I am currently staying at the Holiday Inn in Bangkok (BKK) and I am absolutely delighted with my experience. I felt compelled to write a review to praise this wonderful hotel.
The location is truly excellent! It is perfectly situated for exploring the city, with easy access to [e.g., the BTS Skytrain, shopping malls, restaurants.
It makes getting around Bangkok so convenient.
What really sets this hotel apart is the outstanding service. From the moment I arrived, every member of the staff has been incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional.
The people who work here are the hotel's biggest asset – they are always friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to make sure guests have a comfortable stay.
I am extremely impressed with the high level of hospitality. The entire experience has been fantastic. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn BKK to anyone visiting Bangkok and look forward to returning on my next trip!

We had a wonderful stay as every staff was so friendly, helpful and professional. Their great hospitality made us feel at home. Every staff smiling and doing their duties diligently. They were also very proactive in helping the guests. The hotel is located at a good location where there are many eateries and restaurants. We will come back to stay with them again. Kudos to every staff.

Nice, clean and comfortable hotel at Silom area. Room is spacious and good amenities. The breakfast spread was good. Many choices. Many restaurants nearby walking distance, 7-11. Location wise - BTS is a 10-12 minute walk. Reasonable rate at trip and with the rate, perhaps better to be at hotels in pratunam area with better access to shopping areas, if you’re a tourist as this location is nearer to the river.

The room is OK.However, there is a door between it and the next room. Although the door can't be opened, it is not very soundproof.

1. Outdated Facilities
The hotel shows its age—furniture, bedding, carpets, and towels are worn out, more in line with a 3+ star than a 4-star standard. Don’t expect luxury here.
2. Lack of Genuine Hospitality
Most staff were indifferent, with only a few (especially the elderly ones) offering warm greetings. The usher lady at the breakfast hall was the only exception—truly kind. Otherwise, we never felt welcome.
3. Poor Check-In Experience
At arrival, my receptionist didn’t offer luggage assistance, even though I was with my elderly parents. Meanwhile, the staff next to her helped another guest. Small gestures matter in hospitality—this was a letdown.
4. Unnecessarily Harsh Warning
One staff member firmly scolded my dad for smoking near the escalator (his mistake, admittedly). However, a polite reminder would’ve been more appropriate.
5. Poor Parking Logistics
The tiny lobby parking couldn’t handle two big buses and a guest car, forcing my Grab car to drop us on the road. We had to walk and take the escalator up—poor planning for a hotel of this rating.
Verdict: 3/5 – Would Not Rebook
While the stay was tolerable, the lack of warmth, outdated amenities, and inconsistent service mean I won’t be returning.
