of the eating area has beautiful views of the jungle. - It's a 15 minute nice walk to lots of restaurants and a convenience shop.

The original location was over booked so I do not know how the original location is. They walked me over to a different location on a more quiet street that was a little hard to find. There is no staff at the other location. Luggage storage is at the main location.

The hot spring bathtub is quite big and very comfortable to soak in. It happened to rain heavily when I went there. You can drink coffee on the balcony. It is a leisurely room. I will choose it again in Jiaoxi. It is a great hot spring hotel.

This is my second time staying... mainly because the company is nearby and the quality of my stay is good. The hot water is strong and the overall interior design is very warm. There is a bottle of water to pay...the pillows and quilts are comfortable. There are also delicious gourmet restaurants nearby.

Good location, near convenient store and tourist attractions. Safe place to stay. Bed has curtain

The superior double room on the 3rd floor is in the middle of the building. There are 2 TVs in total. The B&B also has a capsule coffee machine. The balcony has a beautiful view. If you want to drink coffee in the morning and take photos, go into the room and close the doors and windows tightly. There are non-toxic drugs on the mountain. Ji Da Xing Chun Xiang, you must wear slippers in the bathroom, they are slippery, and there is a warning to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush. Breakfast is a buffet, mostly Chinese style. The fried cabbage is great. Children love the spicy fried instant noodles. The American coffee is also good and not too light. It is a 6-minute drive from Cingjing Farm and a 5-minute walk from 7-11. The location is good. The only drawback is that the sound of pulling out a chair in each room can be heard clearly, but there is no sound of speech.

Love their service! Their breakfast is very special, very localised and what's more... we're allowed to refill! Their also prepared night tea. Though it's only night tea, they prepared a lot of food like soup, porridge, rice, cup noodles, cookies, beverage... The surrounding is very instagrammable too 😍

According to the address given by the B&B owner, I was really a little scared (a little hard to find). It would be better if the correct address was provided during the chat. Of course, this is just a small episode~ Got to the room, wow, it's worth it!!! Exactly the same as the picture, highly recommended~ Great location!!!

A very cute little B&B. The layout of the room is very good. Although the room is small, I feel more comfortable than staying in a big hotel. The space is very reasonable. However, when I got to the door and opened the door, I was a little embarrassed because of the uneven road and my suitcase fell to the ground. I spilled the bubble milk tea and rinsed it with the water pipe of the B&B. However, the water pipe and the faucet were not connected together, so I pressed it and it fell out again and collapsed haha. Overall, it is highly recommended.

In fact, we just want the hotel to apologize or tell us that we will strengthen the non-smoking label of the room space after we tell us, instead of the other way around, you didn't smell the smoke ⋯⋯ Is the taste of the morning a fantasy? The problem of the shower head failure also said that we can immediately reflect and will help change the room, but the bath time is already late at night, and no one will check all the equipment immediately. Do the guests have to drag their tired bodies before going to bed and change the room? Did the last tenant not clean the bathroom floor after checking out, so did not notice that the bathroom faucet was wrong? Moreover, there is only one or two toilet paper in the two rooms. Since it is packed in the noodle carton, it is found that there is no paper when using it. Although you can get a supplementary package downstairs, it shows that the little housekeeper is completely indifferent to the details. The password informed when you check in, When we went back, we could not use it due to machine and equipment problems. Although we arrived early to store our luggage, the housekeeper should inform us immediately if the equipment malfunctioned. We returned to rest at 4 pm for a while during the prescribed stay. There was no way to open the door. If it weren't for the cleaning staff still there, no one would help open the door. ⋯ The housekeeper called us after the check-in time to inform us that the password lock was changed. ⋯ Overall, this homestay is an unqualified accommodation experience. I will not consider returning to Tainan next time.

Since we were staying for two nights, they were worried that we would get tired of eating it for two days in a row. They also kindly asked if they needed to prepare other breakfasts for the next day. They also found that we had eaten less. Adjust the amounts of different side dishes and porridge, thank you very much👍🏼

I booked the small petite room with my own attached bathroom. It’s right across the elevator, which means traffic/noise. First night was quite okay. 2nd night wasn’t so great. First floor common area got a big group of gatherings. Noses flared up to 3rd floor from time to time till 10:40pm, although it was stated quiet time from 10pm. Room is very small for sure. Soundproof wasn’t great. Exhaust fans were making noises too. Location is great, close to bus stops, food, and tourist spots.

Breakfast has full vegetarian, semi-vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, which is very considerate👍 In addition to preparing 2 bottles of drinking water in the room, there are water dispensers on the first and fifth floors, which can be used to replenish drinking water after bathing👏

The location of the homestay is very close to Guohua Street. It is a quiet place in the middle of noisy. The rooms are very clean and there are smart homes. It is a great homestay.

Amenities and free instant coffee are provided, and there is a washing machine (with a free dryer) for a fee. The rooms are clean and the staff are all very considerate of the safety of women. There are also restaurants nearby, and if you like to wander around town, you can walk to Tainan's tourist attractions. It's a quiet place, and you can get a glimpse of what a Chinese house is like inside, so it's perfect for women traveling alone. It's located in an alley where taxis can't get in, and there was no address written on it, so it was difficult to find, but I asked them to write the address, so you can easily get there by using your smartphone GPS.

The hotel was beautiful, about 50 meters from the pier as you get off the boat. The hotel staff were very welcoming and spoke good English. Our room was available before our check-in time which was really handy and the room was incredibly clean and spacious. The staff do go above and beyond to ensure your stay with them meets your needs and will aid in organising transport that fits in with your itinerary. We’ve never stayed in a hotel where it felt the staff genuinely cared about our time spent in their area. After worrying over how to get from Sun Moon Lake to our next destination, the hotel staff helped plan our bus routes, arrange a taxi service and called us in the morning to ensure we were up for the very early bus we needed to catch. Ita Thao in our opinion is the best side of the lake to stay, everyone is very friendly and the street food is much better. In addition the cable car service is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which takes you to the beautiful Aboriginal Village and theme park. Boat rides, paddle boats, kayaks, bikes, electric scooters are all a stones throw from the hotel and a 15 minute cycle from Wenwu Temple. We did in-depth research into all the accommodation around the whole of Sun Moon Lake and we can say for certain, this hotel is perfect. Thank you and hope to see you again in the future.

Definitely would revisit!! The view was breathtaking, the room was nice and clean, and the staffs (owner?) are soooo kind. There were some insects at night (understandable, due to the location) but the staffs help cleaned it out right away. Breakfast was also unexpectedly good. Can’t wait to go back🩵🩵 They’ve got Thai translator as well.

Thank you to the landlord for upgrading us to a suite in the building for free. The room was moved to two floors that night, and the space felt larger, which was nice. But the room facilities are older and may be in mountainous areas, so there are small insects. But this is expected. But there is a problem. The landlord didn't tell us that he would lock the door at 10pm. We made a reservation for the stargazing group on our own, but it was canceled due to cloudy conditions and stayed at the B&B. Later, when we saw the clouds dissipating around 10 o'clock, we wanted to go out so we could take photos. However, we found that the door was locked (with a code lock)... We understand the security issues , but why not explain it when checking in? If our stargazing group had not been cancelled, then we would have been ”sleeping out”... If we had participated in the sunrise bus group, we would have been in trouble because we could not go out... If we were driving by ourselves, we would have had no job... I don’t know whether we were “lucky” (saved from sleeping rough due to the cancellation of the tour) or unlucky (failed to climb Hehuan Mountain). In this regard, it is recommended that travelers agree with the landlord on the entry and exit times/door password when checking in.

Very clean place and once has your own cabin to stay at so it's literally like your own space. I love it. Also very convenient and near to the shuttle bus stop and the walking street. Bicycle rental is more expensive than the one at shuishe pier though so if you have no bags then maybe shld buy the klook and get the bicycle there then cycle to the dorm.

Stayed for two nights. A staff were all friendly and helpful right from the moment you pull up the luggage drop off. Check in took a while but they directed each party to a different lounge section and provided drinks and snacks while they processed your arrival. Our bags were waiting for us when we got to the rooms. The room and bathrooms were clean. A bottle of their house red was provided each day along with bottles of beer, water and other snacks. A different series of toiletries were also provided each day. Dinner was included during our stay and entree choices were provided upfront. For guest staying more than a night, they provide a different menu up to 3 days. Guests can also opt for the staff to make arrangements for dinner at an outside establishment. Each course was delicious. It rained quite a bit during our stay so there were areas that were a bit musky but overall, it was a relaxing stay with good food and friendly staff.

I enjoyed my stay here but I wish the room had been a little cleaner. There were a few dead bugs on the floor. The towels they gave were one time use only. Maybe it is because of Covid in the last few years but they were not very good and not very environmental friendly. Breakfast was basic but enough for me. The views from the balcony were amazing and it was very quiet when I was there.

But the next day I got up and the amazing beauty came into sight. In the morning, insects and birds called the mountains and mists. We entered the hotel early and the owner welcomed us very warmly❤️, and we were able to play in the game room on the 8th floor. There were slides, trampolines, and a ball pool, but they were taken away for cleaning because the hotel pays attention to hygiene! I think this is good👍We stayed in a 4-person room facing the train station. Because it is directly opposite the train station, the two babies can look forward to it even when the train passes by. In the evening, it only takes 6 minutes to walk to Luodong Night Market. , bought some snacks to go with drinks, and went back to the 9th floor to sing and eat at the same time. They happened to also provide some coffee drinks in the lobby🥤It’s free for everyone! The time for singing🎤 is until 10:00pm! Searching on trip, I can find a room rate of 1,700 for two people on weekdays. There is also a super large hot spring pool with a sweet price. The housekeeper is very considerate and friendly, and there is an open space for parking next to it. The room is small but well-equipped. The hot spring house supplies are made from herbs collected from the mountains. Of course, if the bed is harder, I'm used to sleeping on a hard bed, but the bed is soft. A firm bed would be more in line with my sleeping habits. The spring pool is very big and bathing is very enjoyable. Overall, I want to find an affordable, clean and tidy bathing environment. The price is really not expensive.

There is a mechanical parking lot of 1.8 meters. For cars that exceed the height, there is also a paid flat parking lot for $200 per time (free entry and exit)! Before your trip, the boss will also carefully tell you what details you need to pay attention to when checking in! This time I stayed in a mid-floor room for 4 people, with a balcony! My fussy husband also likes it!

Close to airport bus station only 3 minutes walk. Train station around 8 minutes. Free coffee and cake serve you between 15:30 to 22:00.

Super cute B&B. This time I chose a Pokémon house that my kids are crazy about now. Next time I want to stay in a Cars-themed room. The owner of the B&B is very kind, the room is very fun, the children are very excited and happy 😁 No breakfast is provided, but they can help to order one for $70.
