The location is absolutely fantastic! It's a mere 5-minute walk to Central Street, and right outside, you can explore Russian-style architecture, grab a Madie'er ice cream, and even hit up the morning market – super convenient. The biggest surprise was how easy it was to catch the sunrise and sunset; just a short walk to the riverside, and you're treated to breathtaking skies, no need for a guide, it's all right there! Definitely a prime spot for views. The separate male and female sections are a huge plus, making you feel completely safe! The female floor has its own exclusive restrooms and washrooms, so no awkwardness when drying clothes!

As a solo traveller . and as a muslim . i would prefer this hostel in your check list. upon arrival the staff will come and greet you, help to pick your heavy luggage to the check in counter . and they will brief you , explain to you about the facilities provided inside the hostel. the accomodation is really comfort, the staff is friendly and helpful , there is makeover room to use, sharinh toilet and also private toilet inside the room. locker was provided for each guest to keep their belongings safe . the toilet is clean. and i had wonderful experience . i will totally repeat .

If you're planning to visit the Harbin Ice and Snow World, remember to purchase spikes at the counter (8 YUAN). It's affordable and can prevent falls and injuries. Unfortunately, I slipped on the ice and badly hurt my ankle. Luckily, there's a nearby hospital, Harbin Shengfeng Hospital, just a 10-15 minute walk away (you can use Google Maps). The doctors there are helpful, but they don't speak English, so bring your passport and use Google Translate if needed. On a brighter note, I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. They have a large mirror and a hot water station where you can prepare instant noodles. Although they don't have a kitchen, you can easily get utensils and a mug from nearby convenience stores, especially if you're planning to make coffee. One thing I found really convenient was the international charger ports provided for each bed. Before checking out, remember to strip your bed and leave a note in the lobby to indicate your presence. I left a Malaysian flag as my mark.

The location of the hotel is very good, extending in all directions. The boss is very good, hospitable, the room is spacious and warm, the facilities are complete, and the price is very high.

I slept there for a few days and it felt like home. The owner is very kind and helpful; she actively helps solve any problems you may have. She also tells you directions wherever you need to go. We got along very well over the few days, and it was a great experience. Even if I don't need a hotel next time I'm passing through, I'll still think of checking her out! Highly recommended!

I had a very satisfying stay. Even though the room was a bit small, the air conditioning was fantastic. Harbin has been sweltering hot these past few days, and it would have been unbearable without the AC. Conveniently, there's a BBQ restaurant right downstairs, which was perfect for grabbing a late-night bite if I got back late. The staff were also very accommodating; any problems were resolved quickly and efficiently. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay.

This youth hostel is just the best youth hostel I have ever been to. The people are really nice, friendly and can speak english. This is a must place in Harbin. It's a lot of fun for kids and adults to be able to be creative, cook, and play music or sing on the stage. We made a pen out of wood, and made some baozi. I recommend it for people who want to have fun and make some new friends. We have great souvenirs of this place and hope to be able to come back soon. The Springer family

It is super convenient! 2️⃣Environment: The travel atmosphere is also very strong. From downstairs, stairs, corridors, you can see graffiti drawn by travelers from all over the world, as well as messages from travelers in 2014. I heard that this youth hostel has been open for more than ten years, but it is not shabby at all. The environment is very clean. There is a lobby, a public activity area, a bed room, a single room, a double bed room, and a Northeast-style big fire bed, the kind of earthen kang that is really burned with fire. I also saw the boss burning fire for the guests that day. It was a very novel experience 3️⃣Activities: Going to Dongji Square to watch the sunrise and to Hei** Island are both far away, so you must have a car. Friends who don’t drive don’t have to worry. You can directly find Guanshu to sign up for a one-day carpooling tour. You don’t even need to make a guide. He will take you to all the attractions in Fuyuan in one stop, including Dongji sunrise, the first outpost in the East, Wusu Town, Hezhe National Village, the easternmost post office, Hei** Island, cranberry base... You can also have authentic Northeast breakfast and authentic Hezhe fish noodle soup. The price for carpooling is also very cost-effective, only 100 yuan, and it also comes with a free travel commentary. Along the way, I can listen to Uncle Guan introducing the local scenery and culture. The explanation is detailed and rich in content. It is equivalent to not only hiring a chartered driver, but also a professional tour guide. It is such a good deal! 4️⃣Service: Brother Yang at the front desk is very nice, humorous and enthusiastic. When he saw that my suitcase was very large, he took the initiative to help me carry my luggage. He was super considerate! He is gentle and doesn't talk much, but whenever there is a problem or issue, he is the first person you turn to for help. He is almost always in the store, which makes people feel at ease! ! 5️⃣The significance of staying in a youth hostel is not only that it is cheap, but more importantly, you can find people to share cars, play together, and eat together. The dishes in Northeast China are generally large in quantity, and it is difficult to order dishes when there are few people. It is also a waste if you order too much and cannot finish the food. Therefore, Guan Shu will help organize friends to share meals together, eat Northeastern dishes, eat iron pot stews, etc. There are rich dishes when there are many people, and the AA price is also very cost-effective. 6️⃣Fuyuan characteristics: fish! Here you can find three or five friends and have a fish feast together. Wow, the taste is so blissful. There are more than a dozen fish dishes on the table, in various ways, fried, pan-fried, steamed, braised, fish ball soup, sashimi. You can eat anything you can't think of, hahahaha (Friendly reminder: the dishes here are generally salty, so those who prefer light taste should remember to greet the chef in advance) 7️⃣Finally, I have to praise Uncle Guan separately. He is super considerate, warm-hearted, and considerate of everything. Travelers who come to stay in the hotel can contact him and he can arrange all your problems for you, from plane/train pick-up, to sightseeing in Fuyuan, tasting food, to all the companionship during the trip. He will make you feel particularly thoughtful and warm. He is simply our Fuyuan know-it-all! ! ! There is no one else in Fuyuan who can be as thorough as him. He is also an old child with a childlike innocence. He can chat and play with us young people. He is enthusiastic but reserved, humorous but not ostentatious. He is like the respected uncle in the family. He is calm and reliable, but not distant. People want to get close to him and he is trustworthy.

Friends who come to travel alone can come and experience it. I just arrived early, and the landlord arranged an early check-in for me, so that my tired body and mind can get a rest. If you want to travel, the landlord will also enthusiastically provide tour routes. This place is relatively close to Central Street and St. Sophia Cathedral. There is a direct bus downstairs, and it takes about ten minutes by taxi. It is recommended to form a group to go to the Ice and Snow World in winter. I came here in autumn and have no say. I will comment next time. When I am free, I will also organize a reunion or go there to exercise and relax. The network is also very fast. The landlord is a very clean person. You can also meet different friends here. Overall, it gives people a good feeling.

The location is fantastic, right outside the Central Avenue subway station (pictured in Figure 3). The staff are incredibly friendly; on Winter Solstice, they invited everyone to eat dumplings together, and you could even join in making them, which was really heartwarming. The dumplings 🥟 were delicious!
