Nice.ryokan in Miyajima. The ryokan is located quite far up a hill from the station but they provide free transportation to and from the hotel.
Both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were excellent. The service was impeccable.
It is located about a five minute walk from Itsukushima shrine .
Room was good with two single beds.
Onsen has both indoor and outdoor pool.
Would highly recommend this place.

The environment is clean and tidy. The service staff are friendly and speak good English. Some rooms have direct views of the sea.
I suggest you share the room with other people, otherwise it would be painful for me to pay HKD 1,000 per night.

For several days after I made the reservation, I contacted them about anything I didn't understand while making plans, and they responded politely, which was really helpful. Although it was a short trip, it was a fun trip with a satisfying stay (^^)
I was satisfied with the transportation from the ferry terminal, the hotel, Itsukushima Shrine, and the approach to the shrine. Thank you very much (^^)
I stayed here solo and absolutely loved the experience. The location is super convenient—just a few minutes’ walk from the station, which made day trips and late arrivals stress-free. The hostel has a warm, minimalist Japanese aesthetic, and the common area is cozy and social without being noisy. Staff were friendly and spoke good English, and the check-in process was smooth. The dorm beds had privacy curtains, reading lights, and lockers—perfect for solo travelers. Everything was clean and well-kept. Highly recommend if you’re traveling alone and want both comfort and convenience.
Initially we booked the wrong night by mistake. I immediately had sent letter to the host, just 2 minutes after that mistake. And at first, host said, that they would refund without any problems, but after that he turned down our ask for refund and offered only date change, which was the problem, because the price was 2.5x more on the dates, that we needed and we would never stay at the place so expensive. In the end we had to make additional payment to stay for only one night, just to not loose the first money transfer.
And host refused to talk about why he changed his initial position and what is wrong with the refund 2 months prior to the stay. Even that we had assured him, that it was really a mistake (confused ”mar” and ”may” in the app) and sent him our plane tickets,.
He also told us, that he can't give us refund, because he prepared the room and because of the booking he couldn't rent room to another person and lost money, which I find highly unlike, since the first response from him was very quick and the wrong booking was made 2 hours before midnight, so it's very unlikely, that someone else would rent it.
Overall, I don't think that it could be considered as hospitality.
The place itself is nice, if booked for an appropriate price. Don't expect luxury, but a simple, spacious room with a balcony and a view on the road and trees.
The counter attendant is fluent in English, the room is traditional Japanese decoration, the view is very beautiful.
Although the room has a place for luggage, it is recommended to lock the luggage at the JR station and carry a backpack up the mountain considering the journey up the mountain. Disadvantages, the shared shower room has only two grids, you may need to wait in line, the quilt mattress will be slightly more dusty, the room is poorly soundproofed and other Japanese old building problems. But the CP value is very high for the scenery at this price, it is worth experiencing for one night.
As the only option on the island, although the hotel is quite historic, it offers quality services and well-maintained facilities. Both breakfast and dinner are Japanese buffets, and I think the taste is pretty good. The hotel also arranges special activities, where you can watch sea firefly at night. Although you don’t go to the beach, it is still quite special. Rabbits can be found all over the island, especially near the hotel, where you can see them even from your room.
Good place and near to the convenient stores. The place is so perfect for the family.my kids enjoyed the projector, but there is no elevator.we carried our big luggage going to second floor. No free car parking but have a nearest coin parking.check out time is so early 10am.I suggest to make it 11am because some of the guests have a kids hard to wake them up early, especially if you are a tourist.
Everyone of the employees will respond very comfortably, and in a good sense, if you don't want to interfere, watch over gently and follow with casual service. I didn't eat dinner, but the breakfast was a delicious and varied buffet. I was also happy with the service of yukata where you can choose the color pattern and the service where you can always have hot drinks.

GGuest UserThe hostel had a great location. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but you had your privacy.
Toilets and shower were very clean.
All in all a nice hostel to stay for 1 or two nights. For a longer stay I would recommend a different one because the beds weren’t that comfortable:))
GGuest UserIncredible traditional Japanese house, newly renovated with everything you need for comfort. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked for us to prepare our own meals. The garden is beautiful and you can enjoy ocean view and sunrise from the house, there’s even a blooming Cherry Blossom tree in the garden. Just a tip to keep the sliding doors closed properly because mosquitoes do get in. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
GGuest UserIt's spotlessly clean and very convenient, not far from Hiroshima Station. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The staff were incredibly thoughtful. I arrived early on a rainy day, and not only was my room already spotless, but they also kindly allowed me to check in ahead of time. Seeing I was drenched from the rain, they even offered me a towel to dry off. Their hospitality was truly heartwarming. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance to visit. Hiroshima is a wonderful place.
GGuest UserVery close to Hiroshima Station! You can reach it by walking, and the traffic location is very good!
Bathroom, toilet, bed and public space are clean (shampoo, shower gel and even face wash are provided) (toothbrush should be brought by yourself)
There is a refrigerator, a kettle, indoor slippers, hair dryer to use, personal bed also has a safe to put valuables.
Overall a great stay experience 🥰
Highly recommend the traveler!
FFaem酒店設施很新、乾淨,少部分地方在補修。接待我們的mustache 男人很沒禮貌🙃 He asked what’s the name this reservation is under. I answered by spelling my last name cuz it’s a Chinese last name so obviously I assume non-Chinese will not understand it so I spelled it. Then he replied with “Geez, please don’t spell your name.” Then, he asked me to fill out a form, with my last name on it, and he asked for my last name again, I tried to spell it again and he was annoyed and said “stop spelling your name!”. I was shocked how rude he was. Throughout the check in process, he was like interrogating me, often starting with “my question is….. what’s your answer”. He was so annoyed and rude.
However, after getting through this unpleasant check in procedure, he did help us carry our luggage to the room. What’s bothering him for real?! I don’t understand.
AAnonymous UserIt was a clean and very fashionable hostel.
Access to tourist spots in the city is also very good.
There was a public bath and a tavern within walking distance, so I used it at night.
However, there is no parking lot, so if you want to visit by car, you need to park in a nearby parking lot.
Also, since it is a hostel, there are no amenities.
In addition, please note that you cannot eat and drink in your room.
GGuest UserThe owner was a very friendly couple, and it was a space that made me smile naturally. The facilities were very beautiful and it was a hostel that I wanted to come again. The pork burger for breakfast was also delicious! It seems that overseas people often stay.
It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, and there is a public bath, so I think it's the best without complaint.
