Hostels in Wellington, New Zealand

I extended my stay in Room 326 and the 6 electrical wall plugs in the room were not working from 26th December until I checked out on the 28th. The front desk personell worked it out from the main switchboard on the evening of the 26th, but it was out again in the early morning of the 27th. Room lights were working well accept for the power outlets. Unreliable service. I had to lie by the main door to use the corridor electrical wall plugs.

The hostel is good. Beds are really comfortable, with curtains. I was in a 4 bed shared room for one week, it was perfect and I was alone in the room 3 nights ! The kitchen is well equipped, I met some people too. And there is a supermarket right in front of the hostel so it's cool Windows needs to be repaired bc you can't close them completely, some air can still pass and I was right above the ventilation system of a restaurant, so it was noisy because I couldn't close the farm completely (room 614)

Check in was very efficient. Sufficient information given. The building is large and a bit confusing but helpful coloured signage resolves that. They offer evening activities to encourage the visitors to mingle. Bbq was the first one and free!

Well situated,staff are polite and helpful. Comfy beds with a T.V to watch toilets and showers very clean......... highly recommend.

The environment is very good, it is in a prosperous area, it is very convenient to eat and buy things, and it is not far to walk to the scenic spots you want to visit. The room is very quiet, and the layout of the bed is also good. The walls are solid inside, which increases the width of the bed and makes it convenient to put things. The only thing I feel is lacking is that the hooks in the shower room on the second floor are gone and have not been repaired. It is inconvenient to hang clothes in the shower. In addition, shampoo and shower gel are not provided.

The rooms, lounge and entrance had high ceilings and did not feel small! The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean! On the other hand, we used the shared shower room outside our room, but after waiting for a long time, there was no warm water and we showered with cold water. (I tried both of the two, but only water came out.) If only water is served, I thought it would be kind if there was a notice on the wall. Other than that, it was a good place to stay.

Very friendly staff, super helpful, seem like they really care about the people staying. The bedroom we stayed in was really nice, the bed was super comfy. Would stay again, in fact, we intend to re book soon!
