Great staffing with great service.
Able to catch multiple free shuttles from/to Wado-Kuroya station. I just have to make a free call through the Trip.com app to contact the hotel, although the staff speaks little English, we were able to communicate using google translate, make sure to use simple language to make it easier for everyone if you are only English speaking.
Train at this station is not frequent so best to plan ahead.
Only to improve on is i wish we have bigger room for 4 people with the price we were paying. But overall it’s a nice traditional Japanese Ryokan.

The hotel is very close to the station within 3 minutes walk. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel to buy things, but the hot water in the bathroom is very long before it is hot. It is cold immediately after washing. The longest wait is 5 minutes.

This century-old hotel is just next to the river. The scenery is like a painting. It is very difficult to get there. Although the hotel is undergoing some new projects, the breakfast and dinner are good. There is also a pedestrian street selling authentic products near the hotel. There is time to buy tickets near the station, there is a special car to pick up the boat to enjoy the scenery along the river, the boat and Cheng Dawei fifteen minutes, the stop is the hotel, a good choice.

La chambre et le personnel était très agréable. On a bien pu se reposer dans notre onsen privée et le petit déjeuner japonais est très sympa (servis à partir de 8am)

When I made a reservation, it was displayed as a hot spring, but it was actually a private bathroom with a change system.
Because the number of rooms is small, there was no particular complaint such as not being able to use when I wanted to use it.

I think the hotel people and service amenities were good as they were. However, the room was not very clean. The refrigerator contained drinks from the previous person or the toilet paper was not replaced, so it was finished in one volume. It's not good because there is a change ...

When I was looking for an inn with tatami mats to stay with my 0-year-old son and three couples, I had a connection, so I stayed here this time. My son is overjoyed by the freely high and walking around the tatami mats!
The story that I wanted to rent a parking lot, check-in, change of check-out time, etc. were very smooth to do everything on the line after booking. Because it is in the sightseeing spot, it can go to the place where it wants to go immediately, and above all, the feeling of home that cannot be tasted in the ordinary hotel was the best. When staying, we recommend that you take a massage together if you have time! This was also possible to consult with the reservation on the line. If you receive treatment the next morning you stay, you can extend the check-out time, so you can spend an elegant morning! I want to take care of you again.

GGuest User4 Senior backpackers in Japan ”stumbled” onto this gem of a Japanese inn next to the Arakawa River. Less than 10 minute walk from the Kami-Nagatoro station and 10 minute walk to Nagatoro Station. We chose location due to proximity to river and start of river boat downstream river ride-sites. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown throughout our two-day stay. We were late in coming out of the mountains of Gunma prefecture (2 hour plus train ride away) and called the inn to notify and were subsequently told that this was no problem for check-in and supper. Fortunately we made up time lost and got to the inn earlier that expected and enjoyed the serene tree-lined river and men's and women's communal furo (shower/bath also in rooms) with outdoor views before dining. Then...we were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the dinner! A real treat to get a 7+ course Japanese meal featuring the specialty vegetables and protein of the region! Upon departure we chose to walk with packs back to Kami-Nagatoro Station, along the river, but the proprietor had the Inn van ready and waiting to take us to the train station. The included breakfast's were also multi-course Japanese style, with regional specialties.
Granted, the hotel is somewhat time-worn, probably seeing its zenith in the 80's and 90's but all the facilities were cleaning, usable and safe. All staff went made a great effort to ensure that we were enjoying the locale and the Inn. This location, in our opinion is much more serene and ”touristy” than the main area surrounding Nagatoro station but is only 10 minutes walking from that action. If opportunity arises, we will return. The Saitama Museum of Natural is just across the street but this large and modern facility was not open on our late arrival and on Monday. We left on Tuesday morning, but wanted to visit this place also.

I had seen the famous hot springs in Chichibu, and since I like private baths (kirikiri-furo) and ancient Japanese architecture, I chose this hotel to stay. However, I later discovered that there are indeed private baths (renti-kiri-furo) and Japanese ancient buildings, but the hot springs can only be found at Chichibu Onsen next to Seibu Chichibu Station. When I went there, many of them were closed on weekdays, and there were only 10 hotels. Sauna and hot bath, it's a pity that I didn't get to soak in the hot springs. However, the hotel service is very good. They provide maps and passports for visiting Chichibu, and also provide a very comfortable private sauna service. The bathing pottery in the room is very beautiful and interesting. The room has a building within a building, and there are many ancient wooden pieces. The small coffee table on the tatami on the first floor is very interesting. There is also free sake and beer. The service is very good. Breakfast rice balls It's also delicious
