"This hostel is the largest and best-equipped I've ever stayed in. The environment is great, and it's very clean. The common areas are quite spacious, with dining and lounge areas, an e-sports room, a pool table, and even a fish tank and cats. Overall, I found it to be very good and I'm quite satisfied. However, there's always room for improvement. After staying for three nights, I had more time to observe. First, the shampoo and shower gel dispensers were empty. When I reported it, the response was something like they'd be refilled when the cleaning staff came in the next day. But on the second night, they were still empty and hadn't been refilled. So, for all three nights, I couldn't use the shower gel and just showered with hot water, as the other shower stalls were occupied when it was my turn. This might seem like a minor detail, but I believe that when a traveler's needs aren't met correctly, promptly, and thoughtfully, there's always a sense of disappointment. It feels like your basic requests aren't valued, and you're left with a forgotten or unresolved issue. Nevertheless, for a hostel, it's actually quite good overall. The positives definitely outweigh the negatives."

"I came to Qingdao for a solo trip and stayed at Backpackers Hostel for the first time. The experience was great! The location is right next to Yan'an 3rd Road subway station, which makes getting around super convenient. The slippers provided are waterproof and disinfected, and the bedding is very clean. The environment is just as shown in the pictures. As my first time staying in a youth hostel, it exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely choose Backpackers Hostel again in the future!"

"At 26 yuan a night, what more can you ask for? The sheets and duvet covers are changed daily, there are shared bathrooms (single cubicles), free laundry, free private lockers, a few fitness equipment, the front desk staff are friendly, and the surrounding area is convenient for getting around and eating (Daming Lake Station, subway station, and bus station are all very close, and there are many small restaurants). I really can't find any fault with it except for the lack of privacy."

"This youth hostel has an elegant environment and a superb view. From the window, you can see the scenery of Yantai Mountain & Binhai Square. Sitting there, listening to music, drinking tea & coffee, chatting, daze, office, are super cool 👍 Complete facilities, comfortable bed, clean and hygienic, the boss and his wife are attentive, and the feedback problem is dealt with in a timely manner 🙏👍 It is extremely convenient to eat, drink and play around 👍 The price/performance ratio should not be too fragrant ✌🌹"

"Best hostel I've ever been to! This hostel opened recently so thanks to this there currently aren't a lot of guests staying, which is great for a quiet stay. Everything is clean, the rooms and bathrooms are large and convenient, and most importantly the manager is really nice! He will accommodate your stay to make it as pleasant as possible. The area around the hostel also seems newly built (the building where the hostel is also doesn't have many businesses at the moment) and everything is available within walking distance. If I have to stay in Weihai again, I will for sure come back to this place!"

"This was an absolutely amazing stay! First off, the hygiene was impeccable; the beds were clean and soft, and the privacy curtains really ensured personal space. It was also very quiet at night. Secondly, the location is superb with convenient transportation and plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The best part was how warm and welcoming the owner and staff were, offering lots of practical tips to avoid tourist traps. To stay in such a cozy and stylish hostel for just a few bucks is truly incredible value for money. I’ll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!"

"This was my first time staying in a female-only hostel, and Strawberry Hostel immediately won me over! I genuinely recommend it to all solo female travelers looking for a short-term stay. What really stood out to me was the all-female guest policy. There are no male guests in the entire hostel, so no matter how late I returned, I felt completely safe. I didn't have to worry about unfamiliar people coming and going, and the host clearly states in the guest rules that male guests are not allowed. This truly maximized my sense of security while traveling alone. The interior design is incredibly thoughtful. Everywhere you look, there are various figurines and dolls collected by the owner. The wall shelves, hooks, and even the top of the refrigerator are filled with adorable ornaments. The vintage red brick walls are complemented by atmospheric circular pendant lights, irregular full-length mirrors, a rotating bookshelf filled with books, and a wish wall covered with traveler's messages. Every corner is gentle and healing, perfect for taking beautiful photos. The common area has plush sofas, and relaxing on one, cuddling a plush toy, and just zoning out instantly smoothed away my travel fatigue. Thoughtfulness is evident in every detail: the refrigerator has clear guest rules posted, outlining sleep schedules, toiletries, and luggage storage policies, and the Wi-Fi password is easy to find. The common areas have warm reminders, regulating quiet hours and usage guidelines, ensuring a peaceful and quiet stay. The check-in and check-out processes are simple, and you can even store your luggage for free, which is super convenient for temporary storage. Whether it's for budget travel, a short business trip, or temporary accommodation for studying, this place is perfect. The value for money is great, and the house full of cute decorations and warm ambiance makes the hostel feel as comfortable as a temporary home. I've already recommended it to my traveling girlfriends, and I'll definitely choose Strawberry Hostel again next time!"

"The room was quite clean and had air conditioning. My room also had a private shower, so I didn't have to use the communal bathrooms, which seemed to be mixed-gender. They don't provide purified water, a water dispenser, or disposable cups. There's only one kettle on the first floor where you can boil tap water, but I found the taste of the tap water to be a bit off, so I went out to a small shop to buy bottled water. A nice bonus is that they have two well-behaved and friendly cats that you can pet."

"There are cats inside, so please be aware if you mind cat hair. The restaurant's location is super convenient; the subway station is right downstairs, and there are lots of restaurants and a courier station nearby. Highly recommended! The owner is incredibly kind and helped me so much 😭😭😭, and the environment is cozy 🥺🥺🥺. I'd definitely stay here again next time 🥳🥳 The only minor drawback is that the showerhead in the bathroom might not be the best 🤣, but it's not a big deal. Overall, it's fantastic 🥳🥳🥳🥳"
