The room was decent, it's a bit of a walk up to the hotel but they do provide a free shuttle bus service from the ferry terminal, though I didn't take it as I like to explore the island a bit. The hotel is relatively closer to the Mt Misen Ropeway, but sadly it was under maintenence during my stay there.
The public bath is the highlight of my stay there, it was amazing and nobody was using it in the time I was there, so I had the entire jacuzzi to myself to relax in. For the shy ones, you are able to check if the bath is occupied from the television in the room before heading there.
The staff were very kind and tried their best to communicate with me in English, and even provided recommendations for dinner around the island as I did not opt for the dinner there. A single momiji manju was waiting on the table when I entered the room with a handwritten note from the staff, which was a very nice gesture.
The place was quite clean, and the service was excellent. Laundry is super affordable at 200 yen, significantly cheaper than other hostels which typically charge 300-500 yen. They also have a dryer, so rainy days aren't an issue. The only drawback is that it's a wooden, detached house (not reinforced concrete), so the sound insulation isn't the best. Guests need to be mindful of their footsteps; walking heavily could lead to thumping noises audible downstairs, potentially causing complaints. Furthermore, showering is generally not permitted after midnight, as the sound of running water can disturb those on lower floors. Also, guests are required to make their own beds (sheets, pillowcase, duvet cover) upon arrival, and strip them off, placing them in the designated laundry basket upon check-out. If you're unwilling to do this or find making your own bed a hassle, you might want to consider booking elsewhere.
1. This time I stayed at this hotel and the experience was super positive! The room was clean, the staff was kind and courteous, the location was convenient, and I would definitely go back to the trip next time!
2. The hotel environment is very quiet, the bed is comfortable enough, the breakfast style is many and good, the price is super high, it is definitely worth recommending friends!
3. The room is large enough, the facilities are complete and clean, there is free Wi-Fi and parking space, the staff service is intimate enough, this stay is very satisfactory!
4. The location of this hotel is super convenient, just a few steps to the shopping mall and the subway station, the room is soundproofed, the room is well-equipped, and the overall experience is first-class!
5. The hotel is cleaned well, the bedding is changed every day, the staff is on call, the service efficiency is high, the price is super class, and I will definitely visit again next time!

Located on the mountainside, the view is amazing. I considered the route to the hotel based on other reviews.
We took the low-way to the summit station to catch the sunset and checked in in the evening. The building is a renovated cultural property, and has a lot of charm. The staff were kind, and we were able to relax in the attached cafe.
As it is a cultural property, there are some inconveniences, but I am personally satisfied.
Good location, near to the coin car parking because no car parking available in the hotel. This is a perfect place for family, the hotel is so comfy and wide. we enjoyed so much and for sure we will come back again.
A nice but not great Ryoukan
This was a harder resort to measure, luggage drop off was awkward and the decor is not to the cleanliness id like
That said this ryoukan is on a small island so perhaps its to standard.
What i can say is the room was large enough and the facilities included free yukata rentals, ramen at night and the Onsen view was perfect.
Location wise you are an 8 minute walk to the Torii Shrine but its a small island so wherever you book you wont be far from it.
I think with a refresh of the decor this could go from good to great
But dont expect spotless levels of clean.
I had a great stay at this hostel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was perfect It felt relaxed from the moment I arrived. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers!
Enjoy a luxurious stay in Miyajima and Hiroshima in this special private villa.
Located just a 3-minute walk from JR Miyajimaguchi Station, the gateway to the World Heritage site Itsukushima, this private house boasts an ideal location. It's also close to the ferry terminal, providing easy access to Miyajima, as well as convenient single-train connections to central Hiroshima, including the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park.
The harmonious blend of tranquil design and high-quality interiors makes it perfect for families and groups. Relax and converse in the spacious living room, enjoying a luxurious stay reminiscent of a private villa.
Enjoy a peaceful environment while maintaining excellent accessibility for sightseeing.
Experience the full charm of Miyajima and Hiroshima while enjoying a truly relaxing stay.
*Please note that this property is located on the mainland side, not on Miyajima Island.
Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful. The room felt brand new, with plenty of space and two large, incredibly comfortable beds. The kitchen facilities were excellent and the bathroom was spacious and spotless.
Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect — especially convenient for visiting the nearby museum.
We were genuinely impressed by how much value you get for the price. I can’t recommend B Hotel Neko Yard highly enough — it’s a fantastic place to stay and truly exceeded our expectations!

BblinshikiExceptional location, very close to the main station and lovely staff!
Already very clean but I also somehow was very lucky about the other people in my room - all of them were very nice, mostly solo traveling women who kept the place neat as well (e.g. there was a vacuum to clean up after blow drying your hair that everybody used).
You have to pay for a few amenities but it’s not much so I didn’t mind it. Especially since I didn’t stay for long.
Definitely would stay here again!
GGuest UserWe stayed for just one night and were extremely satisfied! It's only about a 10-minute walk from the station, and there's a supermarket nearby, so we felt safe no matter what we needed. Furthermore, the building and the room itself had a very stylish, fashionable, and reassuring design, making it very comfortable. Thank you!
The bed in the photo is a little messy because we put our luggage there. 💦🙇♀️
GGuest UserThe owner was a very friendly couple, and it was a space that made me smile naturally. The facilities were very beautiful and it was a hostel that I wanted to come again. The pork burger for breakfast was also delicious! It seems that overseas people often stay.
It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, and there is a public bath, so I think it's the best without complaint.
GGuest UserIncredible traditional Japanese house, newly renovated with everything you need for comfort. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked for us to prepare our own meals. The garden is beautiful and you can enjoy ocean view and sunrise from the house, there’s even a blooming Cherry Blossom tree in the garden. Just a tip to keep the sliding doors closed properly because mosquitoes do get in. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
Vviva2548Budget friendly hostel in a good location. It is walking distance to Hiroshima station so it's very convenient. Only one thing my dormitory just next to the kitchen and it was noisy from the kitchen... People talk so lound and my last day early morning there are hangover backpackers in the room. A bit feels unsafe so stay alert

GGuest UserThere was a delicious oden shop nearby and there was a convenience store, so it was a place where it was not inconvenient. The bed and shower were clean.
GGuest UserVery close to Hiroshima Station! You can reach it by walking, and the traffic location is very good!
Bathroom, toilet, bed and public space are clean (shampoo, shower gel and even face wash are provided) (toothbrush should be brought by yourself)
There is a refrigerator, a kettle, indoor slippers, hair dryer to use, personal bed also has a safe to put valuables.
Overall a great stay experience 🥰
Highly recommend the traveler!
