"There are two hotels in the same building, probably owned by the same person. I've known about this hotel for a long time, which means it's an older one. It's probably been renovated, but not thoroughly; the sink drains betray its age. The newly opened Hilton Garden Inn, with its ”Free and Easy Travel” philosophy, exceeded our expectations in every detail and overall experience. Our first impression was one of meticulous service. Stepping into the lobby, the modern, minimalist design complemented the lounge and work area. The front desk staff greeted us with warm smiles, quickly facilitating check-in and even providing complimentary bottled water. The room was fully equipped with a separate shower and toilet, a smart toilet, and a microwave. A welcome note was also left on the desk. These thoughtful touches instantly eased our travel fatigue. The breakfast selection was plentiful, with the aroma of local specialty beef brisket noodles being particularly enticing. The restaurant staff thoughtfully brought it to our table. The service was impeccable. The 24-hour complimentary coffee bar was a highlight, where we often took a break – a truly cozy and relaxing experience. The laundry room was equipped with multiple washer-dryers, all free of charge. After drying, the items were neatly folded and returned to the room by the staff. The gym equipment was brand new. These seemingly small actions by the staff imbued the word ”service” with warmth. Its opening has injected new vitality into Maoming tourism and made us realize that true luxury stems from respect and care for every detail."

"The hotel is a non-smoking area, and the lobby and guest rooms are all non-smoking areas. But on the first day of my stay, I saw a man and a woman smoking as they entered the elevator in the lobby on the 5th floor. "I stayed two nights. The hotel's location is excellent, in the heart of the old town, with convenient dining options nearby, a wet market next door, and a KFC a few hundred meters away. The rooms were recently renovated, spacious, and looked clean and tidy. Disposable cups were provided. However, the bathroom was small, lacked a shower stall, and there was no place to hang clothes. Disposable slippers were also not provided. I also found two small cockroaches on the table. While cockroaches are difficult to completely eliminate, finding them is always unpleasant, and the hotel should take steps to eradicate them. Also, on my first night, several police officers came to check the room. It's unbelievable that such arbitrary room checks are still happening in Maoming; what era are we living in? Aside from that, it was a good hotel, and the price was reasonable."
