"This international brand, established over a decade ago, is showing its age with outdated facilities that no longer match its brand image. Fortunately, the front desk staff was very sharp and proactively upgraded our reserved room. The reason given was that it was rainy during our stay and our original room would have been quite damp. I'm glad for the upgrade; seeing the upgraded room's condition, I can only imagine how uncomfortable our original booking would have been. The staff at the front desk, breakfast area, and those operating the small train were all very enthusiastic. The hotel's surroundings are quite desolate; to find local cuisine, you'd have to drive at least 20 kilometers to the city. The hotel's evening beach entertainment program was also quite limited. If you're not driving and relying solely on the hotel's shuttle service to and from the high-speed rail station, you'd really need to think twice, unless you plan on vacationing at the hotel for a week and have ample time to work around their shuttle schedule."

"Initially, I stayed in a ground-floor courtyard room. It rained for the past two days, and I saw geckos outside, which is understandable. However, there were two large cockroaches in my room! I called the front desk multiple times in the early morning, but no one answered. Eventually, I went to the front desk and requested a room change. While there were no more cockroaches in the new room, I still saw geckos. I didn't even dare to use the private hot spring on the balcony.

The facilities are quite old, and my overall experience was just average. I stayed in a Moon Reflection Building room with a private pool. Initially, the balcony lock in my first room was broken, so I was moved to another. Later, I discovered that the light in the outdoor hot tub was out at night. I contacted staff, who came to check, but informed me that all lights turn on and off centrally, and they couldn't control individual lights. So, essentially, the light was broken. It was pitch black at night, making it impossible to use the hot tub in the room.

Cleanliness was decent; I didn't find anything particularly dirty or problematic.
## Service:
The service was okay, and response times were quite fast. Staff helped clean the private hot tub, changed my room, came to check the lights, and delivered mugwort sachets for bathing – all done quickly. However, the old facilities significantly detracted from the experience. I specifically booked this room for the private hot tub, but with no light at night, it was too dark to use it."

The manager was super friendly and chatty; he even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. He gave us tons of great recommendations for local places to eat. The front desk lady even saved some sweet soup for us in the evenings. The room was extremely quiet, no outside noise at all, so I slept wonderfully.

Wyndham Hotels in the United States, one of the world's largest hotel groups with 43 years of history, also has one in Xinyi and is ranked first in luxury hotels on the Trip.com platform, so I deliberately went to experience the stay. The hotel is located in the Lotus Lake Scenic Area, surrounded by green waters and clear mountains, beautiful scenery, fresh air, and a green green open with purple and red flowers, which makes people feel refreshed.
The hotel lobby is magnificently designed, the public areas are decorated with artistic atmosphere, and the fresh flowers are emitted in the space with a faint fragrance. The room I stayed in faced with the lake view, standing on the balcony to enjoy the lake and mountains, it was very pleasant.

ShanfengdapingyuanBecause I didn't find a suitable stay in Huazhou, I temporarily switched to electric white. This stay will definitely give full marks. I will drive from Jiangmen with my friends all the way to Xinyi to Maoming. I can live in Ramada at the same price as the Maoming area B&B. The price/performance ratio is really good. The hotel facilities are full, the details are in place, the soap is also very good, and the hands are not washed. The service is intimate and comprehensive, the laundry is all night, and the waiter also changed the dryer to dry the next day, so don't worry.
In addition to the hardware, the books in the room are also beautiful. If you don't go out, it is very comfortable to sit on the sofa in the room and flip through the picture book.
In addition, it is highly recommended that everyone check in and look at the food books provided by the hotel. After reading the book name, I know that the ancient name of this place is ”Gaoliang”. The editing is very good. Behind the food is life and the history of Maoming. The shops inside are all civilian shops that have been in operation for many years. The quality can be guaranteed. After reading the greatly increased understanding of Maoming cuisine, I wanted to unlock more orthodox local cuisine, so I had lunch with my friends before leaving.
