Hospitality standards from the staff is poor, lack of emotional intelligence, lack of empathy for the guest. I have never seen where a guest would need to go down to the reception in front of other guests to give his laundry for dry cleaning!!!totally weird. Front office agent Moses needs to undergo more training on how to greet the guest and body language usage when in front of a guest . We are paying, so your staff needs to learn how-serve with courtesy. Your room service staffs are bringing their card machines inside the room to plug to the socket and charge it before taking payment???? Wasting our time till our food got cold and unenjoyable! Even after telling her to come back for the payment so as to eat on time, she directly declined like we were going to run away without paying. Phones are not working properly, when ordering I was told to speak louder couple of times till I started shouting on top of my voice. Total wasted night

The hotel is clean. There was an issue with our booking but the Female Manager was great. Later on another Manager helped also. Staff are friendly. I can't remember names but they were outstanding.

Great hotel. Very clean and lots of activities on site. Food was delicious 🤤 and the staff were really kind an accommodating. It’s the perfect place for solo travellers who are in Lagos for business or pleasure.

Set in the city’s highbrow area of Ikeja, 3 miles from Murtala Muhammed International airport and ten minutes from the commercial district of Allen Avenue, is the luxury boutique CitiHeight Hotel. It is also in the vicinity of several global hotel brands including Ibis, Sheraton and Radisson Blu. Having booked our holiday straight after the Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s July 19th announcement, my daughter and I took our first post COVID-19 international trip in search of some culturally relevant inspiration. Lagos was a great option as it is on the UK government’s amber list of countries and a destination where we could really get immersed in the culture. Our UK airport experience was hectic to say the least, and we arrived a day later than scheduled. Even the most-prepared traveller is advised to have two or three back-up plans in case of “incaseities”. I sent a quick email to the hotel, explaining the last minute change in plans and luckily for us, Banji, the hotel manager was very accommodating and sympathetic to our plight. Upon arrival, we were treated like VIP’s by the polite and friendly hotel staff who took our luggage and escorted us to our room on the 6th floor. Prior to our travel, we had made reservations through booking.com and in response to our welcome email, we made a special request for “a high floor with a birds eye view”. While our preference was peace and privacy, we anticipated endless trips down to the restaurant and bar. Our executive room was pretty much like the photos on the website. Palatial, lustrous and spacious, featuring a plush king size bed with bespoke bedside cabinets and an inviting lounge area. Alongside the usual amenities, there was the obligatory hand sanitizer, but I couldn’t help but notice the bold and intriguing artwork decorating the walls. What a fantastic way to showcase emerging as well as established artists. CitiHeight is a luxury boutique hotel, on par with international standards, and I would go as far as calling it an ‘art hotel’ considering the vast art collection and attention to visual aesthetics. The allure for me was the authentic art pieces dotted throughout the hotel. From the hotel entrance, to the lobby, restaurant, and on every floor. I saw choice object d’art pieces that fused local elements of traditional art within the luxury architecture, giving the hotel a sense of high-end opulence fused with contemporary cool. I began to envisage a ‘classic meets contemporary’ theme for a photo shoot. Tip: Take some Instagrammable shots around the hotel (Do not touch artwork). Pool Life: When it comes to ‘pool life’ at CitiHeight, just grab a sunbed and relax. Although the pool lacks an outside view, poolside was a popular hangout for my daughter and her friends. Since it had a private/secret garden feel that was ideal for swimming, sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun during the day. Looking at the pictures of bedding and linens, the bed is quite comfortable. Hotel decoration: see pictures for yourself. Bathroom: There is no dry and wet separation. Facilities: relatively simple, but basically there, and relatively new. There is coffee downstairs, Chinese and Western food upstairs, as well as sports and massage! Hygiene: relatively clean and hygienic Environment: There are many people and the location is pretty good. You can see many black people taking photos in the lobby every day, and you can also see many stewardesses and stewardesses waiting for pilots. Service: OK, not 100 points, but 80-90 points

One of the best hotels on the island of Victoria. I haven't been to Nigeria for several years, and it still looks like this again. The water in the pipes is a bit turbid. Fortunately, the environment is not bad and the stay is relatively quiet. It's okay in such a country.

Walking into the environment is a lifetime feeling one shouldn’t miss, you’d wonder where has this place been all your life! The warmth welcome and how the waiter presented the menu is top notch. Oh how I loved the arts on the wall, it gave me this traditional aura of being proud of my origin. I didn’t stay long tho, only came to see a friend, was already heavy to eat anything, I wished i could force myself to, lol, but I had cocktail and the taste was heaven!

I enjoyed my stay here it was all in all a great stay. However, for supposedly one of the best hotels in Lagos, there are no activities or restaurants on site. There’s a nice little bar on the 5th floor but apart from that you’ll have to eat at the hotels buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. The buffet needs serious upgrade to pay $25 dollars there is a lack of choice. The coffee shop at the lobby sucks because there’s no barista or at-least some that knows how to make good coffee instead any staff that’s available on I’ll make your coffee when you order. Apart from that the hotel is very clean for Lagos hotel standards.

Most of the roomss are upstairs, if your flight was a long one, you might not be willing to climb stairs. They upgraded our room and the service was okay! Overall 4/5

It's okay, but the place to live is small, but the food is okay, there is also a Chinese restaurant next to it, you can also order beer and some western food

We stayed in this clean hotel for 2 weeks during our summer vacation. Everything works in this hotel. The lift is reliable, hot and cold water with reasonable pressure. The restaurant is open 24 hours and the breakfast buffet has acceptable standards. Their rates are reasonable. The staffs are courteous and helpful. The porters are helpful during checking in but they could do with more porters to help with hand baggages on subsequent days

The 4 night stay in Ivy Emerald was a wonderful and breath taking experience. The environment is very clean and beautiful. The rooms are well decorated with fully functional facilities. The staff are very friendly and accommodating as they are always willing to assist. The only area that requires improvement is the breakfast as it has limited options and the buffet does run out quickly. It was a good stay overall and well recommended.

Good hotel. Was affordable for me. Good staff. But last year and this year, I have tried reaching the hotel through the numbers on their google map and websites, book a room again and tried calling with the number in the email. During my recent stay at Park Inn by Radison, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and comfort offered. From the moment I checked in, the staff displayed remarkable hospitality, ensuring every need was met with a smile. The room was impeccably clean, well-furnished, and thoughtfully designed, providing an atmosphere of relaxation and luxury. The amenities, were top-notch and added a delightful touch to the experience. The on-site dining was equally impressive, with a menu that catered to diverse tastes and dishes

Breakfast was good. Wi-Fi was not very good.

I stayed here for a week on business. This hotel has excellent service from reception to housekeeping to room service. The room that I got was spacious and very quiet - great for a good night's sleep. The hotel has a very good spa and wellness centre. The food is high quality mainstream fare. Not particularly creative though, and no plant-based main dishes.

If I samori keita from Guinea Bissau was about to share the experience here in Nordic Hotel I would say that the Nordic Hotel has adequate security, the entrance controls are conducted 100%, the reception of staff attends to guest in a timely manner, the service staff is very courteous with us guests, the meals are very special, the bartenders are efficient, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the there is internet throughout the space. I stayed at the Blowfish hotel on 13th January 2022. It was advertised as a four star hotel. The signing in was uncomplicated and the reception staff were helpful and efficient. I booked a deluxe room and was taken there. The room was good - neat, tidy and spacious. The air conditioner worked. The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a bath in the accommodation as well as a shower. So given all of that why does it only merit a rating of 3? Well, because when you book a four star hotel you don't just expect accommodation of good quality - you also expect a four star hotel to have an eye for and an attention to detail. This was sadly lacking. Firstly, having stayed in hotels in different locations of different quality for the past 40 years, this is the first time I have stayed in a room which did not have a single clothes hanger. Secondly, I'm a tea drinker. The only drinks provided were sachets of coffee and green mint tea (yuk!) so I went and bought some regular black tea. Thirdly, as the bath is also a shower, there is a fixed panel half the length of the bath which prevents easy access to the taps and means unless you have very long arms, you can't put the bath plug in or turn on the water without getting into the bath - a tense moment as you wait to see whether you have guessed right and the water comes out of the faucet or the shower head. Luckily, I got it right. Fourthly, they tell you on arrival that there is room service and vaguely tell you where breakfast will be served but there's no information pack or room service in the room. This would be helpful and would probably generate more room service revenue. The breakfast was just ok although the card you are given on arrival says breakfast is served from 6am - it's not,,, its 7am. The girls at reception did mention this to me but maybe it should also be reflected on the room key card to avoid any confusion. Finally, the TV was a waste of time. I think there were five or six channels available and three of these had a 'fuzzy' picture. Really? A four star hotel? So. all in all a nice place, good accommodation, nice service but the devil is in the detail. For many people these issues will be a minor distraction. To me the difference between lower and higher quality hotels is attention to that kind of detail. Little things mean a lot. Good but must do better!!
