The room with bathroom inside the room with balcony.
No curtains on the beds, the light can bother, no privacy.
There is elevator, no problems with luggage.
There is a kitchen, but is closed in the night time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary)
The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall.
We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos)
We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond.
Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.

Guest UserThe location is fantastic, right in the old town with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. It's about a 10-minute walk to Avenida da Liberdade, but you'll need good stamina as Lisbon is the city of seven hills, so it feels like you're constantly going up and down. The hotel's own bar was noisy until after 1 AM, and there was a very strong BBQ smell. Also, for two mornings, the area around the hotel had a terrible stench, though I'm not sure why. But the convenience of the location is undeniable. The hygiene and breakfast were just mediocre, and the elevator was an old-fashioned one that could only fit one person. However, Lisbon itself is such a charming city. After returning to Toronto, I broke out in a lot of red bumps, and I have no idea what caused them.

Guest UserPros: The public area on the first basement level is huge, and the kitchen is also very large, connecting to a garden, which is lovely.
Cons: There are only shared restrooms and showers. The showers are push-button style, so you have to keep pressing them. However, there are several restrooms and showers on each floor, which is quite sufficient, and I didn't have to queue.
Location: There are quite a few slopes nearby; you'll need to walk uphill from the subway station. If you have a lot of luggage, I recommend taking a taxi.
Cleanliness: Good, very clean.

Anonymous UserThe location was great, and the entrance and common areas were clean. You can borrow hair dryers and kettles from the entrance. Also, unusually for a hostel, bath towels are provided free of charge.
Here are the things that bothered me:
In the 6-person room, it was inconvenient that the bathroom and toilet weren't separate. There's no separate bathroom outside the room, so you should expect waiting times.
When I arrived, both elevators weren't working, and I had to carry heavy luggage up to the 4th floor via the stairs.
Beds are not assigned in advance. I checked in around 10 PM, and only one top bunk was available, and there was a clearly used bath towel on it. The bedding was also a bit messy.
Since you get your own bath towel at the front desk when checking in, I assume someone in the same room moved to a bottom bunk. Because there's no assignment, it makes moving around possible.
I ended up having to sleep on an uncleaned bed, but I didn't have the energy to go up and down the stairs to the 4th floor again, so I just gave up.
While you could say I just had bad luck, it's something that could happen again due to the system.

We had a family suite, 4 beds and a private washroom. The soundproofing of the place is very poor. There's supposed to be quiet hours, but it was not enforced very well, if at all. At 12am, there was a group of very rowdy crowd running and making loud noises but no one came to enforce it. .If you are a deep sleeper, this will be okay, but if you are a light sleeper like myself then I don't recommend it.
We were told different information by different staffs. At first they told us that each towel will be 3euro, but upon returning and just going to get 1 as we bought 2 elsewhere, we were told it's free because we got the family room.
We were charged 32 euro for the tourist fee, even though trip.com states it was 24.

Looking at the pictures, I thought this was in a suburban area, as a small garden like this doesn't seem like something you'd find in Lisbon's old town. But surprisingly, there are still spaces like this even on the upper floors of old town apartment buildings. The owner is very thoughtful, and it felt like very Chinese-style service. The English-speaking front desk service was excellent, and since it was Halloween, there were candies on the bar, plus free lemonade! However, the biggest issue is that there's no elevator to the fourth floor, and I nearly collapsed dragging my large suitcase before getting through the door. Thankfully, the room itself was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the space wasn't as small as other apartments. It was very cozy, and there are many fantastic little shops nearby, with food and atmosphere that are just as good as Michelin-starred places! Loved it.

I can recommend this hostel for a couple of nights or for a long layover. It has a good location, with an airport bus stop and metro station not far away.
The staff at the reception are very friendly.
As for the rooms, the capsule style is quite comfortable, but the rooms are very small, the walls are thin, and the soundproofing is poor. Other women were talking loudly in the kitchen, they seem to be permanent residents, and their voices could even be heard in the sleeping area.
Some guests are very noisy in the kitchen, acting as if they're on a TV show. They take up all the tables with their groceries, leaving no space for others to sit.
Of course, this isn't the hostel's fault, but they could implement rules regarding the use of common areas.
The hostel is a bit tired and could use some cosmetic renovations.
Cleaning is done daily, but the cleaning staff are very unfriendly.
Conclusion: A good hostel for a short stopover.
