To be quite honest, this hostel/hostel took me by surprise. I secured a deluxe double room for two nights, and this was by far one of the cleanest (inclusive of private bathroom) rooms I had on the trip. The facilities were amazing too - rooftop terrace and bar, arcade game station, pool, basketball, etc. The only thing that I didn't get was why we had to leave our driver's licence behind (or $25 USD as an alternative) at the desk for collection at check-out. I think this was the security deposit from memory, but in my opinion, the handing over of my driver's doesn't sit right with me. Just make people pay the security deposit and refund it back to them at the end.

Very disappointed with the staff at the reception. I got to their hostel at around 9 pm, the receptionists (two men) asked me to wait until they were done with some work, I was exhausted but tried to be patient. However even when they finished I wasn’t called to do the check in. I had to ask them a twice when I saw they were doing nothing. Terrible costumer service. Not helpful at all at any time. These guys really need some training

Only one shower in the room, the others were upstaires. There was a bar on the top of the hostel, so lot of noise at night, very hard to sleep. Not even a shower towel provided. The separations between the beds were really bare minimum. Shared kitchen dirty. But the personnel was very nice and the location was nice.

I’d say this is the best hostel in my entire solo trip this year. More spacious rooms and location is just perfect. U can also book breakfast to save on money. They have a bunch of activities but unfortunately I didn’t join in. Had a busy schedule. Don’t hesitate to check it out if u r in Cancun
