Sapphire City Hotel

We had a fantastic experience at Sapphire City Hotel Baku! The warm hospitality, courteous staff, and well-maintained property made our trip truly enjoyable. Sona from the front desk stood out with her kindness and professionalism, making us feel valued throughout our stay. Located right in the heart of Nizami Street, the hotel is perfect for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. We strongly recommend this property to anyone visiting Baku!

The stay was pretty ok but the front desk experience was harrowing in the way they dealt with us for some bookings for transportation. Would recommend to be clearer in your bookings terms with them to avoid surprises and bitter experience later. Overall good staff and eople and comfortable stay. The Executive Rooms were disappointing though compared to claims.

I had an incredibly negative experience at Sapphire City Hotel Baku that has completely soured my view of the city. During check-in, the bellboy took our luggage to the second floor alone. Shortly after, I realized my wallet with 600 USD and my credit card had been stolen. It’s clear that the theft occurred during the check-in process. When I brought this to the attention of the hotel staff, they showed very little concern or urgency in addressing the issue. To make matters worse, the hotel manager had the audacity to tell me, “When you get your money back, make sure to give me a gift.” This is not only unprofessional but incredibly disrespectful, especially in such a serious situation. There were no real steps taken to investigate the theft, and the hotel’s response to my complaint was dismissive at best. It felt as though they cared more about receiving a gift than resolving the issue or helping me recover my stolen money. This experience has completely shaken my trust in both the hotel and the city. I had high hopes for Baku, but after this, I can’t recommend it as a safe destination for tourists. I urge anyone considering staying at Sapphire City Hotel to be extremely cautious with their personal belongings and expect little support from the management in the event of a problem.

Saphire City Hotel is right at the Nizami and just at the Famous fountain to be precise. Full marks for the location. You can't be in a better spot than this. This hotel gives you a contemporary vibe and still manages to uphold luxury. Rooms are large with great ceiling height and the balconies really add to the whole charm. (Please take room with balconies) Best rates could be available directly at the hotel website and one can pay directly at the hotel. It has a rooftop Restaurant aesthetically filled with Greenery and birds chirping around. Food is good as well. Breakfast has a decent spread with limited continental veg options.
