This was absolutely brilliant, I have never stayed at a hostel before, but this place has opened my eyes, and I'll be doing it next time for sure.
For the price, it was excellent, I went in late March and was very nice. People were very respectful, although I should've brushed up on my Spanish a bit more. Very clean, comfortable, and private bunk area with clean showers and even breakfast.
I'd like to thank all involved.
Go there now, El Medano is very chilled, not full of drunken tourists. Don't usually go to the same country/ island twice, but if I do, I'll be staying at the El Medano Nest Hostel undoubtedly.

Good location: 10 minutes from the airport; walking distance to La Laguna bus-station, city shopping & nightlife. Clean, light dorms, shared kitchen & top-floor terrace with a bar. Nice to work and socialize with mostly backpackers & independent travellers exploring the university town. Friendly hostel-team - also help-full when problems with an other booking agent occur.

Nice and clean and great location. Street it is on felt a little dark and we were wary walking down it at night. Only downside was noise levels , everything seemed to echo so we could hear doors slamming, people walking and talking all night, shower from room upstairs etc
Would recommend especially for price and value.

Amazing. Really friendly. Was a girl checking us in, amazing lady, friendly and informative. Free beer also! Clean. Comfy mattress. 3/4 shower rooms. Location is 10/10. Booked a lot lot lot worse for more than I paid today. Highly recomed.

The location of the hotel is simply perfect – central, quiet and ideal to reach everything quickly. The staff is extremely friendly and sympathetic, you feel welcome from the first moment.
The cleanliness is particularly positive: the commonly used areas such as shower, bathroom, toilet, living room, kitchen and roof terrace are thoroughly cleaned several times a day. This always gives a pleasant and maintained atmosphere.
A total of a really recommendable hotel where you feel well around!

ZZak544Great service, good location, always has someone in the reception, clean, room is a bit tight, but it's okay for the price. Great view from the hostel; it’s a straight bank of the North Atlantic Ocean. Has TITSA public transport link, bus no. 111 towards Santa Cruz, good connection from the airport, careful about the night buses as the timetable is mad. Muffin and coffee as a breakfast, which is complementary; also, you can make it yourself if you shop. There are 2 small supermarkets, but they close around 8 pm; after sunset, the area looks dead, tbh, but I felt safe.

As El Paso is not a big town here, going anywhere needs a bus change at either Santa Cruz or Los Lloyds
The hostel itself is reasonably clean
Staffs are friendly
There are some guests look like lodging here for a long time

AAnonymous UserОтличный хостел за свою цену, буквально в минуте ходьбы от океана. Дружелюбная атмосфера, ежедневная уборка, даже небольшой уголок для коворкинга. Есть две кухни, одна работает с 08:30-22:00, другая круглосуточно. Комнаты оборудованы вентиляторами. С учётом вечного ветра в Эль-Медано, довольно комфортно. Сам хостел расположен в шаговой доступности от остановок автобуса и супермаркетов, которые, кстати, работают и по воскресеньям. Единственный минус, который бы я отметил - это отсутствие навеса на крыше. Когда солнце, там очень жарко.
